Apple Watch Series 6 vs SE vs Series 3 Don't Make This Mistake!

Literally on my wrist, I have every single Apple Watch: that's currently available in the market to be purchased brand new. So I have my series 6, which is in that new midnight blue color option and can also be purchased in the new aluminum product red color. I have the series SE which fun fact it can also be owned in the Nike edition, and then you also have the choice to purchase a brand-new series 3, which was released back in 2017 and the ship set inside. The series 3 is about three generations older compared to these latest ones, and so honestly, Apple made it very confusing when choosing between a brand-new Apple Watch for this year. But don't worry, I have you covered in this video. We're going to go ahead and compare all three of them to help.

You conclude and decide which Apple Watch is really the best one for you. This is gonna, be a real, in-depth review, buyer's guide on all the available apple watches. There is to choose from so for anybody looking to purchase an Apple Watch for the first time, or maybe you're upgrading from an older model, I'm going to go ahead and cover everything from a to z. Let's begin so, the series 3 starts at 199 during its release. It was available in these material choices to choose from.

You can find these, I'm pretty sure, one bay selling for a lot cheaper. But if you like to buy a brand-new aluminum is the only choice you have in these color choices. The series SE has already covered can be purchased in the standard SE or the SE Nike version. The Nike version only comes in silver and space gray. Meanwhile, the standard one can be purchased in gold, aluminum and space gray.

The series 6 can be purchased in aluminum, stainless steel and titanium now apple watches. In my personal opinion, after trying fit bits, the Samsung Galaxy ware watch series and other fitness trackers like fossil smartwatch when it comes to the ultimate fitness, trackers apple watches are the best one available in the market, they're so easy to operate. They offer a lot of features and that square triangular look basically grew on us heck. Even third-party competitors are now trying to compete by using that same blocky style, which fun fact during the early days, a lot of people used to criticize apple for using a square design. Well now these third-party competitors are trying to copy that this brand is a fine example, but there's a couple issues.

I have once a series three, it's the oldest of the three. This thing got released back in 2017, which means its internal hardware. It's kind of outdated internal storage capacity is very limited compared to these two other apple watches, which have a storage capacity of 32 gigs other outdated stuff. Is that the OS, even though it does have some main important features, but it lacks some of those awesome. New watch faces added for watch list 7.

This is cost because the old outdated, smaller display, which is another con about the series 3 that really does need to be talked about, since it shares an older design. Yes, there is still accessories available for it, but all the new stuff third-party manufacturers are no longer producing for the series 3. They're moving on and producing it for the series, 4, 5, 6 and, of course, the s e as the s e body design is 100, identical in dimensions and everything that even those other accessories that you have available. If you're coming from a series, 4 will fit the SE Apple Watch and the new series 6 without any issues so for the series 3, since it does start brand new for 199 80 more will give you a latest and greatest modern, looking Apple Watch. If you go ahead and get the SE and yes, a seller option is available for all three of these smartwatches.

Believe it or not, and the funny thing is about the Apple Watch. Se, if you get the cellular version, it's only fifty dollars more from its 280 dollars, starting price point for the base model, which fun fact it still is a lot cheaper than the standard base model of the series six, so the SE is literally right there in the middle. Now, all three of these apple watches their displays get extremely bright, especially when you look at it in direct sunlight. So it's really easy to see the display even outdoors and then not only that. Yes, the series 3 does have all the important fitness tracking abilities.

It's able to track your steps, your calorie burns. You have all the awesome series support as well as launch websites and all that jazz from your Apple Watch, but I think the series 3 it's literally on its last leg in terms of future software support, which is why I don't think that series 3 is really worth it unless you find an incredible deal, maybe like a hundred dollars at most. That would be the most I'll pay for a series three in 2020. Besides that, I could definitely see that this s e to become on sale in a lot more retail stores, especially in Costco what they usually do annually. They usually discount the latest Apple Watch, if you're, a Costco member, but I'm pretty sure best buy and later on, Amazon will soon have some really incredible deals for both of this modern day.

Smartwatches and also keep in mind fall. Detection is not available on the series.3, that's only available on the series 6 and s e. Now in terms of speed and performance, the series 3 takes the longest to boot. Up then, surprisingly, the SE and the series 6 are almost neck and neck, even though the SE is using last year, powerful chipset that was found in the series 5. Now in terms of overall performance.

Surprisingly, these two smartwatches are almost identical when it comes to performance. Where was the series 3 just a couple of seconds behind, even on the latest version of watch list? 7, it wasn't enough to perform as identical to these two latest apple watches, now, speaker, quality and my quality. All of them will get the job done, although I do personally prefer the speaker quality found inside the series 6 and the SE. So with that said, I would strongly advise to possibly not consider getting the series 3. Unless, again, you find an incredible deal on it now.

