OnePlus 9R Long Term Review After 3 Months

Ready OnePlus 9r, a phone which sits in a very confusing spot, and a lot of buyers are in dilemma at which phone they should buy, because the competition is tough and we, as a user, gets a lot of choices in this price category. So if the OnePlus 9r is a right and value for money phone for you at 40, 000 price point, let's find out in this video starting first with the build and design. Then I am a fan of this frosted matte black finish and in design. It's very minimal, which I like talking about the materials, then OnePlus didn't compromise and furnaces glass sandwich design with aluminum frame and corning gorilla, glass, 5 protection on both front and rear in-hand feel is very comfortable, and it feels premium when you use the phone and the weight of this phone is moderate, with 189 grams, which also helps to make the phone more comfortable, and you will get a slight curved edge on the rear which improves the grip of the phone. So, overall, I can say that the design in hand feel and comfort is great in this phone, and you are getting what you should deserve at this price. The display is top-notch here, and it offers a 1080p AMOLED panel 120hz HDR 10 and 1100 nits brightness.

So outdoor visibility is excellent, and I have no problem with the brightness of the panel well, you can also enjoy Netflix content in HDR and even in general trust me. The media consumption has been outstanding so far, and credit also goes to the solid speakers of the OnePlus 9r for a great overall media, viewing experience, you will get dual stereo speakers, which is pretty loud, and I always enjoy these speakers as well as the quality of this beautiful display. The viewing angles are excellent, with deep blacks and contrast ratio is on point two, and also I haven't encountered an awful tint issue here. So the overall display experience is very nice. Performance is very smooth here, and I can assure you one thing that we can use this phone for the long term and this phone won't sweat when it comes to performance.

Even you know high-end performance, I mean so far in my 70 days of usage, it's been terrific. Maybe this phone doesn't give you a heaven like gaming experience, but it isn't bad by any means. In fact, it's very good. I mean I can play GMI at max graphics settings without any frame drops and lags, but definitely you can play better with a snapdragon 888 processors, which is available at the same price point in other phones, and you may see 870 processors in more, cheaper phones as well. So when it comes to processor to price ratio, definitely OnePlus 9r is not the best option, but it's still the great option to consider- at least in my opinion, mainly because of the software, because just a solid hardware will not provide you the same great performance in long run.

You also need a great good supportive software, and I can definitely say that oxygen OS of OnePlus will give you a great software experience, even in long run, because now, in one plus, eight and above series, you will get three years of major android updates and four years of security patches, which is actually very good news. Now. I know that many of you may say that the current oxygen OS is not that great, especially when we compared it to two three years old oxygen OS but see. The point is that it's still better than what other OEMs is providing you currently, especially the Chinese OEMs. Well, on the other hand, it's also true that nowadays it's hard to predict the future of the oxygen OS, because we heard we know that you know in coming future.

The oxygen OS is going to merge with OPPO's color OS, which might be a nightmare for a lot of one plus fans and tech enthusiasts. But for now I will still consider a neat and clean ad free and close to no bloatware experience of oxygen OS over any other Chinese OEM software. All right now coming back to the performance, so it's not always about the ram and the processor. The software also plays a very important role when it comes to the long run performance and I believe that OnePlus 9r will do the job, even in the long run, if everything will go smoothly by the software department of OnePlus. Well guys, before moving to the camera and battery department, I would love to tackle the top most asked question of the OnePlus 9r.

That is there any hitting issues in the OnePlus 9r. Then, in my unit, definitely not, not even in the initial stages, not even now I haven't encountered any heating issues in the OnePlus 9r battery is one department where I am completely satisfied and happy with this device. I mean I easily get six and a half to seven hours of screen on time, sometimes even seven and a half hours of screen on time on 120 hertz enabled all the time, and if I switch to 60 hertz, then I can easily get more than 8 hours of screen on time, which is actually very good. And if you talk about the charging, then you can charge your phone from 0 to 100 under 40 minutes, which is very cool. So from both point of views I mean from charging and from battery backup.

This one is excellent. Now a lot of people are concerned about the camera of this phone. Then, if I will like, if I have to explain the camera of OnePlus 9r in one line, then I will say that the camera of the OnePlus 9r is very much similar to the OnePlus. Not and the price of OnePlus not is between 25 and 30 000. You know rupees and this phone cost you 40 000 rupees.

So definitely it's little unfair, because OnePlus could have given us a better camera hardware, and also they could have worked harder on the image processing of the camera, but they didn't so overall in photos. This is not the best smartphone which you can get. I mean in 30 000 range in 40, 000 range. You can get a lot of phones with better photos, but in videos this phone is, I guess, one of the best. Not in you know, iOS world, not in apple world, but definitely in android world.

It is very good. I mean I compared this with ICO 7 legend, so it's definitely better than ICO 7 legend. So it's definitely going to better than uh iq7 as well, and also ICO.7 is better than me 11x. So yeah I mean those have very equal type of quality, so it's definitely better than those phones. So I have no doubt when it comes to video quality but yeah when it comes to photo quality, you may get better image results in other phones, but still it's not bad by me, and I mean you can still click some decent photos.

This phone starts struggling in the low light or even in the artificial light where the light is not sufficient, then this phone definitely starts struggling, but here are some photo samples of both Guam and the stock camera. One more thing, can is not. You know a game changer here in one plus 9r, I tried a lot of versions, but I haven't seen a lot of you know: improvements in most of the time like 50 percent Guam is better, but 50 percent stock camera is better in very bright conditions. If you want to click human subject, then go with Guam and in you know, little uh low light conditions go with stock camera, so yeah now, let's see some photo samples with well. I want to give a pro-tip with the example of this image.

Now you must think that the dynamic range is not excellent because most of the people just point and suit and take the images. Now, if you tap on the darker side in this particular image from the same phone from the stock camera, then you can get the result like this see. Now there is a day night difference between the previous image and this image. So all the thing you have to do is to tap on the darker part of the image. Now, in the viewfinder you may, you know, find that the skies and the sun is overexposed, but in the post-processing you know, the algorithm will fix that, and you will get a much better result so always tap on the darker side to get better results.

So this is my review of OnePlus 9r and now, if you talk about the conclusion, then I would definitely highly recommend you, this phone under 40 000 rupees green signal from my site, because it's not the best, or you will not get anything. You know out of the box extraordinary in this phone at this price segment. But if you see the whole thing, then it's a perfect all-rounder, it's a perfect all-rounder under 40 000 rupees. So definitely I would recommend you to go with this phone. But if you like, if you are someone who doesn't care about software, and you need performance and camera, then iPhone 7 legend is a good option and if you're someone, you know who prefers Samsung phones, then s20 Fe is also a good option for you.

But if you want a good software descent, camera battery display design and all those things you know like if you want a longer phone, then this one is for you. So that's pretty much it from today's video and this is Audra, and I am Audra ditty and if you enjoy- and I am Audra if you enjoyed what you watched then definitely smash the like button and also share this video with your friends subscribe to my channel.
