Razer Phone 2 - Unboxing

Hey guys welcome to tech, chef, I'm TJ, and today we will be looking at the razor phone. ? razor is synonymous with gaming peripherals and as you've guessed. It thus is a gaming orientated phone with specs to match the device arrives in this matte black box with the Racer logo embossed on the front of the box, the left and right have the text razor. The top is blank, and the bottom of the box lists its contents. You can possibly this. Let's get this opened.

There is a pull tab on the side that magnetically disengages to reveal the phone anti. First up, you are greeted with the text flagship gaming on the left of the box and Alyssa from the CEO. You can pause and read it here is the phone. Let's come back to this flipping the tab over reveals a slipcover. Here we have the SIM card removal tool and how to use it as well as how to set up the phone on the reverse side.

The phone does allow you to expand the storage via micros card slot. This booklet lists its content. You can pause rate it race. It did include some stickers. Yeah, is the travel charger with a USB type-c port.

The box does include a USB type-c to a headphone adapter here is the USB type-c to type C private cable, and you have to appreciate the incredible detail. Just look at the green accents in the USB. Finally, here is the Beast itself. This video does not do it justice. It is a massive phone which is only further emphasized by the squared of corners.

The phone has a gorgeous glass back all in black. Well, that's a tongue twister, the RIA cameras comprised off a 12 megapixel, wide-angle, 12, megapixel, telephoto lens would chew of LED flash. The back also has a subtle, but not so subtle, Racer logo. More on that later, yes, the phone is a fingerprint of magnets on the front. You have an 8 megapixel camera and the sensor array.

One cool feature is the stereo speakers on the bottom. You have the USB type-c port on the right. You have the power button and fingerprint reader on the left. Furthermore, you have the SIM card and memory card slots, as well as the volume buttons. The specs of the phone include a for chrome, Snapdragon, 805, CPU, eight gigs of RAM 64, gigs of internal storage, a micro SD card slot, ip67 rating for Watson dust resistant, any 4000 million pairs battery 5.2 7 inch LCD with a 120 Hertz display. Taking a look at the screen.

This is its max brightness colors looked right and perfect. You may be asking yourself at this point TJ why this phone, why this phone over the Samsung's wall, ways or iPhones and my reply to you would be 120. This phone has a 120 Hertz display. What this means is. The stream panel is able to refresh the content being displayed at a much higher rate than the stand phones out there.

You probably will not see a difference from this video. This is something you need to experience in person, but take, for example, scrolling through a web page or general use it on the phone, and it makes it a much more enjoyable experience. Everything is more fluid and smoother. It feels very responsive, and now you're, probably asking yourself TJ if this is so awesome, but on all phones implement this well. One downside to this would be battery life.

Razor did think about this and allows you to select, which refresh rate you would like. The phone is set out-of-the-box at ninety Hertz, but you can choose 60 or 120 watts. Next, let's take a look at this RGB implementation. This is managed by accessing the chroma in the settings menu. There are multiple options here, such as changing the brightness of the LEDs, selecting a single static, color, choosing an effect or completely turning it off.

This isn't just a Garrick as you can set the LEDs for notifications. The size of this device is something to consider and with the square edges it makes the phone feel even larger, but also want minimal bezels look away. This is not the phone for you, but would all that set I like this one? It has a good feel the screen is super responsive and the chroma is not just for show personally I. Think regardless, if you play games or not, it is a good phone for even general day-to-day use. The size of the device can and will be overlooked by some, as it includes stereo speakers guys.

Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed. The video shout out to my friends at Leo, Tariq PCs, sending over the studio sample I will leave their links in the description, go and check them out. Please like share subscribe, and, let me know in the comments below, would you choose a slightly larger phone for a headphone jack? First, a smaller one, without it.
