Redmi 10X 5G 24 Hour Review - THEY DID IT! By Frankie Tech

Hi guys its Frankie from Frankie Tech good to see you guys again, and I'm here with my initial review after 24 hours of the red meat, 10 X 5 G. Now this phone has been pretty hyped up, but when I first came to this phone, I thought to myself is this just another me 10 light zoom, which I have reviewed before well I'm? Happy to tell you guys that there are enough tweaks to this phone that make it actually a very compelling device, and could this be the first MediaTek chipset phone that I wholeheartedly recommend on the channel? Let's go down the laundry less hair design, display performance, quick, audio test pop G and, let's see for the price of 220 US dollars, base model 1600 yuan. This is the lowest price 5 G phone available on the market is this the phone that finally brings MediaTek to the forefront of best value and mid-range phones? Let's have a look, but before we do that, let's have a look at what is inside the box and, as you can see right here, I got the GB, 128 gigs of storage version. This version is costing 2100 yuan, but the base price is the one that I mentioned here, and that is the one. If you want the real deal for this phone that you should pick up and looking at the box I do like this white. Look, it's not reflective like the red-meat, K 30 Pro box, but we do have high-res audio on this red-meat NO and here's where the sim ejector tool would be, and we have your standard paperwork, and this is where this CPU case came for the red-meat 10x, and you can see when I put it on what it looks like it allows the gorgeous look of this gold back to shine through and pretty standard CPU case for Xiaomi here.

Looking at the bottom, and we have USB c2 USB a cable, and it looks to me: let's see yep. This is pretty much the same 22.5. What fast charger that came in the 10 light zoom, so overall, pretty standard unboxing, maybe not as exciting as the 10, like zoom, which came with all those stickers and that very funny box, but I think for a lot of you guys out there. You will probably prefer this box and this look over that one design, 9 millimeters, thick 200 and five grams, so a pretty similar weight to what we've seen on the other phones that Xiaomi has released, and let's talk about it, this edge is definitely plastic, but guess what guys? It's? A very nice plastic, in fact, because they've elected for this kind of mat feel on the sides. I actually prefer this kind of look over the one on the 10, like zoom.

But how do I know this is plastic, guys, no antenna bands and if you notice, on any of shimmies, actual metallic fellows here's the red meat k, 30 Pro, you will see those bands very subtle, but they are there on their metallic phones. Let's look around this phone on the top. We have an IR blaster and there's the mic hole, volume rocker and this red power button accent which is really nice, glad that they're bringing that over from the red meat KE series at the bottom of us BC here is the speaker and a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, a very welcome sight and the SIM tray here on the left. Side and I picked up this red me 10x in this gorgeous gold color, and it is a really nice translucent, look kind of like the Men 10 light. There's this kind of pearl essence look to it, and it changes in the light- and here you see the back with this rectangular camera module, which is becoming a lot more common with shimmies recent phones and I, like that, we see red me and nothing else of nice clean, look here on the back and looking at the front, and I'm not sure if it's an optical illusion, but the bottom bezel seems smaller to me than the one on the 10 light zoom, but it definitely is still quite a bit larger than the one we see on the red meat, K, 30, Pro and same goes for the top.

As you can see here, there is a notch, but it's not too bad. I'd rather have this type of notch, then a double punch hole even, but obviously it doesn't compare to the beautiful notch. Less punch, holds, look of this red-meat k, 30 pro- and a number of you have mentioned that the curves here on this phone are a little larger than you would like. I think. Maybe it's something about lower-cost AMOLED panels.

They end up having this I. Remember MHD mentioned this in a video as well, and that is a small nitpick, but yeah I do wish. There was a more squared-off look to these sides of this phone, but overall for design. I think this is about as good of a phone as you could have, that is made of plastic and honestly, yes, I, don't have that cold metallic feel, but it is really a nicely designed. Phone and sham is doing a really great job.

