POCO M3 PRO 5G FULL REVIEW - There's a Problem

Hi welcome back to my YouTube channel. My name is chrism an XML and for today's video we will have a full review of the Poco m3 pro polo. M3 pro is one of the cheapest 5g and 90hz refresh rate you can buy, but there's a big problem watch towards the end of this video to know what it is now, let's head over to its quick specs, this phone has an IPS LCD, 90hz, refresh rate with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. The screen is protected by corning gorilla, glass, 3, its back and frame is made up of plastic polo. M3 pro has three colors, and the one that I have here is the cold. Blue, the phone's design looks premium, the phone's back looks like a glass, but it's plastic, and it does not feel heavy.

Considering that this phone has 5000 my battery. The only I don't like about the design is the big logo. At the back on the left side of the phone, we have the hybrid sim card tray on the right side. We have the volume keys and the power button, which also serves as the fingerprint scanner at the top. We have the headphone jack light sensor, IR blaster and microphone at the bottom.

Furthermore, we have the microphone USB type-c port for charging and data transfer and the only speaker- and yes, this phone only has one speaker, but it sounds perfect, and it's decent for its price. At the front we have the 8, megapixel, f, 2.0, selfie camera, it's quite big, compared to Poco f3 selfie camera. At the back, we have the triple camera setup, which consists of 48, megapixel, f, 1.8, main 2, megapixel, f, 2.4, depth sensor and, lastly, 2 megapixels, f, 2.4 macro lens, which does not support autofocus. The variant I have here is the six gigs of ram 128 gigs of internal storage, UFS 2.2. Its processor is the MediaTek dimension 700, which is an entry-level chipset for 5g.

The phone is powered by a large 5000 my battery. It comes with the 22.5 watt, fast charger, but the phone can only support 18 watt fast charging. You can charge the phone from 0 to 34 in 30 minutes out of the box, we have the mini version, 12.0.2 on top of android 11. , running a speed test using a Como sim card powered by globe. As expected, the phone detected the 5g signal, and I'm getting a good download and upload speed by the way.

This is not the sponsored post running the an tutu benchmark test. We are getting an impressive score of 321 201, which is one of the best for its price. Now, let's put this phone to the test by checking its performance through gaming battery and temperature management, we will be connected to the data network.75, brightness and 100 battery baseline temperature is 32.9 degrees Celsius playing asphalt, 9 runs smoothly in this device, and it's expected not all graphics, will be generated due to processor and GPU limitations. Overall, you can still enjoy playing asphalt, 9 in this phone in high quality settings. Mobile legends also run smoothly in high frame rate mode and ultra graphics, and I did not see any frame drops or nor lag playing.

This game Call of Duty. Mobile's graphic settings is limited to medium and high for frame rates. It runs good, and I did not see any frame drops nor lag playing this game. Ken shin impact by default is set to the lowest graphics and 30 frames per second. The game at these settings is very playable.

However, there are some frames drops increasing the resolution to medium will add more lag. I would suggest just set the graphics to the lowest for consistent and good experience all right. So, let's check the running temperature of the phone. We are 38 degrees Celsius after playing two hours of games and the remaining battery is 86, so we just consume 14 of battery. So what I can say is this phone is able to manage the temperature very well and also the battery as well, and now, let's check the performance of its camera.

Daylight conditions from the main camera shows an excellent result, rich in details and sharp low noise and good dynamic range portrait mode has a good separation background thanks to its depth sensor, and I also like the color. However, the exposure might be a bit of overexposed macro lens does not support any autofocus, and sometimes the pictures coming out of it is soft. It takes a lot of tries to make the photos. Sharp photos taken during the night is excellent in its class and there's a lot of details. Portrait selfie is good with good amount of details and saturation, sometimes you'll have to manually adjust the exposure to avoid overexposed pictures.

Oh, this phone does not have any water resistance. The issue. What I'm seeing on this phone is the inconsistency of the 90 hertz refresh rate. As you can see, we are seeing frame, drops and sluggish user interface to measure this one. Let's use the built-in frame rate monitor to see the frame rates, as you can see, it barely reaches 90 hertz.

However, there is a workaround to fix this one, but it's temporary. The workaround fix is first turn off the phone and remove your sim card. Then turn on the phone. Now the phone is running smoothly. Let's use the frame rate monitor, and now it's reaching 90 hertz, while the phone is on insert your sim card.

Now the phone is now able to utilize 90 hertz, while the sim card is inserted. However, when you restart the phone, the issue persists. Hopefully Poco or Xiaomi can release a software update to fix this issue. Overall, the phone is okay for its price. It can take good to decent photos able to manage gaming with minimal heat, good battery management, and I'm hoping that the 90hz inconsistency will be fixed by a software update.

What are your thoughts? Just leave a comment down below and see in the next one, peace.