Moving along the series, 6 and the SE are both incredible smartwatches as they support Apple Pay. They have the noise decibel reader, which will notify you if you leave it, enabled, if you've been exposed to some high decibel levels for a good amount of time, that's known to cause some hearing damage both of these two offer the hand wash timer that will automatically go on as soon as the watch detects that you're watching your hands based off the movement and sound fall. Detection again is equipped on both of these. So in case you happen to accidentally fall down, and you're left unconscious. These two apple watches are smart enough to detect that and will automatically get a hold of emergency dispatchers, as well as contact those that you have selected as your emergency contact with your pin, exact location.

All of them are able to achieve an all-day battery life without any issues and since they're all on watch OS 7. They have the sleep mode function where you can monitor and log your sleep, the series SE and the 6 both are using the second generation heart rate monitoring sensors, which do a fantastic job in monitoring your heart rate throughout the day and give you a rough estimate, how many calories you have burned, auto workout detection is also a feature that all three of these have and works extremely well, especially when it comes to detecting the correct exercise that you're doing and will remind you if you want to log that exercise. A built-in GPS is found on all three of these, but I do prefer the larger display found on the SE and the series six reading text is a lot more pleasant to read from these two displays, then other important factors to really consider when it comes to choosing between these two are very likely to receive more future updates, as the series 3 and once again, it's like on its last leg. In my opinion, now again, the SE is right in the middle. It has the important safety features for the majority of people, as it does have a built-in heart rate sensor.

Again it has default detection, it doesn't offer a blood oxygen sensor, nor does it have the ECG capabilities and even though the SE shares the same display technology, that's found on the series six. Unfortunately, it's software lock, where the always on display isn't available on the SE. But besides that, these two apple watches are 100 identical besides its internal ship, as it's using last year's series 5 ship inside the SE, which in my opinion, performs very well then, with the series 6, it's said to have a 20 increase in performance compared to the s5 chip, but from real world experience. It's only like a couple, milliseconds faster, not so much that will actually blow my mind in terms of its performance when comparing the two side by side. But if you're looking for a more premium Apple Watch, the series 6 does offer again different materials for your chassis, aluminum and stainless steel.

So, if you're into the high premium stuff, I guess that's a good reason to go for the series 6, or maybe you really do like the new midnight blue or the product red color choice to choose from now. If you have a series, 4 or series 5, there's very few reasons why you want to make the transition to these newer generation apple watches, because, as we tested in the past in this video in case, you haven't watched it. Yet don't worry, updated version is coming out soon, so make sure you are subscribed. But in that test we test every generation Apple Watch, and we came to the conclusion that the series 4 and the series 5 performed identical. So if you have a series, 4 or series 5, there really isn't a reason to upgrade.

In fact, if you're on the series 4- and you want that- always on display hardware- you might be better off selling your series 4 and looking for a used one or one that has been heavily discounted in a retail store. Now that the series 6 is released to replace it, that's a good way to get the always on display LPO hardware, but now, if you're, considering upgrading from a series zero all the way to like a series three, I would definitely consider picking up one of this latest generation. Newer model apple watches it doesn't have to be one of these two you'll be perfectly fine with the series 4 and the series 5, like I mentioned, with the series 5. If you find a good deal on the series, 5 you're going to take advantage of that cool, always on display hardware. But again it's not really necessary, as we survived just fine, even with our older generation apple watches, at that time that they even offer this feature.

So in other words, you can't go wrong with either of these. But if you do like that, ECG hardware technology- if you happen to be like me, who just enjoys collecting as much data of yourself as much as possible, then maybe having an ECG or a blood oxygen monitoring sensor- may be a huge pro for you, especially if you're known to have health complications. One thing I enjoy a lot about the blood oxygen sensor is that, just like the heart rate sensor, you'll randomly begin measuring throughout your entire day, without you even noticing, and we'll log in that information on the health app on your iPhone, or you can look at it by simply launching the app it will tell you the last time it randomly took your measurement down here now for series 5 owners. I really don't see a lot of reasons to upgrade to the series 6 unless you are worried about your blood oxygen level or once again, you really do like those new color choices to choose from. You might be able to sell your series 5 online or something and spend a little more to upgrade to the latest generation.

Now the bottom side of these three apple watches. This is how it basically looks like the series.3 is again it's using the first generation heart rate sensor, which is why it looks so different compared to these two and then the SE, since it doesn't have an ECG, it doesn't have this cool Iron Man ring around the heart rate sensor. The series 6 has additional sensors because these low lights, it's what's used to measure your blood oxygen levels, but that's basically my conclusion about these three apple watches, that's available to be purchased brand new, still in Apple's website or other retail stores. If you were to ask me personally, if you never owned an Apple Watch before, and you don't really want to spend that much, the watch of choice for me would probably be the SE and would be the one that I would personally recommend to friends and family. Now we all have different backgrounds.

So if you have a medical history, and you want to be able to constantly check your blood oxygen levels again, this is not medical grade standard, but will give you an estimate and a general idea of your current health condition, which can help in monitoring your overall health yeah by all means. The series 6 is absolutely amazing, then, as for the series, 3 don't get the series 3. This thing is ancient. Now, I'm pretty confident that apple has it on his last leg. Well, I hope you guys enjoyed that was a quick comparison against the three available apple watches in the market.
