POCO X3 vs OnePlus Nord Camera Comparison | I Wasn't Expecting THIS! | Guiding Tech

Hey guys how's it going now it's safe to say that the Poco x3 is one of the most talked about products in recent times, which is quite fair because the device is actually that good. However, a lot of you guys have been asking me: how does the device perform and especially, how does the camera perform so well, I decided to put it up against another of the most overhyped. Well, not overhyped, but one of the most talked about devices right now, which is the OnePlus note. Well, this is one from guiding tech, and you're watching my in-depth camera comparison of the Poco x-ray. For the OnePlus note, let's get started, kicking things off in the daylight segment. You can see that both the shots offer perfect results.

Now, while OnePlus goes for a more natural tone, Poco well in pure Poco fashion goes for a tad bit of saturation here. That's it! The noteworthy point here is the fact that the level of saturation here is quite controlled. I mean the Poco x2 used to over saturate images quite a lot, whereas the x3 has things pretty much in control and add on to the appealing factor. Now the story remains the same in this next shot, where Poco has very slight saturations of the red and a slight boost in terms of the contrast. However, the critical part here is that the pixel binning of the 64 megapixel sensor helps in pushing out a sharper and crisper image.

Now, of course, OnePlus still has a better HDR, and it balances out everything evenly, but polo's focus on the primary subject. Well, it makes a more preferable shot in my opinion. Now. The idea of contrast continues in this next shot, where Poco goes for a darker contrast and boosted reds, while OnePlus shot is more natural and wrong. Personally, if I was to manually edit my images- which I usually do, I would prefer the OnePlus words shot here, but I can totally see why most casual users would opt for the Poco x3.

So while far, Poco has been gaining the points. The OnePlus note gets the credit when it comes to HDR processing the node, easily outsides, the Poco x3 when it comes to maintaining the natural color profile, while also highlighting both the subject and the background evenly, and thus the compromise on the details whatsoever. The word's HDR shot is not only color, accurate and easy to edit, but is also more appealing right out of the box without having to do any sort of modifications. Lastly, to get a full idea of the levels of saturation offered. Well, we have this orange flower here the Poco x3 sticks to its roots and well, if you give it a surrounding like this, it will go for a very warm and saturated image.

Yes, it's still a little toned down as compared to the Poco x2, but even then you can tell that the image is saturated, something that is not the case with the OnePlus note and well, I personally, like the notes, shot here now, it's safe to say that some of you guys might not agree with my analysis and that's fine, which is why we at guiding tech never push out just random opinions. In fact, we provide a direct download link to all the images straight from the phone, and you can download them easily in the full resolution and do a thorough analysis of your own. The comment section is yours: do your analysis and comment down below whether you agree with me or not? We at guiding tech never do any sort of paid reviews or comparisons. So yeah, whatever I'm talking right now, is my analysis of my usage of the shots that I personally took so yeah, obviously you're free to judge on your own. So once again just go ahead.

Download images as per your liking, do a thorough analysis and feel free to. Let me know what you guys think of all these shots now moving on to the normal and ultra white sensor, let's take a look at the primary shot. The story remains the same. What we've seen so far that Poco goes for a warmer and saturated tone, while the word goes for a more neutral, color tone switch to the ultrawide sensor, and the story is pretty much the same in terms of the color profile and that is easily highlighted by the way. Well, both the phones treat the skies.

The sky gets a warmer tint, while the colors are neutral on the OnePlus 9. , that's it. I think I would personally pick the poke XD as the winner here, and the reason for that is purely just the detailing. If you zoom into the bushes you'll notice that polo's over sharpening is much more refined, while OnePlus is still struggling a bit now. Moving on to human subjects, the story gets even better.

Well, that is, if you're, a poker user first off OnePlus portrait shots are a little zoomed in, but apart from that, OnePlus not struggles from the same issue that every one plus device struggles with the moment. You have a face as your subject there's a very weird reddish tint on the images now this is easily highlighted by the color of my t-shirt, which is well actually black, but the word renders it as a dark faded purple the Poco x3 shot, on the other hand, is sharp crisp and very likable. In fact, I might just use this as my new DP. I really like this shot now, with the portrait mode turned on the color profile on both the shots is the same. The edge detection on both the phones is at power, but the sharpness of the Poco shot in itself makes the subject stand out a bit better, which makes it appear like a better shot.

Also, it's worth highlighting that the x3 was able to handle the lens flare ring much better than the OnePlus note. So there's that, but then again that's a very restricted use case and your mileage may vary. So I'm not going to like push out for this and say that Poco is better or something and OnePlus not struggles or something but yeah in this very specific shot. This was the result that we got now moving on to real video. Well, this was quite surprising.

Take a look hey guys, so I'm recording 1080p 30fps footage with the OnePlus note on my left and the Poco x3 on my right uh. Both the phones have their super steady and stability mode, whatever they want to call it whatever tech jogging, they want to use it whatever those modes are, they are turned on I'm walking around in the park and in terms of stabilization. Ah, oh dude, I have to say, while panning the camera around Poco feels really stable, uh. Okay, this is astounding. I was expecting the word to win this one, but polo's footage seems way more crisp.

