Redmi Note 10 5G Gaming Review - Max Settings + 90fps in PUBG

After launching the Redmi Note, 10 variants Xiaomi releases, another addition to that series, and this is the most affordable, 5g smartphone under 10k price point. The Redmi Note, 10 5g is a mid-range device that Xiaomi has to offer if you are eyeing a 5g phone with better efficiency and gaming powered machine, but compared to the non 5g version. That is a little on the entertainment side with its super AMOLED panel. Thus, the 5g variant offers more with its higher refresh rate. My boy manila. This is pope from manilashaker.

com, and this is a review of the Redmi Note.10 5g, the design of the Redmi Note.10 5g is quite different from the NAND 5g variant, but it is much closer to the pro version. However, you can still see the difference in the build between the bigger brother and the device we have. The build is polycarbonate plastic, but it has a great sandblasted, looking texture with a smooth matte finish. It only has a triple cam and the design of the protruding camera module is quite unique and looks premium. However, it wobbles a lot on a flat surface.

The 5g is there besides the Redmi text at the bottom part, so you can easily determine that it is 5g capable up front. It boasts a 6.5 inch, full HD, plus IPS LCD, with 90hz fast refresh rate capability perfect for gaming at a higher fps. The display is sharp and crisp with true to life. Colors and the blacks are quite deep when you turn on dark mode. However, it has a slight contrast shift due to the LCD panel and if you look at the overall aesthetic, the bezels are thicker the selfie camera.

Even the cutout of the screen protector makes the punch hole, cutout, look big as well. This has not been the best display on the Redmi Note 10 series, but it offers a higher refresh rate, which we will see later on if we can use the full potential of its display when gaming, but first, let's see the camera quality of its triple camera setup at the back again, it has a premium. Looking camera module, housing, a triple camera led flash and some text, the 48 megapixel main cam and the 2 megapixel sensor sit inside the silver accent along with the LED flash, while the 2 megapixel macro lens is at the lower part, and they look quite aesthetically pleasing now on to the quality from its main cam. The first thing I notice is that compared to last year's Redmi Note 9 that shoots under exposed shots with deeper blacks in the Redmi Note 10 5g. They fix it by turning down the contrast, a little as you can see the shadow isn't that deep, but it has a contrast look, which sometimes is good enough to the eye.

However, some say that just need to turn on HDR mode to leave some shadows turn down some highlights, and it will output a nice balanced photo with good colors and white balance. And besides the images we took are much sharper this bright and even the dynamic range is just acceptable. The shadows again didn't crash, even if we're behind the light source, you can see a more contrast look when indoors, and it is quite moody. However, it still captures true to life colors, just like on outdoor samples, now capturing low light photos offers a dark image and a bit grainy as well and on night mode, as you can see at some part of the photos. Exposure is not that elevated night mode.

Photography is not that good, but it still outputs a decent photo. Now, since there's no ultrawide heading to the depth sensor, the subject to background separation is quite accurate, but again you can still see the contrast look of the photo making. It loses some depths, but, as you can see, the highlight is not that bad. It has. A halo depot feel that nearly mimics the real lengths of a DSLR now moving on to macro.

I don't think it looks great, but it looks just good with less noise and grains. However, the white balance is off which makes the color turns greenish, but it is sharp and not so gimmicky, even without having an autofocus system. We used to see in the Redmi Note series switching to selfies the 8 megapixel selfie. Camera is quite amusing, but there are two things I noticed about: the output processing. Yes, it is sharp and flattering and the subject to background separation looks good indoors.

However outdoors the accuracy falls apart, and I don't know why- and this good-looking man right here has inconsistent skin tone when beauty mode is turned on and off. I suggest turning on beauty mode, with no drastic enhancement to still look good while maintaining the natural look on your face. Now for the video recording Redmi Note, 10 5g offers 1080p at 30fps only, and it doesn't offer a super steady feature, but it already has electronic stabilization while taking videos for the camera features. It has a wide variety of macro stuff, like macro video and slow motion in macro mode. It also has a movie frame: 48, megapixel high-res photo slow motion and night mode.

