iPhone 11 Pro Max Vs iPhone 7 Plus! (Should You Upgrade) (Comparison) (Review)

What's up everybody welcome back to the channel we're going to be doing another comparison between two iPhones that you know you guys, probably don't even care about at least the iPhone 7 plus you know. A lot of people might not think this is a good contender or anything, but in my opinion, I mean just think about it, like this Apple was still selling the iPhone 7 plus in their stores, brand-new literally, not even like two months ago, like a month ago, so I'm just saying a lot of people still own. The iPhone, 7, plus and I want to see you know kind of the evolution between these two. You know how much we're getting for you know a three-year new device, because this one came out in 2016. This one came out just last week, so there were three years between the making and I just did a comparison between the iPhone 11 and iPhone 7. There was a big difference to get me wrong, but honestly I was kind of expecting more from a big upgrade like that, but this one I think is a bigger one.

Now, in this comparison, I'll be talking about these screens the build quality, everything whether you should upgrade or not speak in persons, but I'll hit on the cameras. Briefly, I'm going to make a separate video talking about the cameras between these and a whole comparison. So just like I'm doing a video like this I'll do one for the camera separately, because that's videos going to be like 40 minutes long before I get too deep into this video I'm still doing my iPhone 10 or giveaway. So if you want to enter that, just click the second link down in the description, or it's like probably the fourth one it'll say like free, iPhone, 10 or giveaway open, just click that link it'll. Take you to a video on YouTube, just watch that video or explain exactly how to enter I just want to say.

Thank you so much for supporting the channel so check out that if you want to enter now, looking at the phones themselves, starting off with the front I can definitely tell you without a doubt the iPhone 11 Pro max is so much better in terms of the screen. I never thought the 7 Plus out of bad screen. I use this as my main phone for a very long time. Furthermore, I feel like a couple of months, which is a long time for me, but the 11pro max I mean there's no way around it. You have you 5.5 inch panel on the iPhone, 7 plus and a 6.5 inch panel on the iPhone 11 Pro Mac. So not only are you getting a know, bigger display, which some people, like some people, don't you're getting a higher resolution display.

On top of that, so that's awesome, more pixels per inch on the iPhone 11 Pro max, but also you're, getting a super retina MTR OLED display, which they could have just said all that it's the same exact thing, I really didn't think they did too much crazier things. Besides increase the brightness on this 7 plus so you're. Getting a 1080p Retina displays it's an LCD though, which isn't horrible, but some people I know they like the IPS panels more than alleys, but I think 95 people out there, like, oh, that's more, so that'd out the iPhone 11 Pro max. In my opinion, definitely wins in terms of the screen resolution and just the screens and styles. Now a huge difference is the bezel is design on the 11pro Max and the seven plus you own button.

Some people like it, some people, don't I, mean I. Definitely like the design on here. I wish this had like touch ID on it somewhere, but you can definitely see that there is quite a bit of difference between the designs, but they're exactly the same size almost in the hands. This one's a little wider. Now, though, but not by much, you can't even tell in terms of the way they feel in the hand.

I'll definitely tell you, the iPhone 11 Pro max feels more premium any way you put it I mean the chassis around. The phone feels so much more premium. The 11pro max is definitely noticeably thicker than the iPhone 11 Pro matte, then the seven plus you can tell even just by holding them- hopefully I'm right, maybe I'm, just kind of tripping, but as far as I can tell the 11pro max, isn't noticeably thicker on the back, though you can see you know, one doesn't really go like Dwarf, the other one. You have a dual camera setup on the iPhone 7 plus a triple camera setup, though on the 11pro max. The biggest difference, though, is the glass on the back of the 11pro max.

The seven plus has this. You know like matte finish on it, which doesn't feel bad. It feels kind of good. Well, I was saying this in the last video, like they kind of feel the same. You know.

Maybe this is what I kept remembering when I was rubbing, the back of the xi pros earlier, so I think one doesn't necessarily like feel more premium, but this one is way more durable, but this one is also kind of durable, because it's not, you know, doesn't have a glass to break on the back so anyways. That's the outside I'll, definitely tell you the 11pro max is the better feeling device there's no way around it. I mean it's better. Looking its better feeling so that'd out. That is a pretty big upgrade right there now hitting on these software updates.