With this red-meat NO series in terms of design display six point: five, seven inches, AMOLED 20 by nine aspect ratio and just like the taillight zoom, this phone has HDR 10, plus with 600 nits of typical brightness. Here and just like the 10 light, zoom Xiaomi has put a really nice panel on this phone. The colors are very nice, and the white point is definitely accurate, but you're going to want to keep it on auto. If you want that to be the case, I typically switch to saturate it to make the colors pop even more and viewing angles are also perfect. There's a little of rain blowing effect you see, but it's not too significant on this phone now it is limited to 60 Hertz, but that seems to be the standard right now with shimmies lower-cost AMOLED panels and to me, it's a non-issue, and so just like the meets' headlight zoom Xiaomi has put a really great panel in this red-meat 10x, and it is one of the highlights of using this phone and here's YouTube playback on the red-meat 10x and, as you can see right there, the bezels.

Yes, they are a little more significant, but I don't mind it at this price point. It is still an immersive viewing experience, and it reminds me of what we see on phones like the Realme x2 Pro and the OnePlus 70 good viewing angles, and the audio experience is pretty good as well, and look it's not reaching the level of the Redmi K, 30 Pro, but I. Think for your general content. Consumption needs this red-meat. No does a great job, but there was one thing that I checked yesterday and I shared with you.

Now that just blew my mind- and here it is l1 security level for Wide vine CDM on this read me: 10x, 5g I. Think that means that at 1600 RMB this is the lowest cost China version of a phone that has come with this designation, incredible, shiny, I have to applaud that that is a really amazing thing to include here, which means you'll have HD Netflix on this red-meat NO out of the box and talking about performance. This is one of the most exciting sections here, we're talking about. Add immensity 8:20, this obviously being the 8gb version, but the 6 GB is also running DVR, 4x RAM and here you can see the scores, and these are solid, if not pretty amazing scores considering the price of this phone, but you can see here we're just shy of some 855 plus scores here on Geek bench, but even more amazing than that the an tutu scores of the Redmi 10 x5 g over 400,000. This was the first time I tested it, and yes, I've heard of this media tech using a Forte's Mon to try to boost their scores, but the reality is or the price.

Even if this was at three hundred thousand, it would be an amazing score. The fact that we're past 400,000 on this 220 US dollar base price phone is astounding, but it's not just that guys. There is a noticeable difference in performance that I have felt using this phone over the 10, like zoom. This is just a very zippy device, and it's really hard to show that over video, but I can tell you upon initial experiences of this phone. That was my kind of lasting impression.

I was just like wow. This phone is really zippy and that extends to the keyboard experience as well, there's just a responsiveness that I'm getting from using this phone that I didn't get on the meets Hannah like zoom. So maybe it's optimization. Maybe it's something else, but I think it could also be the fact that this media tech, demesne ET 820 chipset, is legit, and it's allowing for a terrific experience here on me, UI 11, on the red-meat 10x and talking about batteries. We have a four thousand five hundred twenty mill ampere capacity and fast charging up to twenty-two point: five watts and just like the 10 light, zoom I think this phone is gonna, do a solid job, but it even better is that phone with a larger capacity and with a 1080p display resolution and a slightly smaller display than the red-meat K 30 Pro I think this phone is gonna, have terrific battery life and stay tuned for my full results and testing very soon, and a quick mention of the fingerprint scanner and vibration motor and the fingerprint scanner is similar to the 10 light zoom or me 10, youth 5g.

It is fast guys, it is superfast, and I think it might be even a little tear faster than that phone now. Vibration, motor I will say is also a pleasant surprise. The vibration motor isn't the best, but it is I feel a step above what we've seen on previous Xiaomi phones in this price range. It's not as harsh, and it's just got that nice subtle, feel it's not to the level of cover like a 10 pro, but I feel it is definitely a step above any of the other phones, I've tested in this price range, and it's time for the audio speaker test single bottom firing. Speaker on this red-meat, NO I'm going to bring the mic down.

Let's have a listen. What can I say just like the 10 like zoom, this read me: 10x is punching above its weight in terms of this audio speaker test very clear, sound and a decent bass. Overall, it's not the loudest speaker, you'll, hear on a phone and I still think they're Redmi, k, 30 pro and me 10, Pro, Series phones are definitely a lot better, but when it comes to just a general overall experience, this gets loud enough and I. Think you're going to enjoy the audio experience on this red-meat, 10x Fuji and talking about the cameras, and this is where we might think that this red-meat NO 5g will falter because, just like the 10 light zoom, this red-meat NO 5g is using the OFNI vision, 48 B sensor in its 48 megapixel camera. We also have an 8 megapixel ultra-wide and a 2 megapixel depth sensor, and that's right guys triple cameras on this 5 G version.

