Oxygen OS 11.0.7.7 for Oneplus 8 Series REVIEW!! BEST OOS 11 TILL NOW??

What's up guys welcome back to yet another review video in this video we'll review oxygen, OS 11.0.7.7, which wasn't hotfix over the previous update for OnePlus 8 series and now oxygen. Os builds on OnePlus 8 series and OnePlus 9 series are quite stable with few minor bugs here and there. So as always, we created a poll asking about what all issues you guys have been facing on latest build of oxygen OS and most users reported issues related to battery backup, so that thing will also be covering in this video. So let's not waste much of time and start with the review process. So here I have my OnePlus 8, on which I'm running the latest build of oxygen OS and that's of this stable channel, which is oxygen, OS 11.0.7.7. And if you take a look at the change laws of this latest update here, few optimizations were done related to system and camera application.

Though camera app version wasn't changed on this latest build of oxygen OS. So you won't see any noticeable change when it comes to picture quality. One of the major issue what I have been facing on my OnePlus 8 is related to Wi-Fi calling, and this issue was to be seen on OnePlus 9 series, but after this latest update, it's been on my OnePlus 8. Also, most of the time, Wi-Fi calling feature doesn't work for me and that on my Airtel sim card- and I also tried on secondary sim card, which is of Jio, and the same issue was to be seen with this sim card. Besides, most of the OnePlus 8 series users are satisfied with this latest update.

According to them, performance seems to be fine, but still users have been reporting issues related to battery backup. So let me clear one thing guys: battery backup completely depends on your usage and other factors too, so screen on time will not be same for every user if any additional system app is using your battery. In the background, you can check that in the battery usage section, but if your battery graphs shows your normal applications which you have been using, there is not an issue related to battery, depending on your usage pattern and other factors. Battery backup will not be same for every user, though even I have slightly felt battery backup seems to be a bit low on this latest build after this update. I also felt bit improvements in the gallery.

Application loading speed seems to be improved a bit after upgrading the device to the latest build, and now loading of photos doesn't take much of time if you guys are still facing issues related to loading speed of photos in gallery application make sure to check the current version of your gallery on my device gallery. App version is 4.0.180, and one of our user have been facing issues related to WhatsApp parallel app, though he did not mention what kind of issue he is facing, but if you guys are facing any issue while using WhatsApp parallel app, then do. Let me know in the comment section below and another issue what I felt after updating. The device is related to charging speed, but I cross-checked with few of our users, who are using OnePlus 8 series. They personally don't have any kind of issues later to charging.

For me, device is taking a bit long to charge. I'm not exactly sure it's an issue with OS or my charger, so if any of you guys have been facing issues later to charge it do. Let me know in the comment section below and also let me know how much time does your device take to charge from 0-100 on a community tab. Rahul Gupta have also mentioned few issues. What he has been facing in which he's mentioned issues later to ambient notification.

Speaker, camera battery drain heating and loading of photos in the gallery. So, as I have shown in this, video gallery seems to be more optimized on this latest build and heating issues. I personally don't feel any kind of heating issues. I've also done gaming on this device and that too, with 90 fps, it's summer's time device will obviously hate more than usual and talking about first three issues, I'm not exactly sure what he's mentioned, but when it comes to camera, recording videos in 4k at 60 fps on my OnePlus 8, I did not find any kind of issues recording those videos, so that will be more specific about your first two issues so guys these were some issues. What I personally noticed on my OnePlus 8 after upgrading the device- and hopefully I have covered whatever you guys mentioned on a community tab.

Now, let's talk about the battery segment, which is again one of the major concern for OnePlus users running oxygen, OS 11. So here we have few cycles of screen on time and overnight battery train with first cycle. I got five hours and six minutes of screen on time with my normal usage, and this was without gaming with second cycle. I got 4 hours and 44 minutes of screen on time, and this was also without gaming. In the second graph you can see, Google Play Services have been using battery in the background and that's the reason.

I've been getting little of less screen on time now talking about overnight battery rain on day one. I noticed three percent of battery drain in five and a half hours on day, two again, three percent of battery range in six and a half hours. So here you will see slight improvements in this sleep standby time or the sleep standby. Optimization though, if I compare it with the previous, build screen on time seems to be little low on this latest build and now, let's move on to the camera part. So I wasn't about to cover this camera part because there are no noticeable changes.

Camera app version also remains same, comparing it with previous version of oxygen OS, but still here are few photos which you can take. A look at clicking pictures with front camera in portrait mode still slightly over, exposes the picture, quality and the skin tone, and I'll also be getting a new video, comparing the cameras of OnePlus 8 series and OnePlus 9 series with that of Google Pixel 4a, so stay tuned for that. So in terms of camera, I don't see any kind of improvements with this latest update and last, but not the least. Now, let's also talk about the performance part, as you guys know, I have also been into gaming, and currently there are two primary devices on which I do gaming one is one plus nine and the second one is one plus 8. So after upgrading the device to the latest version, I did play few games, and this time I played with 90 fps and trust me guys, did not see any kind of issues later to performance or hitting issues while playing games like PUBG.

So overall, when it comes to performance device, was able to perform perfect so here in performance segment, no issues at all with this latest update of OxygenOS. Meanwhile, here is a small gameplay, which you can take a look at nice shot me killing spree reloading help Marcy so guys. This was a quick review of oxygen, OS 11.0.7 for OnePlus 8 series. I hope I have covered almost all the questions or the issues. What you guys have been facing also guys now.

OnePlus is also trying their best to solve the issues, and we have also started getting regular updates. Currently, this is one of the best build till now of oxygen, OS 11 for my OnePlus 8 series. What are your thoughts about this latest build of oxygen OS for OnePlus 8 series. Do let me know in the comment section below as of now only this much in this video hope you guys like the video, if you liked the video then do give me a thumbs up and also, if you're new to our channel then do not forget to subscribe.
