Oppo Reno 2 Unboxing | SHARK FIN SELFIE CAMERA!

Hello and welcome to ReviewsPK! My name is Ameer. We saw Oppo Reno being launched by Oppo 6 months ago. And now, 6 months later, Oppo has launched Reno 2 We have seen the similar product cycle with other brands of BBK Electronics as well. like OnePlus, Vivo and Realme. So in our video today, we are unboxing Reno 2. Only one variant of Oppo Reno 2 will launch in Pakistan, with 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage.

And there are two colour options, Luminous Black and Ocean Blue. And if we talk about the price, then although it is not yet confirmed and Oppo always releases the official price in their event. But our estimation is that Reno 2 will compete in Rs 70,000/- to Rs 80,000/- And guys, the review of this phone will also be uploaded on the channel in a few days so if there are any specific things that you want me to cover then you can let me know in the comment section below. Lets move towards the unboxing now. Keep watching! If you are new, then subscribe to our channel, and turn on the notifications.

And we are now on Instagram as well, so follow us @reviews_pk Oppo Reno 2 arrives in this long box. So first lets remove this plastic over the box and lets remove the lid. There is this folder at the top most which contains some user manuals. And here is Oppo Reno 2. But first, remaining contents of the box! So there is a protective case in the box which is of plastic but its finish is rubberized.

Along with it, there is this headset in the box, which looks like Apple Airpods. And there is a 20W VOOC charger and this USB Type-C VOOC charging cable. Lets remove the wrap over the handset now and take a closer look at it. Since the main selling point of Reno 2 are its cameras, so lets talk about the cameras first, There is a Shark-Fin designed motorized pop-up selfie camera at the front of Oppo Reno 2. And Oppo is the pioneer of this Shark-Fin design.

For selfies, this time as well, a 16MP Wide Angle lens of f/2.0 aperture is present Whereas there is a Quad camera setup at the back this time which includes a 48MP Wide Angle lens of f/1.7 aperture, which is optically stabilized, a 13 MP Telephoto lens of f/2.4 aperture, an 8MP Ultra Wide lens of f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP Depth sensor. And some special features are also given in this camera, like 5x Hybrid Zoom, 20x Digital Zoom, Ultra Dark Mode and a Ultra Steady Video Mode. We will test all these features in the full review indeed. Lets talk about the build and design now. So the build of Oppo Reno 2 is of glass and aluminium.

Where there is a Gorilla Glass 6 at the front along with a pre applied screen protector. Whereas there is Gorilla Glass 5 at the back, and an aluminium frame is present in the center. Gorilla Glass 5 and 6, and an aluminium frame, are all flagship level premium materials. Because of having glass, the phone has some weight to it too and the phone feels premium and solid in hands. Along with that, this colour also, in different angles of light, gives shades of purple and teal.

Mesmerizing! If we move towards the display, then in Reno 2, slightly longer than last time, a 6.5 inches AMOLED Display is given which has a Full HD 1080 x 2400 resolution and the pixel density is 401 ppi. Whereas the aspect ratio is 20:9 The display is completely notchless. And this notchless is personally favourite too. An optical finger print sensor is also included in the display. The finger print sensor seemed very fast and responsive to me on first look.

Lets talk about some specifications and internals of the phone. Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor is given in Oppo Reno 2, which is an upgrade over Reno's Snapdragon 710 of last time. Along with it, Adreno 618 GPU is added in the phone this time, where last time we saw Adreno 616 GPU. And if we talk about RAM and storage, then the phone comes with an 8GB RAM and a 256GB built-in storage this time. If we talk about expansion options, then a Hybrid SIM slot is given in Oppo Reno 2 In which, you can either insert two nano SIMs, or one nano SIM and one Micro SD card up to 256GB.

Along with it, a USB Type-C port is given in the phone, this time as well. And the phone ships with Android 9.0 Pie, which has Oppo's own ColourOS 6.1 over it. If we talk about the battery, then we are seeing an upgrade here too. A 4,000 mAh battery is given in Reno 2, where last time we saw a 3,765 mAh battery. And VOOC charging 3.0 is present in the phone this time too, which will charge this phone on 20W. Meaning, 50% battery will charge in almost 30 minutes, and it will take around 1 hr 15 minutes to get full charged.

If we talk about the final thoughts, then Reno 2 is an incremental upgrade over last generation. Where we have seen some major upgrades on camera, processor and battery. This phone is targeted towards those people, who want a premium quality phone, but the flagship level, specially on that price tag, which is Rs 1,25,000/-, Rs 1,50,000/- or Rs 2,00,000/-, who wants to avoid this price tag. Whether you take a lot of pictures from your phone, or you do gaming, or you are a high productivity or power user, this phone is basically an all rounder phone which will suit all. Now I will use this phone for a few days, and will check out how the phone performs Then I will report my findings in the full review of this phone.

So if you are interested in watching that, then stay tuned to the channel. What are your thoughts on Reno 2? Do let me know in the comment section below. That is all for this video, I hope you liked the video. Like always, do not forget to like, share and subscribe. I will meet you in the next video.

Goodbye!.
