Hey guys welcome back to pro nation. Today, we've got our hands on the Poco x3 gt, spoiler alert. This is a really powerful device. Let's begin with the unboxing of the Poco x3 gt. Now the unboxing process is pretty much the same as every other Poco device getting inside. There.
You've got the warranty card and the starter guide, as well as a clear case to use with it. You also get the sim card ejector tool and typical to every focal device. Unboxing you've got those bunch of stickers there as well. Now moving on you've got the phone right there with all the major specs on it, but we're going to discuss that a little later now getting into the box, you get a massive 67 watt, fast charger included, as well as an USB type-c cable. The main highlight features on here is the MediaTek dynasty, 1100 67, watts of turbocharging 120 hertz refresh rate, as well as 64 megapixels and Dolby Atmos, dual speakers.
Let's unwrap this now and take a look at the build quality and the design on the Poco x3 gt. The design of this may look very familiar to the people who have been keeping up with the Redmi Note 10 series you kind of have the same design, language main difference being that camera module. Now the back of it has a sort of glowy glittery. Look when the sun hits it directly, but it's not overwhelming at the bottom. You've got an USB type c input as well as a bottom facing speaker.
This is obviously coupled with the top side, where you've got the top facing speaker as well, to give you that Dolby apple surround sound that we talked about earlier and at the top. You also have the IR blaster. Now, on the right side, you've got the power button integrated with the fingerprint scanner, as well as the volume rockers and on the left side. You've got the sim card ejector slot, where you can fit in two sim cards supporting 5g network on the back of the device. You've got a triple camera setup.
The main sensor on here is a 64 megapixel camera with AI, but we'll talk about this a little later now, let's quickly set up the smartphone and get right into it. The setup process is pretty much exactly the same as any other android device, as you probably saw already it's running off of me, UI now, when you get into the phone itself, you see that typical Poco skin. On top of me, UI on top of android 11. Out of the box, the version of mini it's running is the global 12.5.2. We've got 256, GB storage and 8 gigs of ram on this.
You also get a maximum of 2.6 gigahertz OCTA core for the CPU. If you've used a Xiaomi or Poco device before this will feel very familiar. If you swipe down from the top right, you get the control panel and then, if you swipe down from the top left, you get your notifications panel. Everything feels exactly the same. As far as security is concerned.
You can use the AI face, unlock or the side fingerprint sensor which is built into the power button. As usual, like we've seen from Poco and Xiaomi devices, this is very quick, snappy and performed exactly how you'd expect this brings us to the display. This is where I felt like it was lacking a little I'll, tell you what my issue is with this, but let's begin with the specs you've got a 6.6 inch, full HD, plus dot display with 240hz touch sampling DC ip3 support, as well as 450 nits brightness. The maximum refresh rate on here is a 120 hertz of refresh rate, which is absolutely perfect in this day and age for navigation, gaming, even social media, stuff people kind of expect, a higher refresh rate device at this point anyway, so buttery smooth, no issues with that whatsoever. The colors on this are also really, really good.
The sharpness you get out of this was absolutely killer as well. So I was watching 4k content on here with high refresh rate 60 fps videos as well. It looks very, very good, and I did enjoy the viewing experience on here. The problem that I had with it is that the viewing angles on this aren't really the best. So if you're looking at it head on, you get great colors, great responsiveness.
All of that is awesome for consuming content or gaming on, but all of that pretty much goes away when you're outdoors, it's very difficult to view this on, I had a pretty hard time viewing the display, let alone filming it, especially in harsh direct sunlight, you're, pretty much better off turning it off and not looking at it, but something you should be looking at is the camera module on here you get a triple camera setup at the back, as I mentioned earlier, the camera setup on this actually caught me off guard because it performs pretty well. The main camera on here is a 64 megapixel, f 1.79 aperture, followed by an 8, megapixel ultra-wide angle, camera with 120 degree viewing angles. Finally, you have a 2 megapixel macro camera. I don't even know why we need this really, I don't get it, but it's there if you need it now, at the front, you've got a 16, megapixel, f, 2.45 aperture, with AI beautification. Now, moving on to the image samples, the back camera has perfect sharpness and HDR controls.
The colors look great you've got a pretty nice depth of field with that built-in aperture. As you can see, the autofocus elements look perfect. Colors, look, perfect vibrancy is very nice and sharpness is very balanced. I really didn't expect that even the ultra-wide angle, camera performs good. The details are slightly mushy, but it's its pretty good.
Now the zoom level goes up to 10x in digital zoom. As far as the 64 megapixel, you can see how much detail it really retains. It's actually perfect 600 crops on the fibers. You can see how sharp and nice it looks back. Camera portrait has nice edge separation for the price point.
It's actually pretty good. Colors, look nice! Even the front. Camera portrait mode looks way better than I expected so pretty good front. Camera too. As far as the back camera goes, it records in 4k up to 30 fps, and the stabilization is absolutely killer.
We've seen this with previous poker devices as well, really, really good stabilization. As I walk right there into the image you can see, the colors are really nice. HDR control is pretty good as well. The backs seem to be slightly blown out, and it isn't exposing for them, but overall image, quality just looks really, really good with the back camera. Now the front camera on this is able to record at 1080p at 30 fps at its maximum as well.
In terms of the colors, I feel like on screen right now. It looks a little odd to me in terms of the saturation and the gamma correction. It looks like everything's very flat, but obviously we'll see this when we get back to our laptop, but for now for the front camera in terms of your resolution and your frame rate 1080p at 30fps looks pretty good on screen. Even the stabilization is really great for the front camera at the given price point now. Moving on to the gaming performance on this device, the gaming on here is honestly, where it outshines most other things.
The processor on here is the MediaTek dimension, 1100, with a six nanometer flagship processor, we're also using the 8gb ram variant. So keep that in mind for my test, I'm using Call of Duty mobile- and you can see the graphics quality and frame rate it supports- is a maximum of very high quality, with the very high frame rate, which is what I set it to, because I wanted to see graphics quality more than anything. So this would give you about 90 hertz of refresh rate, and, to be honest, this looks absolutely stunning. The gaming performance on this has been one of the best. I've tried out recently.
As you can see, the graphics are on their max setting and I get a really, really good frame rate really pleasant experience while gaming on here and that's all thanks to the way this device has been made oriented towards gaming. You also have liquid cooling technology to keep the device cool at all times, while you're playing this overall just results in a great experience, while playing with a nice refresh rate, really nice colors overall, on the display and gaming on. This is definitely a 10 out of 10. Another huge plus on here is the battery performance. You get a 5 000 William hour battery capable of 67 watts of turbocharging.
The fact that you get the turbocharger included in the box as well. Just really awesome hats off your poker for doing that. Thank you for not making us purchase this separately, so yeah. Overall, the charging experience supporting quick charge. You can go all the way from 25 to 100, in literally about 25, to 30 minutes so under an hour full charge, no problem.
So all in all the Poco x3 gt is a great device all around the one place I would say it is lacking, is the display the viewing angles aren't the best in direct sunlight. You can almost not see the phone at all, but when it comes to gaming capabilities and even the camera performance, this might be one of my favorite Poco devices. So really hope you guys enjoyed this early review. If you did a like, would be appreciated subscribe to the channel. If you wish to, and we'll see you again in the next video until then, you.
