POCO M3 PRO 5G REVIEW: Been Using It For 2 Weeks. Here's The Real Story!

Hey everybody welcome back to another video with fleet reviews today, we're here to check out the brand new Poco m3 pro 5g that just launched here in Malaysia. Now I've been using this device here for almost two weeks now, so I definitely have a lot of my experience to share with you guys and let you know whether this is the device that you might want to purchase, so before I do that. I just want to give you a quick introduction about the Poco m3 pro 5g over here. If you know the Poco m3 that was launched a couple of months ago, that device was a very budget affordable, smartphone at a crazy, crazy price launched by polo. So you can look at this as kind of the successor to the Poco m3, with this pro 5g version, alright. So without further ado, let's just check out this device.

Let's see what came in the box, and let me share with you my experience after using this for two weeks: let's go alright! So, first up, let's talk about what came in the box, so I don't want to waste too much of your time to show you the full unboxing. Naturally, you do get the device itself. Apart from that, you also get this pretty flimsy plastic kind of case that came in a box. More importantly, we do have the charger that supports 18, watt, fast charge and, of course, the type c cable uh which really you will need for this device itself. So that's pretty much what you get in the box, uh yeah, the box, is this yellow color in case you're wondering so now, let's focus more on the device itself.

First up, let me talk a little about the design and build quality and all that so in terms of design wise guys, you can see here that we do have this unique design on the Poco m3 pro 5g, compared to what is actually being in the market that we see today. This is a little of a fresh design. I would say just because of that little cutout in the top left corner right here that you can see on this device right here. I think it just makes it stand out a little more uh. One thing to note here is that the back panel is actually very reflective, and it captures fingerprints so easily.

So you might want to use a case when you use the Poco m3 pro 5g right here, but otherwise, just in terms of design build quality feels very solid. We have this uh, quite not to say very heavy device right here, but it just feels very solid on this Poco device, just like all previous Poco devices as well. One more thing you need to note here is that we do get this fingerprint scanner at the right corner here. So those of you who wears your mask, you should wear a mask. You can actually have access to unlock your device very quickly with the side mounted fingerprint scanner all right now, let's talk a little about the display, so the display at the front here is a 6.5 inch lcd. It is a 1080p unit and a refresh rate is 90 hertz, so um, okay, just to sum up my experience with this display.

The good thing here is that 1080p does look pretty sharp on this device right here, but the second good thing is that you have 90 hertz, which also makes it fairly smooth on day-to-day use. Now the thing that I don't really like about this display right here is that again we are given an of course, an affordable budget kind of LCD panel right here, so it doesn't get too bright and what's most important is most of the time when I'm outdoors or if you just go out for you know whatever reason the display just doesn't cut it guys, you can't really see the content on the display, and it gets very, very dim. That is one thing that I feel a bit lacking in terms of the lcd on the Poco m3 pro right here, all right done with the display. Let's talk a little about the performance so powering this device right here, just like most other affordable 5g devices. Here is the dimension 700 processors.

Apart from that, you also get six gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of internal memory. Bear in mind that is UFS 2.1. You do not get any fast storage here, which is understandable. So in terms of performance, I must say that the good news here is that, since using it for two weeks, Poco has consistently pushed out software updates for mini, and it just gets. It just keeps getting better guys.

So it was used to optimize the performance. The updates also reduced system lags, and all that, and it did, it did work pretty well. So initially the device was a bit laggy and all that, but after two weeks I'm safe to say that it is fairly smooth right now I don't face a lot of lags and the whole UI system has been so much smoother compared to when I just got the device for the first time, but in terms of gaming, I want to talk a little about gaming here, because if you play mobile, legends, PUBG or even Genshin Impact for that matter, uh the trick to play it smoothly on this device. Here is obviously to go down to medium graphic settings: uh don't go for the highest because it just won't hold up on the Poco m3 pro 5g right here, but medium settings is the sweet spot where you can actually enjoy your game on this device right here. So yeah just bear that in mind.

All right guys! Next point I want to talk about here- are the cameras at the back. So you see, as you can see right here, we do have uh three sensors right there uh. First, we get a 48 megapixel main sensor. We get a two megapixel depth and another two megapixel macro sensor at the back, so just from that alone uh effectively, you only have one main sensor that you're probably going to be using, and that is the 48 megapixel main sensor all right. Let's take a look at a couple of pictures here.

Um based on these photos that I took, you can see very clearly that during the day it does a fairly decent job of capturing a lot of detail. Decent amounts of saturation and a quite natural looking photo from the Poco m3 pro 5g, but as soon as it gets to darker environments or more challenging environments. For that matter, you tend to see quite a lot of noise. Sharpness levels goes down quite a fair bit as well. So it's definitely not a night shooter here, but again, based on the price for this device, guys it is an affordable device.

So if you're just going to be sharing your photos on social media, you shouldn't have any problems with the Poco m3 pro 5g right here I did wish it came with an ultra-wide instead of those two dev sensors and macro lens. All right next thing I want to talk about here very quickly. Is the speakers at the bottom. It is a single firing speaker, nothing too much to talk about there. It gets pretty loud, but yeah I mean it's def, it's pretty alright, and at the top here you do get your headphone jack still present on the Poco m3 pro 5g, so in case you have to use wired earphones.

You can still do that with the device right here now. Last but not least, let's talk a little about the battery in the back, so we do get a 5 000 William hour battery right here and supports up to 18 watt of fast charge. So if you notice on all the other dimension, 700 devices, all of them only support up to 18 watt of fast charge. So I would consider that pretty standard, but again, like I said earlier on, you do have the charger in the box right here, so you can charge up the device it takes about one hour or a little more than that to charge it up from zero to a hundred and in terms of screen on time I was able to get about six to seven hours, but I did do a little of gaming. So bear in mind, it really depends on your usage and usage patterns and all that.

So that's what you can expect from the battery life of the Poco m3 pro 5g, all right guys. I think that is pretty much all that I want to share with you. If you are looking for the most affordable 5g device- and this might be the one to check out also if you're in the market, looking for a brand new, affordable smartphone, you might also want to check this out because it does come with a couple of stuff. I know not all of you care about 5g right now, but in terms of the specifications and all that you do get a decent uh specs here with the price that the Poco m3 pro is asking for. So that's what you can get with this device all right guys.

I hope you like this video. I know it's a bit long. Please give me a like if you like this video and support the channel, I hope all of you are staying safe, and I'll. See you guys in the next one bye.
