Redmi 9A Full Review

Guys, we are back for another edition here at Xiaomi review and look what we are taking on today. The Redmi 9a, it's one of the budget series from Xiaomi and this one should put us ready for school opening and online schooling together with this one. The true wireless earbuds, basic s, hi, I'm mitch002 join me as we unbox this two budget friendly school opening ready device. Let's go before anything else guys. I want to promote my next video. It's a comparison of four Redmi Note 9s series featuring the Redmi Note, 9 the Redmi Note, 9s Redmi, note 9 pro and the Redmi Note 9 pro max.

It will be featured on gadget, sidekick, and I'll, be putting some subtitles on it for Xiaomi review. Since this episode will be in Filipino language, don't miss it! So here in our hands, we have the Redmi 9a, it's a very, very budget-friendly version, and I'm really excited to open it right now. The box is very, very simple, similar to those of the note 9 series and the Redmi 9, and well nothing at the back before that. Of course, let's call on my trusty blade: let's go okay, you simply need to slice it on three corners. There you go and we're opening it.

Okay, it's pretty tight. Give me a hard time. Oh, there you go, so the packaging is quite different with that of the nine and the note 9 series. So you have a plain plastic pouch here, and it's covered with a sticker, the Redmi 9a and at the back. This is how it looks like the Redmi 9a before all that, let's just take a peek at what's inside the box, we have the sim ejector tool, we have the warranty card and user manual.

Sorry, no free jelly case on this one. We have your micro, USB, cable and, of course, your 10 watts charger and that's all from the box next thing to do is to peel it off. So this is how we peel it off slowly. Oh there, you go it's off guys. First impression, I'm impressed with this phone, as it is a lot bigger than the Redmi 8a.

That one is quite a bit small with the size of roughly just a little. Above six inchers and this one it has improved a lot over the Redmi 8a. So right now we'll be booting it up upon booting it up. We can see the wallpaper quite similar to that of the apple, the half kidney just kidding and surprising this phone ships with the mini 12. I hope to do a review on the mini 12 pretty soon on this channel.

Don't you miss it now, let's take a quick look around the phone underneath we have the microphone in the micro, USB charging port and your loudspeaker on the one side, there's the power button and your volume rocker? On top, we have the audio jack and no IR and no noise cancellation mic. On the other side, we have the sim tray which can host one micro SD card and two NATO sim at the back. We have single camera lens and, of course, your LED flash. This is a 13 mp shooter and nothing else, plastic back and glass rod. I'm not quite sure what kind of gorilla glass is this, but I'm sure, probably Xiaomi is using gorilla glass on this one.

Maybe gorilla glass 3. Just maybe don't quote me on that and up front: we have a teardrop notch, 5 megapixel selfie camera and that pretty rounds out everything on this phone. Now, let's check it out, swiping left and right, it's pretty, pretty responsive. To be honest, there's nothing to lag about on this phone sporting, a MediaTek, hello g25, it's a very, very basic processor, and I'm quite sure it's not a gaming phone. Now this phone sports, a 6.53 IPS LCD 720p display, which is just ample enough for its price point, taking a look at an tutu. It gave it a score of 88 713 points which is well that's good enough for calls and some basic multitasking breaking it down.

CPU 36 000 points, GPU 12000 memory, 24 000 and UX 15 000. Looking at i22, it gave you the 28 000 points and well I'm not quite sure why the accuracy is zero. I wonder why now this phone sports, a 5, 000, milliampere hours of battery with 10 watts, support hey. Do you know what I plugged this on 65 watts, charger and guess what it charges up to 13 watts based on my watt meter and draining it down to 19 and charging it back up to 100? Just took me two any of ours, not quite bad. Now this one is a stunner, it roughly squeaks out 22 hours of screen on time based on PC bar with the battery of 5000 milliampere hours, and it can last you around 22 hours, pretty impressive.

If you ask me now to be honest with you, I don't believe this is a gaming phone, but well since it's here, let's give it a try, but before that, let's unbox this one, the metro, wireless earbuds basic s. This is the latest TWS from Xiaomi. To be honest with you, this is just a global version of the Redmi air dots s. Now let me run you down with some specs of these earbuds. It can run on single ear.

Then, of course, it can last you up to 12 hours, plus it's Bluetooth, 5.0 already and what's best, it connects to both buds independently now taking it out of the sleeve okay, just open it voil? there you go so sleek, so small and what's nice, it's easy to use right now, we'll pair it with a Redmi 9a and try it on the gaming mode right now we have connected to the earbuds next thing to do. Let's play Call of Duty playing the call of duty. I can tell you: well it's not really that fun to play with this one, and I can feel a lot of flags, a lot of frame drops and well I'm not really that enjoying with this game, and what I can say is that the sound is nice uh. I have. Furthermore, I have yet to lost connection after playing roughly 30 minutes on the call of duty.

Furthermore, I don't feel any lag on this TWS from Xiaomi and yep with its price point. It's really cheap, and it's really, really good. Okay right now, let's watch some movies on YouTube and to be honest with you, I do enjoy watching YouTube on this phone together with the true wireless earbuds basic s, it gives you a good surround sound, of course, not not really the best of it but based on its price point, I can say it's really: budget friendly and what's nice, this is ready for online schooling. So I did try running this on zoom and I got a good connection uh using zoom, and these bugs, to be honest with you sometimes dangling cables. Uh on the phone is sometimes a bit dragging but uh.

Of course the quality would always be better on the wired earphones, but of course everything is wireless. Now I believe this one should be better just my opinion now we're down to one last category, and it's the camera section to be honest with you, a 13 mp, single camera, isn't really that enticing for me, but to some of us whose budget is just enough to buy this phone now, let me show you some pictures that I've taken outdoors to be honest with you. Taking those outdoor shots, ain't really that bad at all. You can see here that the leaves are green, not over saturated but not over beautified, just the right amount. But of course you can see the difference when you compare it with the Redmi Note, 9s and the Redmi Note 9.

It's far, far different some indoor shots in a coffee shop. You can see that these shots are well just the right amount. I cannot say that it's that bad. Nor can I say it's that good, but I can say it's just a right, so, so quality photo taking some selfie, not bad. To be honest with you, it's sharp, but of course it lacks the details that I want to see on a selfie camera.

But since it's 5mp I can tell you it's ok, it's ok! Just and running zoom on this one and Google Hangouts, I can say well. I look pretty decent on zoom using this home. Now guys, I've already tackled almost everything you want to know on this phone, the Redmi, 9a and I'll, be posting the price and where to buy together with this one. The true wireless earbuds basic s. What do you think of this phone comment below and let me know what are your thoughts? Maybe it's good enough for you, or maybe it's not.

Let me know, of course, don't forget to check out switch review and, of course, piney tech that I'm sure they have different take on this phone. I'm not quite sure, if they're happy with this one or not, but for me well with that price point: it's okay, just okay! But for me why I'm happy about this phone is that it has jumped so much from the Redmi 8a, since I have that phone before, and I've reviewed it before. I can say I'm really impressed with this one comparing to the 8a, of course. So with that all said and done, I hope you like this video subscribe and click that bell icon. So you don't miss any of my future content here at Xiaomi review.

So if you like my new setup, my new lighting and my new camera give me a thumbs up. Also, of course, I want to thank my good friends, the gadget gang Harvey angels and, of course, shutter master pro for helping me with these lighting and with this camera. I hope to see you my next video goodbye.
