Samsung A51 5G Unboxing. (Great) By Serby Waffles Tech

Hey guys welcome back to my channel uh right now. I'm going to do an unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy a51 5g. Now I picked this phone up from samsung. com for 104. That's right, 104 retail price on this phone I believe, was 399 dollars and uh. I got credit for my iPhone trade-in, my iPhone 8 plus.

They actually gave me 285 for it. So I sent that phone back and uh got this phone for 104 dollars. Let's go ahead and unbox it and see. What's inside, all right so see right here, cut that out all right boom and boom all right. Let's go ahead and open it up and take a look inside all right here we have our device Samsung Galaxy, a51 I'll, put that to the side here see what else is in the box.

You got a Samsung, I believe it's a 15 watt, fast charger put that to the side, and it's got the type c cable here and no case. Now, that's a bummer! I wish they had put a case in there, but they didn't. But luckily for me, I bought a case that I'm going to go ahead and slap on later, so let's go ahead and take a look at this phone all right guys. So here's the phone now in the back of the phone, you have the square module camera. It's got four cameras right here.

It's got a 48 megapixel main camera. Furthermore, it's got the 12 megapixel ultra-wide has a 5 megapixel macro and a 5 megapixel depth sensor. So uh camera is supposed to be perfect on this phone. It comes with the Enos 980 chipsets. Now I do prefer the snapdragon, but this chipset is supposed to be really, really good comparable to the 765 g is what I heard.

So, let's go ahead and see if this phone has any power boot it up, and I'm going to set the phone up guys and as soon as I'm done, setting it up I'll, go ahead and give you my first impressions, alright guys. So, while this phone's checking for updates, I actually bought a case for it. Now I wish Samsung would have put a case in the box for this phone, but unfortunately they didn't- and so, while I do go ahead and set this phone up, I'm going to go ahead and open up a case here and slap a case on it. So I got this case here for four dollars and uh you guys know you got the case on your phone uh, especially if you want to ever sell it. You want to keep it in mint conditions, but all my phones are in excellent condition.

Now this case is really, really good. I actually have the same case for my iPhone and this case actually comes with a screen protector, so this is fantastic. It has the tempered glass, so that's great, so I'm going to go ahead and put that on later, but I'm going to go ahead and slap the case on right now, all right, all right, cool, all right guys. So now it's downloading all this stuff when it's done downloading I'll, go ahead and follow up all right guys, I'm back so here are my first thoughts on this phone uh. The phone's display is gorgeous.

This has a beautiful, beautiful display, guys it's a super AMOLED full HD, plus it's a 1080p uh, it's just beautiful. The colors are vibrant, even with the little hole punch up here. It doesn't really bother me. It's a tiny hole punch now. What you're going to notice the difference between an AMOLED display and an lcd with a hole punch is that the hole punch on an lcd is going to have discoloration around the hole punch.

But when you have a super AMOLED, uh you're not going to see that discoloration. So if you look at the viewing angles on this phone, there's no discoloration, there's no tint! So that's why I love AMOLED. Now LCD is probably going to last you a lot longer than AMOLED, but as far as viewing right now, there's nothing better than looking at an AMOLED display. And another thing is this: phone's lightning, quick! I've been very impressed. It's got the Enos 980 chips in here, and it is super, super quick.

I haven't had any issues no lag now. The only thing I do wish is that they had put a 90 hertz refresh rate, but other than that you still can't really notice um. You can't really. You know some phones, you just notice the refresh rate, but not on this one. Now another thing is they remove the Bixby button, which is good, so you're not going to end up hitting it accidentally.

I hated that on the Samsung s9 plus the Bixby button was just so annoying every time you start pressing. You know button a volume up and down. You start hitting the Bixby button you're not going to have that accidental touch here they got rid of that. So that's fantastic uh. The cameras on this phone are perfect um.

I actually took a photo of a mill carton here. You can see that it's full of detail. The colors are just beautiful, I'm very impressed with this camera guys it's a 48 megapixel shooter. So it's a great camera. It's a great phone.

So far, I'm super impressed with this phone guys. I would definitely recommend it and uh if you can get a good deal on it. You know if you can find this phone for around 300 you'd be getting a great deal. This is a fantastic phone um I got mine on samsung. com ended up trading in my iPhone 8 plus they gave me about 300 for it plus the instant discount that they had on this phone.

I paid 104 plus tax. I feel like I got a major major major uh win in this category, so all in all man, I love this phone guys um, I'm going to go ahead and do an in-depth review uh within the next week, but so far this is a phone. You should definitely consider because it's got the 5g connectivity, even though I haven't used it yet, I'm still on a 4g network but uh it's good to have 5g available and capable so hope.
