Redmi 9 Power Unboxing & Hands On (Redmi Note 9 4G)

Hello, everyone welcome to gizmo china, I'm Kiran Xiaomi sub brand Redmi released the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 9 series last week featuring the Redmi Note, 9 4g, the note 95g and the note 9 pro. While these names may sound familiar note that and no pun intended here. They are not the Redmi Note 9 series that you've heard before. In fact, we'd rather call the Redmi Note 9 4g, as the Chinese edition of the Poco m3 and the note 9 pro is more like an upgraded Poco x3 model, but for the note 9 5g, it's really hard to define its position among the Redmi models, and it's also the hardest model to recommend among these three. In our opinion, coming back to the Redmi Note: 9 4g. At first glance, the phone looks very similar to the Poco m3, except for the redesigned back.

It has the same 6 000 milliampere hour battery the same snapdragon 662 chipsets, the same 60hz, 1080p display and so on. However, when we dug a little deeper into the specs, we found that the macro camera on the Poco m3 is replaced by a wide angle lens. All these features confirm the fact that the note 9 4g is a rebranded model of the Poco m3, with a slight adjustment of the camera setups to suit the Chinese market. The 4g model, with 4 gigabytes of ram and 128 roms, officially starts from 152, which shares a similar price tag as the Poco m3. If you are interested in the note, 9's 4g features, you can check out our channel and watch the two recent videos on the Poco m3, where we covered the key specs on the note 9 4g as well.

So in this video we will focus more on its unboxing and the differences as compared to the international model, except for the Redmi branding printed outside the white box. The included accessories of the 4g model are almost the same as what we got on the Poco m3. My the new back cover the Redmi Note.9 4g is also made of one piece plastic, but there's no leather texture, the upper glossy plastic of the m3 model is removed, and the camera setup is also at the same location as the m3. The plastic cover is textured into a brushed metal. Finish but to be honest, we prefer the leather-like texture on the m3's model than this metal finish and the logo is set under the camera module.

It's not a unique design for Redmi and pretty common design, as we've seen on many 2020 models, the front face is also the same as what we've seen on the m3. By the way we saw some complaints below the m3 video, not mentioning the issue of m3's UI fluency. Actually, we thought this issue was quite common for the budget models and the m3 and note 9 are no exception, especially due to the 60hz display. The UI animation effect is not as fluent as what we saw in higher profile models. Do on the Redmi Note, 9 4g, a wide angle lens is added replacing a macro lens.

It seems that the wide angle lens also can be used for shooting macro photos. No more talk, just look at the sample shot on this 8 megapixel wide-angle camera. The other features like dual speakers, headphone jack and the six thousand milliampere hour battery are also reserved for this Redmi model. As for the review of these features, you can check the video of Poco m3. One more detail: that's worth noticing is the included 22.5 watt charger. Although the note 94g only supports up to 18 watt charging efficiency, we found that the Xiaomi generously offers a 22.5 watt charger to users. So that's all we want to share with you about the Chinese version of the Poco m3, I.

e, the Redmi Note 9 4g, irrespective of how good the phones are Xiaomi's naming strategy is often confusing, especially when you look at it from a global perspective. Anyway, if you have any questions about the phone, please leave your comments down below. Also, the review of the note 9 pro the true star of the Redmi Note.9 series is coming soon. Please subscribe to our channel, so you don't miss that video or any of the other ones that are coming out soon. Thanks for watching this is Kieran from gizmo china, and we'll see you again soon.
