#Oneplus8Pro vs #Oneplus7T | Gaming Review | PUBG at #90FPS

Hey guys welcome to my channel today I'm going to put the OnePlus 7t against the OnePlus 8 pro in a gaming challenge, and the game of choice is going to be PUBG. So, let's get into it. First, I'm going to make sure that both the phones are at the same exact setting, but the OnePlus 7t does not support a 120. Hertz display supports a 90 hertz and also that it is a 1080p display. Now the OnePlus 8 pro, on the other hand, supports quad HD plus at 120 hertz. So I'm going to keep that as well.

I'm going to even match the brightnesses so that the displays look similar along with the settings, as I said before, in the latter part of the video, I'm also going to show how the phone behaves on a FHD plus setting as well right from the starting of the game to the gameplay before we move forward, don't forget to press the subscribe button below and press the bell icon to get notified. Let's start with the game boot up test and just to make sure there are no apps in the background, while we are at it. Let me know in the comment section below which game will start first, and I will make it a point to reply to each and every comment or question of yours so do comment below I'm going to go with the OnePlus 8 pro yeah and uh. Yes, it did start first, so the OnePlus 8 pro wins but uh. It should win because of the 865 snapdragon processor compared to the 855 plus, which is a generation behind next, let's listen to the speakers.

Okay, so this was a clear win on the OnePlus 7t. The OnePlus 7t speakers are louder than the OnePlus 8 pro, which is surprising, but as a matter of fact, when I put it across the iPhone 11, the OnePlus 7t speakers were still louder. Now, let's get into the game, I have selected the Livia map, which is a more colorful map according to me, and I will make sure that both the phones are on the same settings before we get into the game. So, in between the game, I'm going to do two different tests. One is on the normal HDR and extreme settings and the second one would be with the 90 fps.

So both these phones support 90fps on PUBG, so I'm going to compare both of them. So both the phones have the same settings, and they are both on the classic setting as well. But here when I see the same landscape in both the phones, I find the OnePlus 8 pro a little better. Now. This must be because of the quad, HD plus display and also the colors, because it supports more colors up to almost a billion colors and uh.

The OnePlus 7t supports only 16 million colors, so I'm going to try and jump on the same location so that both the phones have the same landscape, and we can make out the difference. I would also be doing a scope test ahead in the video, so there is going to be a little of gameplay also, and I'm going to fast-forward the gameplay. But if you're interested in the gameplay, you can click on the top right hand, uh three dot menus on your YouTube, app and click on playback speed and according to your taste, you can adjust the speed of the playback. I have got two dp-28 guns. Now this gun is perfect in the Livia map, so we are going to test them out, and I have got the same scopes as well, so I am going to test it at a 2x.

Let's see how that goes. You can now disengage the slope playback by going to the same settings again, and I think there is an enemy here. Okay, so I think I have managed to get the same helmet as well as the other player. So I am good to go for my test now. Now, I'm going to put them side to side in the same landscape so that it is easier for us to see the difference between both the displays.

What do you think of the displays? One is a 1080p and the other one is a quad HD plus do. Let me know in the comment section below, though one is a 120 hertz refresh rate and the other one is a 90 hertz refresh rate, but that does not compromise on screen quality at all. Looking at both the phones side by side, I can say that the OnePlus 8 pro is a little sharper, but that's obvious because of the quad HD plus. We will also see the same thing when the OnePlus 8 pro is brought to FHD plus in the latter part of the video. But what I also found is the color reproduction of the OnePlus 8 pro is far superior compared to the OnePlus 7t.

Now next, let's look at the scope test. Both have the same gun and the same 2x scope. Let's see what happens in slow motion. So what do you think about this? For me, it's the OnePlus 8 pro definitely faster there. Now, let's look at a 90 fps test as well.

Let me slow it down for you. So as expected, the OnePlus 8 pro is faster in getting the scope up even at 90 fps, compared to the OnePlus 7t. This is definitely due to the processor and the graphics. One more thing which I'd like to highlight here when you put down the frame rate, 90fps PUBG also restricts the graphic clarity to smooth, which is not that pleasing while gaming. So I can easily make out the difference between the HDR setting and this one, which is the smooth setting.

But then you do get faster fps. So it's your choice for this one I have set both the phones at FHD plus, so the OnePlus 8 pro is also at FHD plus and, let's see which one starts faster, so the OnePlus 8 pro still starts faster. Now I do understand that there will be less load on the processor due to uh, not pushing a lot of pixels, so the FHD plus setting on the OnePlus 8 pro should actually be better uh compared to the earlier test which we just performed. But with that we lose a little of clarity, though the phone still says that you know you can go up to HDR and extreme settings because that's how it is, and it's also available on the OnePlus 7t. So I would not complain too much, but you can still see a difference between the quad, HD plus and the full HD.

Let me skip this for you and do a fast-forward now, just to be sure, I'm again going to check on the graphics and make sure that they both are on 90, fps and smooth, and I will be doing this test only on 90 fps and do note that the OnePlus 8 pro is at 1080p or FHD plus, which is similar to what we have on the 70. Now for this test, I have got the scar-l guns, and I am going to do it without a scope, not even a red dot and let's see which phone gets. The aim assist faster, even at the same exact resolution of both the phones, the OnePlus 8 pro is still faster, and I would definitely choose the OnePlus 8 pro over the OnePlus 7t when it comes to PUBG gaming. Now, let's talk about the battery train. Both the phones were at the same settings, except that the OnePlus 8 pro was at 120 hertz and quad HD plus, and it has drained only one percent more than the OnePlus 7t.

So I'd say that the OnePlus 8 pro is better at retaining battery while gaming, but then you do have warp charge 30t on both the phones. Now one thing to highlight here that, while charging, if you continue to play such heavy games like PUBG there, there will be a slight heating to the phone and after a point of time, you would want to disengage from charging. But then all phones do heat up. So I'm not complaining too much here, but just to highlight. That's all from me.

Thanks for watching and do let me know in the comment section which phone was your favorite.
