Realme 8 Pro Unboxing & First Look: 108MP Primary Camera under Rs. 20,000

Hello everyone and welcome to gadgets 360. Today I have with me the brand new realm 8 pro now. This is the successor of the Realme 7 pro, but there is a major change this time and that is the megapixel primary camera. But a lot of the other specs are quite similar. So let's go ahead and unbox this device and take our first look by the way. If you're new here be sure you are subscribed to the gadget360 YouTube channel and click on the bell icon so that you are notified whenever we upload a new video.

So this is what the box of the realm 8 pro looks like typical, yellow box that you get with me. It does mention a few key specifications on it, so 108 megapixel camera setup. So the sensor is the highlight here: you get 50 watt super dart charge, gets a 6.4 inch, AMOLED display of 4500 William hour battery and a Qualcomm snapdragon 720 g, so without waiting any further, let's go ahead and unbox this device a small case in the box quickly. Keep that aside. We've got the phone itself, so this is the infinite blue, color, there's also infinite white, and I think I'm illuminating, yellow color quickly power it on keep it aside.

So this is the super dart charger and what has happened is quite the opposite. This is the 65 watt charger that you get in the box, but the device is only capable of 50 watt fast charging you've got an USB type, a and an USB type-c port, with yellow inserts. It's typical of a real smartphone. There keep all of this aside and let's take a look at the phone now and see it. It has an in display fingerprint scanner.

There's some personalization options available. It kind of reminds me of OnePlus over here, customize icon packs. So now that we have set the device up, let's talk you through all the specifications of the device. So at the front it's got a 6.4 inch. Super AMOLED display uh, it's full HD, plus resolution.

There's no higher refresh rate here the device is quite light and uh. You know if you also see it on the side. It's quite slim, and this is down to the fact that it has a 4500 William hour battery the power and the volume buttons are to the right, and these are convenient to hit. As you can see, it's got an in-display fingerprint scanner, so I can unlock it, and it's very quick to unlock now. The highlight of this particular smartphone is at the back.

So it's got a quad camera setup here with a 108 megapixel primary camera and 8 megapixels, ultra-wide angle, lens, a 2 megapixel micro camera and a 2 megapixel black and white lens. So that is what the quad camera setup comprises and, as you can see, it's a two-step design. So I get it a little closer, and this is real me's a day-to-day tagline on this infinite blue color variant that I have with me. So in terms of the UI, you do get real me, UI 2.0, which is based on top of android 11. So, let's take a look as you can see, this is android 11.

That is what you get out of the box and in terms of the security patch it has the Feb security patch quickly check. If there is an update- and it looks like there is so real me- UI 2.0 update- and this brings a couple of more changes, something that I will update while rather before I start reviewing this device now in terms of the selfie camera. You've got a 16, megapixel, in-display selfie camera over here, so you've got a punch hole with the selfie camera here at the top. You've only got a secondary microphone. There's nothing else here, but at the bottom, it's fairly crowded, so you've got the 3.5 mm headphone jack, the type-c port primary microphone, and this loudspeaker right in terms of the processor. You get a Qualcomm snapdragon, 720 g soc powering it, and there are two variants with respect to ram.

So you get a 6 GB ram variant and an 8 GB ram variant. That is the one that I have here: 8 GB of ram and in terms of storage, you only get 1 that is 128 GB of storage and for those curious, this phone weighs about 176 grams. So it is fairly light, and that is what makes it very comfortable to hold as well. It's a good break from phones that have become heavy and bulky, and it's mainly down to the bigger battery that they pack. But I think, since this has 50 watt fast charging, it shouldn't be an issue, but I am curious to see how well the battery lasts on this particular device.

So, as you can see in terms of the software that the device has its does come with, a few apps pre-installed you've got Facebook, google apps. It's also got a few of realm apps and Snapchat as well. So I think you can go ahead and uninstall this. You can go ahead and uninstall that. So it's a good thing.

If you don't like bloatware on the device, the UI is fairly clean and easy to use minus one screen as a lot of people call. It is the Google Assistant itself, so you will be able to check out all the newest new stories right here. So if you have been eyeing the realm 8 pro and want to get it well, you'll need to stay tuned for the full review, so stay tuned to guys 360 for that, if you're not subscribed, now is the right time to do it so that you don't miss this review, and that was a quick unboxing and a first look at the realm 8 pro and the pricing. Well, that's in the description so do check it out and let me know your comments in the section down below and as always for all things tech stay tuned to gadgets360. com.