This is where the 11pro max will definitely shine. On top of the 7 plus this one came out in 2016. This one came on in 2019, so you're, obviously getting a better software experience on the 11pro max you're going to be getting, at least in my opinion, two more versions of software on the 11pro max than on these seven plus, that's not to say that the 7 plus is you know, going to die anytime soon, but I think you know playing safely the 11pro gets. You know the regular variants of software and the 7 plus gets regular variants of software. Then it'll probably end up lasting, like 2 or 3 versions, but if it gets that extra year of support, then the 11pro max could get.

You know three more versions of software on top of the 7 plus. So either way you look at it. The 11pro max will outlast the 7 plus in terms of software, but they seven plus, you know, still is going to be around for a minute. You know it's. That's getting all the versions of iOS 13.

It's going to be getting iOS 14 now because of the new iPad that just came out got the 810 fusion chip. This one also has 810 fusion chips. It could mean that this phone could last you know, get an extra year of support, no guarantees yet. But that's kind of my you know, hypothesis of that, but that pretty much covers it up in terms of software, the 11pro max will probably outlast it. So moving on to the speed comparison between these now I'll tell you the specs of both phones, and then I'll go ahead and just run the speed comparison idea, apps on both of them.

The iPhone 7 plus, like I said, has the Apple 810 fusion chip, a quad-core, CPU and three gigabytes of RAM on all the models. The iPhone 11 problem max, however, as the Apple, a 13 Bionic chip, a hex core, CPU and 4 gigabytes of RAM. So an extra gigabyte of RAM on the iPhone 11 Pro max, so let's go and see which one is the faster device between these. What I'm, telling you right now is always consistent. I think the newer device is going to be faster every single time.

Let's see if I'm proven wrong alright, so we have almost the same apps on both. Let me go and clear out on all the apps on both these phones. Ok, I'm cleared out on all the apps, so let's go and start loading them up. Let's do Facebook 3 2, even starting off the 11 was already faster, and I'm gonna call this the 11 the 11 is on the Left. P7 plus is all right, but the 11 Pro max is the one on the left: sorry Twitter, 3, 2, 1, and even right there.

You can see the Pro max with the faster one Instagram three two one again: eleven Pro max faster Netflix, three, two one and again the iPhone 11 Pro max was the faster one. Even for a minor app like this snake versus blocks, 3 2, 1 and again look how big of a difference there is between these. That's a pretty big difference, I'm getting into some actual gameplay. You can sell I mean you know they're about the same, but there's definitely more glitches, going on the iPhone 7 plus then on the 11pro Macs Quizlet 3, 2, 1 MMM, that one was pretty close, but if you 11pro won that Dropbox three to one and again the 11pro max was faster, Sofa three-two-one and look at that difference. We're already loaded on the 11pro max we're still loading on the seven-plus, and then we eventually get into it, but it almost a pretty big difference.

Thank you. Three two one and there we go again even for like not even a huge app like this there's. A pretty big difference like this is a minor one. When it comes to it's, not that large Temple, Run, 3, 2 1, now, hopefully I'm not a game in either of these, because that means I will have to restart it. The 11pro max were not into a game and the seven-plus were not in the game either.

So you saw this little Game Center thing that doesn't affect the loading times though, but you can see we were already into it on the 11pro max. Eventually we got into it on the 11 on the 7 plus, but that was a pretty big difference. Fruit, ninja 3, 2 1, and look at that difference already loaded on the 11pro max still loading only seven plots we eventually get into it, but that one was a pretty big difference right. There paper, IO, 2, 3, 2, 1, and again we're loaded faster on TV, 11, Pro max and that's kind of what I expected it to be faster, every single time: Temple Run, 2, 3, 2 1 you and this guy's more in the lawn outside. So it's probably gonna mess up the audio, but look at that difference between them.

A very, very large difference, I mean there's really no way around it. I mean how many more times do I have to say: I mean you know like I mean, but I definitely do think. You know for a 2016 phone, it's not bad 7 plus, but we can see the difference. We can see the winner between them. Let's go end it off with the Real Racing 3 3 2 1.

Now, if I have to download the app again on the 4, 7 plus I'm, probably going to cry, and I'm not going to yep, either download it, so there's no point: Real Racing never had this issue before I need to find a different, app SIA. Besides Real Racing 3 I always have issues with it. Now loading the an tutu benchmark, you can see again very large difference between them, 456789:cdefghijstuvwxyzcdefghijstuvwxyz and triple camera set up on the 11pro max. Now you have telephoto lenses on both. Apparently the 11pro max has a better telephoto lens, but the biggest difference comes in that ultra-wide sensor, so that additional lens on the 11pro max gives you the ability to shoot ultra-wide photos, which you don't have only seven plus now what's interesting, is, is that the seven plus was the first camera to bring a dual camera setup.

