Samsung Galaxy A32 VoLTE (Unboxing)

Hey guys this is mike from tech reviews here, and today we unbox and take a look at the galaxy a32. Alright, guys welcome back to the channel, and thanks for uh returning and subscribing to people that have already subscribed to the channel. So again, today we're going to take a look at the Samsung Galaxy a32. So this is a mid-range device under the 300 mark, and you know I did order a couple devices and this is one of them, and this is one of the newer galaxy, a series devices. So I wanted to kind of take a look at it and do an unboxing for you guys. So let's go ahead and get the unboxing going.

I already kind of removed the tape here. So here's the actual packaging uh. Just a quick note. This is not a 5g device. So for those of you who are looking into a 5g device, this is not it so again.

Here it is. This phone is packing a 6.4 inch super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 hertz. By the way it says it's got an infinity: u display. It's got a quad camera setup, and it's got an on screen fingerprint sensor. So actually that is something I didn't know about this one.

It has an on screen fingerprint sensor and, as you can see there, it does have that quad camera set up again excuse the glare, but as you can see that it's not too bad once I get this off it'll, probably not look as bad, so I always have trouble getting these um. You know these little pieces of plastic off over here. It's like I'm a big failure at this and at life and at YouTube basically, but for the most part, let's go ahead and peel this off, I'm not really going to need it after this point and just feeling this phone in the hand. First, it's a pretty big bulky phone, so here's the back of it so the back of it is actually. I thought it was going to be more of a matte finish, but it is actually a shiny uh finish, and I believe this is probably just going to be a hard polycarbonate or in you know, fancy terms.

It's just plastic basically, but it really doesn't look too bad, I mean for the most part uh. It is a big phone again. I always kind of complain about big devices in my uh, my unboxing, because most of these mid-range tear phones are you know in that are under that 300 range are larger than six inches, and I'm I'm more of a fan of small factor. Well, hello, small factor, phones, phones between five and five inches and six inches. So right now, again, just telling you right out of the box, though this phone, even though it has a plastic bag, it has a pretty good feel in the hand.

It's got a pretty good weight. Uh. You can see there that it does have a little of a notch right there, uh in the middle there. So of course that's going to be your camera bump in the front and of course, your camera bumps uh in the back, which is your triple camera setup right there and then your fourth setup again, I don't know too much on the specs of the camera. I can tell you this does have a MediaTek hello processor, which is something that a lot of people might complain about.

So let's go ahead and let's get this turned on see if it has any juice, it is going to have USB type c by the way. So for those of you who are wondering over here, if I can get that in the shot, sometimes my camera picks it up. Sometimes it does not uh. In this case you just have one speaker girl on the bottom and of course you have. You actually have an uh 3.5 millimeter headphone jack over here. So that's actually pretty good.

So again, it's got that 90 hertz display uh, refresh rate, which I'm pretty interested in actually and again uh. You know I told myself this year that I'm going to be doing some more Samsung Galaxy phones, especially the unboxing over here, and of course this is the international version. If you guys look at this, it's going to be saying iniciando in Spanish, so, and then it says bienvenido. So that means just welcome. You know what I mean.

So I'm going to go ahead and change this to English United States, just because my Spanish is horrible, and it says: welcome, so I'm going to go ahead and go ahead and get this set up for you guys, really, quick, okay, all right guys. So, thanks for holding while I was setting the device up so again, I do have it set up, and I did get my fingerprint sensor set up. So, as you can see there, the fingerprint is not very accurate, or maybe I'm you know, the phone needs an update uh for the most part, though again this device is running android 11 with. I believe I want to call it one touch, but it's not one touch. I think it's called one UI, and it's running on 3.1 to my knowledge and again just a heads-up. Furthermore, I will be posting the link for this item in the description below and if you purchase this item using that link, you know I do get a kickback from that.

Furthermore, I am an affiliate for the program over here, so it does help out the channel when you uh purchase uh using those links. So just a heads-up guys on that. So I appreciate it. If you do, if you don't know worries again back to the video here, so for the most part you know this phone does feel pretty good in hands uh. Even if, even though it's a 6.5 inch display, it does feel a little bulky though, like honestly, like I mean it, feels a little fat, the surroundings of it are a little more like on the aluminum side or the fake aluminum plastic again on the side over here you do have uh your power buttons and your fingerprint sensors, your volume rockers and on the bottom, you do have your 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, along with your USB type-c and your speaker of course, right on the top there you do have that front-facing camera and on the back of course, you do have your quad camera setup, which I believe is the main camera is a 64 megapixel camera and, along with you, know, just a lot of other goodies here, uh, but again like for the most part. You know, let's see, let's take a look here, so, so just navigating through this device.

