Pixel 2 versus HTC U11: speed test

Hey guys I'm the great the high-tech, traveler, and today I'm doing a speed test, comparing the HTC, u 11, and the new pixel to from Google. Now these two devices are pretty similar on the surface: here's a quick rundown of their specs, the HTC. U 11 is using a Qualcomm snapdragon 835 processors, with four gigs of ram and the pixel 2 is actually using the same setup. The main difference, though, is in their display sizes. The pixel 2 has a 5.2 inch 1080p panel, while the HTC. U 11, has a 5.5 inch. Quad HD display now to see how these two devices actually perform.

I'm going to open up applications on both devices simultaneously to see which one opens quicker once that's done, I'll also be running through the apps, a second time to see which device opens them quicker from memory and just like I do with every speed test. I'm going to start things off with a fresh boot to make sure that no apps are stored in memory now boot uptime never indicates which of these devices is actually quicker, but, as you can see, the pixel of 2 here loaded up a lot faster than the HTC. U 11, I'm, not sure if that has to do with stock Android being installed on it, but it's definitely nice to see that the phone loads really quickly with that out of the way, let's jump in with round one all wrapped up. The pixel two has a clear advantage, but let's see if the HTC u11 can gain back some ground in round two. At the end of the day, the pixel 2 is a lot faster than the HTC.

U 11, when it comes to loading the app for the first time or also loading them from memory. If you're looking for the fastest devices, when comparing the pixel 2 versus the HTC, u 11, the pixel 2 is definitely the way to go. I have more pixel 2 videos coming up so make sure you subscribe to the channel if you want to see them. Thank you so much for watching, and I'll catch you in the next one.