So I really want to kind of you know, compare these two side-by-side, but I'll do a quick one here, and I'll do it. You know whole separate video talking about it. Looking at the 7 pluses camera, you can see, it's still good. You know you have portrait mode. You have that two times optical zoom, which is awesome.

Would you do like that telephoto lens or that ultra-wide sensor, which doesn't allow you to you know, take an ultra-wide photo, but I think for the know, time being and the photos you're going to take I think it's going to be fine? If you download an app like or whatever that shuttered thing is or Snap seed or whatever the app is you can. You know edit your photos a little more, but I think per stock you're. Definitely not going to be complaining about the cameras. You can still do 4k. You know it's a perfect camera still.

The 11pro max is definitely the better camera. So you can also do that. You know the two times optical zoom, but you can also you know, use that ultra light sensor. You can see my legs, you can see the tripod, so you can see a lot more in that lot out of a photo than you can on a seven plus. So should you upgrade just because of the cameras? No, but that is also one of those cool things when you are upgrading there's a lot of reasons to do it, but I think.

In my opinion, the 11pro max will definitely win in terms of the camera sensor now ending off with the battery life. So this is where you know the 11pro max also shines, so you have a two thousand nine hundred million power battery on these seven plus, but at three thousand nine hundred and sixty-nine million power battery on the 11pro max now I've been using the 11pro max for a little, not as a main phone, but it's like a side phone and I like it, I think the battery life is very, very good on this device, but I also found that the seven-plus had pretty decent battery life, but between these two, the 11pro max definitely wins in my books, it's definitely a better phone. Whichever way you look at it in terms of the battery life and really anything else, so another thing to keep in mind, these seven plus has degraded in battery if you're, getting it used or if you've owned. One I would check the battery healthy for seven plus, so just take whatever help you have left from the 2900. So if you might have like a 2600 or 2500 mAh battery, but whichever way you look at it, even though the 11pro max has a bigger screen, better specs, whatever it has that bigger battery to kind of compensate for it.

So for my current iPhone, 7 plus users, I would tell you could probably keep your phone for a little longer with that like I. Don't think this is an urgent thing to upgrade to like I, definitely think it's a better phone anyway, you look at it like I stated, but I just think you know from what we know about the 20/20 iPhones with you know the next iPhones that are coming and these, you know I, think you're, better off, probably wait until the next version, especially considering the fact that you still have software support on your seven plus I. Don't think you should go and upgrade, but to I mean D. If the iPhone 11 Pro max was like a 10 out of 10, this one would probably be like an 8 out of 10. You know maybe like a 7.75, it's not showing its age, but when you're comparing them, you can kinda see. You know how much better of phones we have now, so that design might be the thing that kind of pushes you over the that kind of pushes you over the edge.

Furthermore, you know with having the home button and a lot of bezels, whether that you know speaks to you or not. That is something you kind of have to keep in mind the 11pro max. You know this is the future of it. We might be removing the notch next year. Who knows, but I would say, even going from a 7 plus to a tennis max would be a pretty big upgrade so antennas maxes are much cheaper than an 11 Pro max.

You could probably go on for like $400, even maybe $500 cheaper than one of these right now, so that's kind of where I would end things off. Man I'll leave the cheapest tennis max that I find in the description below, as well as a tennis, so I'll find them on Amazon, and I'll leave them down in the description below. So, if you want to help support the channel definitely purchase things to that link like I said earlier. Actually, I, don't remember if I stated this I'm still doing my iPhone, 10 or giveaway, and giving one away free completely free to one of you guys so check that second link, third link or four things down in the description, it'll say: free, iPhone, 10 or giveaway, open click that link it'll. Take you to a video watch that video it's completely free to answer, but that's pretty much it is sorry, this guy's more on the lawn outside.

So it's kind of affecting the audio, but leave some comments down. Do you like the iPhone, 7 plus, more you're gonna, keep it, or you're going to go upgrade C 11 Pro max? Do you think the 11 Pro max is a waste of money? Let me know in the comment section below hit that like button that only so much but definitely hit that subscribe button check out the other links down in the description like I said, but, more importantly than everything else, I love every single one of you guys snowfall catch. You guys in the next video peace out.