Furthermore, it doesn't have some fun and gimmicky features, just the basics in an entry-level device for day-to-day photography now heading to its performance. I was surprised that it has a seven nanometer, 5g chipset MediaTek demand city 700 inside which power 5g mid-range phones. This is quite an impressive processor equipped in a device with a sub 10k price range. However, our device here is the 8 gigabytes variant, which cost 11 490 pesos. As for the software, it runs with the latest android 11, with mini 12 out of the box.

We can still see bloatware's here and there, but the UI is quite smooth, attractive and interactive, but I think it needs some optimization due to the Google News being cropped. As for gaming, it has a pre-installed game, turbo app with performance mode, just like other Redmi phones, and we tried to play 6 games. First, our multiplayer first person shooting game Call of Duty mobile with medium graphics and high frame rates. There is no visible frame drop, and we get an acceptable 54 to 56 fps with 98 stability. The gameplay is smooth with no stuttering and lags while playing battle.

Royale mode, we get 48 to 53 fps with 98 stability. The in-game settings is still the same with medium quality and high frame rates. It is still smooth for us with a little lowered frames, but the satisfaction is always there. The gameplay is good and if you want to hit the 60fps mark make sure to lower the settings to the low or lowest quality. As for PUBG mobile, the game can go up to HD, graphics, plus high frame rates, with ultra frames on both balance and smooth graphics.

For us, we see, no frame drops occurred on all graphics quality settings. The stability is high also, and the frames are the only thing we should consider. If you want 40 fps, then choose smooth and balanced settings, but in order to achieve the sixth fps mark is to use the gfx2. And yes, we did try to bump the settings to extreme frame rates up to 90 fps using the app, but just a quick disclaimer. We don't recommend using the GFX tool as it is in the gray area now back to the game.

The stability is still great, but it lowers over time as the device builds up heat. You may enjoy the smoother animation, but consider lowering your graphics quality to very low to be able to play at stable frames. In short, it is possible to play 90 fps games on this device, and I wish that other games can also be played at 90 fps option. Speaking of wild riff, on the other hand, offers 90 fps. Officially, however, 90hz display option is still grayed out.

We should expect in the coming weeks or months that the game developers enables the 90 fps option in this device, and that would be great right now. We are in default quality with smooth 60fps, and it has a stable graphics and no visible frame drops even at clashes. The League of Legends, while drift is very playable in this device, while mobile legends with much lighter graphics, everything is turned on, including HFR and HD mode. It has ultra settings as well, which is very surprising, as we can play the best of the best experience in mobile legends, and it turns out pretty well. The game plays very smooth with no frame drops even at team files simply said, you can play this game with no problems at all.

Meanwhile, on the 2 mi hobo games, we expected the Genshin Impact to have hiccups, as it is still unstable at higher settings. However, playing at the lowest possible settings we get a nice fps and acceptable stability all the way, but again in this lower mid-range with an entry level price tag. Considering that it is in 1080p resolution, it still offers acceptable performance on its price on Songhai impact 3 with recommended settings in number 3. We receive few minor frame drops and some stuttering here and there, but not to the point that it will going to be frustrating while bumping up the frame rate. It is quite more stable, but with minor frame drops as well at 47 to 53 fps.

As for the battery the large 5 000 William hour battery is a good spec, but it only has 18 watts, quick charging, which we think is one of the aspect that has been deducted for this smartphone to be a 5g capable device and for the results. The device can still give us prolonged use thanks to the 7 nanometer chipset, even with 90hz turned on, however, charging the device took about a lot of time. Overall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note, 10 5g is priced at 9190 pesos for the 4 gigabytes and 128 gigabytes of variant, while the 8 gigabytes and 128 gigabytes variant cost about eleven thousand four hundred. Ninety pesos. If you are eyeing an entry level, future-proof device, the Redmi Note: 10 5g promises faster data connectivity with a gaming prowess that is capable of up to 90 fps gaming.

If every game developer started to adapt above the 60 fps mark under in-game settings, this is going to be a long-term smartphone. The Redmi Note 10 5g, is going to be a hard pick so choose wisely. If you want the cherry on top 5g or some phones with good specs for the price without the 5g. So that is the Redmi Note 105g, which of the Redmi Note 10 series. Would you like to own?