Okay. Now this is really, really good. Obviously, once I see this on my desk, things could be different, but right from what I'm shooting right now, apart from the colors focus, footage seems to be doing. Focus footage seems to be at a better level as compared to the OnePlus note quite interesting, but let's see what the final results will show later on now, it's safe to say that polo's as shot looks surprisingly more stable than one plus word's oi shot, which I know sounds weird, but well that's just what it was. In fact to me, it personally looks like someone took one plus's shot applied a warp stabilizer on it using final cut pro premiere something like that, and then the output is what you get with the Poco x3.

But what impresses me is the fact that well, the result that you got on the poke x3 is something that you would see in real time, while recording the video. Now, of course, it is well when you're recording something like that. It gives off a very fake kind of feel, because you know that the camera movement is well, it's software implemented, and you can see the fairness whenever I'm panning the surrounding camera'll notice that there are some jokes well which are natural on the OnePlus short, but look, unnatural and fake on the poke x3. So I mean that is something that I leave to the normal user's perception for the average Joe. I think a lot of users will prefer the overall result that the Poco x3 offers, and it makes sense because well not a lot of you guys- are going to spend a lot of time tuning the videos and, if you're, getting a result like that right out of the box, sure just go for it now.

Moving on to the selfie camera. Well, remember that reddish tint I spoke of well this time is the Poco x3 that suffers from it. The tint is easily visible. On my face, my t-shirt, even my hair, in terms of sharpness, both are pretty crisp, though I feel Poco shot, has a tad bit of extra over sharpening, but that's not a big concern. Switch to the portrait mode and the edge detection is once again at power, see both the phones have a fake smoothing effect around the edges and that really eliminates the illusion of it being a natural portrait, and you can easily see that this is a softer process image.

So, there's that now moving on to selfie videos, both the phones perform very well and well. Once again, you take a look for yourself all right now, I'm recording 1080p 30fps uh footage from both one plus not which is on my left and the poke extra, which is on my right. This is a selfie footage at 10 to 30, fps and uh right off the bat I feel one plus is doing a better job right here, because the camera is a little off centered, so it's going to be a little tough to basically place them both together at an angle. In the background, you can see supra trying to record another uh like taking some more camera samples from another video. But anyway, let's just move on to this video and talk about this one uh 740 seems fine in terms of HDR processing.

Also, if you look at the trees behind me, I think the top leaves are better illuminated. At least they are focused and not blown like see in the polo. The shot is still visible, while in the one process shot, the leaves are getting blown away, and I think that's the story that carries forward the HDR processing on the OnePlus word. It's not that good OnePlus is focusing primarily on my face, while Poco is focusing on both subjects, meaning and the background, but I'm just going to tap on my face to see if it makes any difference now. I think on the screen now and uh seemingly zero effect, but uh overall, I feel yeah.

The coco is doing a much better job once again, interesting, but obviously I'll see it on my desk again to see which camera performs better. Next up, we have low light shots now in the normal mode. Both the phones perform equally well, though, the x3 has a lot of noise here, while the noise shot is much more refined turn on the night mode and OnePlus's nights cape is doing a far better job than Pok?mon. Now, in this next shot, you'll notice that OnePlus allows for more light to seep in even in the normal mode. If you especially notice, the tree leaves turn on the night mode and the shot is just so well refined and crisp if you zoom into those leaves you'll see, Poco shot is very blurry, while OnePlus has a very, very crisp and neat shot.

Lastly, we have low light selfies and in the normal mode the poke x3 looks ever so slightly brighter, but it also has a good amount of noise there. Now the x3 has a night mode as well for selfies, which well to be very honest. It does not do a lot. The nod, on the other hand, has a selfie flash which of course, produces great results, but once again, it's not ideal for someone like me who wears glasses so which ford is better well, it's safe to say that the poke x3 easily outsides the OnePlus knot in most of the use cases. The OnePlus note has the hdr8 daylight shots and the overall low light photography in its favor, but for everything else, it's the Poco x3.

That would appeal to a lot of users. OnePlus is still relying on that natural tone which someone like I would prefer like. I prefer that my editor would prefer something like that, because we like to edit our photos, but for someone who just wants, like social media ready or even just photos, that you can easily share everywhere and just appeal to you having that little of saturation without being over saturated or over sharpened, or you know, being exorbitantly raising and looking very processed. The Poco x3 does offer this kind of results that would appeal to a wide majority. I think it's what the company was trying to achieve with the Poco x2, but they have actually achieved it with the Poco x3, because the results here are that well refined and when you put that price tag next to the poke x3 things just make, the OnePlus note look very overpriced.

I mean I know it sounds weird, but it is what it is I mean like. Furthermore, I said you can obviously go ahead and download all the images and all the videos in the full rest and see for yourself, and I'm not kidding when I say this, the Poco x3 camera is well. It at least performs better and is more appealing as compared to the OnePlus note. Now, I'm not saying that the poke x3 is a better phone than the OnePlus note for that. Obviously, you'll have to wait for my full in-depth, long-term review of the poke x3.

But what I'm saying is that, for most users, the poke x3 camera is well better than the OnePlus not and well.