Right now I know it's still. Updating and again people are gonna, probably bash me on it. Oh, why didn't you wait until the phone's updating? You won't really know the know how good it is. Ada, Ada! Well again, I'm just test again. This is just an unboxing and impressions video, so take it with a grain of salt.

You know this is just my first impressions of the actual uh device over here. So, let's see, if we can go to settings over here and go to the about phone area over here so again, uh if we can get that focus there, it is the galaxy a32 and right now I do not have a sim available inside the phone just because I will be um, probably putting my T-Mobile sim in it or my other T-Mobile sim in it, because I have two lines with T-Mobile and I will test out the 4g uh LTE uh speeds on this. So again, this is not a 5g phone again. This is under the 300 mark. I believe I paid a little over 280 with taxes uh, so you know keep that in mind.

It looks like it does. Have two slots, though, for two sims, so you can actually have two numbers working on this device, which is pretty cool or if you're traveling et cetera like that, and you're international uh, then you can do that uh. So just a heads-up, you know I'm looking at this, and it's calling about it's talking about battery and device care, so this phone actually has a 5, 000 William battery, and it's pretty cool because it does talk to you about the battery a life itself. This specific device also does have about 128 gigs of internal memory. Out of the box, it looks like it is using about 25 gigs, so you know pretty much after all the updates you're probably going to have a good hundred gigs to work with.

So you know you don't have to buy a memory card out of the box and if you're not one to you, know power use like videos, and you know movies and music on the device. Then you might be okay. If not, then of course you, you might have that option to add a micro SD card so going back to the home screen here. Let's talk about the processor here so again, this phone does not have a snapdragon processor. It has a.

Has a media tech, hello processor uh. I won't go into detail about the specific processor right now. Ooh, let's take a picture. Let's take oh okay, hello, how's it going mike from b-tech here, so camera is actually pretty quick. Of course, I don't know if there's any type of image processing or anything like that for the most part, though picture looks pretty solid and again hopefully you know we'll have to check out the video mode over here, because you know I love to take videos with these.

So again, let's take a look here, so this does take full HD at 30 and then HD at 30 frames a second, so it doesn't look like it. There's any 4k shooting, at least to my knowledge, let's go ahead and check the rest of the settings here. Really quick again, I really like how good these mid-range devices actually take. Video on these specific devices- so hopefully you know we can check that out. It does have HEIF pictures uh as well.

So if you guys don't know what that means, it's like high efficiency, uh photos that waste less memory than you know your typical JPEG or whatever, and it does have high efficiency videos. Also. So that's pretty interesting does have auto HDR uh with photos as well pretty interesting stuff. Again, I'm not really going to mess too much with the settings right now, a little a little disappointed considering it does not have 4k um. For the most part, the phone does seem a little.

Snappy and again the screen looks pretty nice, it's a 90, hertz refresh rate uh, and it's an AMOLED display so uh. You know just take that with the grain of salt, that you know, you're going to have that and again for the most part. You know this running android 11, it's really not too bad. I mean again I'm once this phone updates. You know I'm gonna kind of take full advantage of the actual device, and then we'll see how it works from there.

But guys I just a quick impression so far, I'm a little impressed with the device, although I again I'm not a fan of the the know the in screen fingerprint sensor. I do have to fingerprint setup on that. So let's let's try that again I mean it's not as fast as I want it to be again. You know the only other phone that I've had with the end screen fingerprint sensor is the uh, uh. You know the TCL 10 pro that one got better with an update.

So I'm hoping that's going to be the case for this, but in the meantime, guys again this is just a quick unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy. A32 again, don't forget to smash the like button, if you guys, like the video and again keep an eye out for the review on this device and for the camera test, because I love doing camera tests on this so again, thanks again for watching, don't forget to smash that like button subscribe, if you like the video, and we'll see you guys next time, you.