The pro is the one that has quad cameras, but in the place of that fourth camera here we see the flash and, as you can see, the shutter is plenty fast on this red-meat NO 5 g sold result in daylight for this camera, 16 megapixel selfie camera, and we have 4k 30fps max video shooting on this phone, and so you would think this is gonna, be the same story as the 10 likes in which I was not really impressed with in terms of cameras, but last night this phone was doing a lot better than I expected. Have a look at these shots and let me know what you think in the comments and here's 4k 30fps video on the bread me 10x 5g fairly overcast day, but the Sun peeks through from time to time you can see the movement of the cars looks pretty good about to get me up in the comments. Let's see how it sounds trying to give this phone kind of a shot here of what it would be like if I use this for our Frank tech, quick, takes and stuff like that, but hit me up in the comments. Overall impressions of the camera are actually not bad and in daylight the OFNI vision sensor still does a solid job, but it was in a lower light that this phone actually produced more pleasing results.

So it really could have been optimizations. It could have been a number of factors on that other phone, but I will tell you this read me.10X is a capable shooter and in my experience the camera doesn't fall flat as much as we saw on the 10 like zoom, and here we go wrapping up with compo G on the red-meat 10x and a number of you guys have requested it. So from now on, I will be playing at smooth extreme settings on these phones. It's a lot smoother and experience. But if you did want to go HDR, you can at least play HDR ultra on this phone as well, but let's go ahead and do smooth extreme, enable anti-aliasing, and I'll disable auto, adjust, graphics, okay and let's get started.

But it's time it's time for the classic, Frankie Tech swim test, just keep swimming, just keep swimming whoa and just keep swimming to my new patrons. Thank you. So much for your support. Let's get down to the surface, get some guns get some action, and I've got some guns now, but I definitely need to get some more. A flare gun is not going to do it and there's a lot of action happening here. Oh boy, okay, let's get some guns, we can get some action, and I'm surrounded here by a number of my teammates, so they have taken quite a number of the kills that I was trying to get just now. There is take that oh, and I'm out of ammo, and he just took another kill. So this is like the ultimate stealing my kills' gameplay here, thanks buddy for nothing, and I am definitely feeling a bit of warmth here on the read me 10x, but that is extreme settings for you, and you can see it here.

Playing at 60fps I can definitely see why you like playing at these settings and I see someone coming. Oh boy, oh gosh, I was knocked out. Oh, man and this gameplay is not going well guys, which always seems to be the case when I'm doing this live before the channel. So go ahead and kill me: well there you go guys. That is the bitter end for this gameplay on the read me 10x, but I did play earlier today on this phone and let me go ahead and show you some of those highlights right here.

So you can see that when I'm not filming for the channel, I actually have some decent matches here on pop G. But how is this phone feeling overall just like earlier today now in this room? It is hot I, don't have the air on, but it is getting pretty warm I would say, but it's not an extreme warmth. It's still handling very well and in the earlier gameplay I played for almost 45 minutes, and it was such a fun time and if you have the air on in your room, I don't think you'll have a problem with this phone will not overheat as much as it's doing right now. So, overall, a solid pop G experience on this red-meat, 10x I think you're going to love the experience. So that's it for this video and my final initial verdict.

An initial verdict on this red meat, NO I, think Jeremy nailed it guys. I did not imagine that I would enjoy the experience of a phone with a media tech, women city chipset, more than I did with the snapdragon 765. But that's exactly the experience I'm having here on this red-meat 10x. It just feels like a more polished device overall compared to the meeting like zoom and who would have known that the performance experience was gonna, be even more zippy than on the much-touted snapdragon 765, and this just proves to me that MediaTek is here. They have arrived, and they have arrived in this red meat NO, the lowest cost 5g on the market is also one of the best performing phones in its price segment and for the first time ever, I can highly recommend.

Add immensity MediaTek chipset phone to all of you. Beyond that. The design is gorgeous. It's probably one of the best built plastic phones that I have used Trip experience, solid speakers gorgeous display guys there's so much to love about this phone and if you pick up the base model, you're going to be getting one of the best deals of any phone in any price segment in 2020, but hit me up in the comments.
