OnePlus 8T vs OnePlus 8 Speedtest Comparison By Techniqued

Hello friends welcome to technique. This is normal here and in this video we're going to do the sweetest comparison of the new OnePlus 8t with the recently launched OnePlus 8. So these two devices have a lot of similarities. Both have uh the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 outscore processor both have 12 gigs of ram. Now the OnePlus 8t runs android 11 out of the box. While we have received the update for the OnePlus 8 uh, the oxygen OS 11.

, so both have the android 11 and both are oxygen. Os 11 both have 12 gigs of ram, and again you can see that both are in same condition same connected. I will just turn off the Bluetooth on both the devices turn on the airplane mode and uh, we'll just uh turn on the Wi-Fi as well. So you can see that now, both the devices are in same state now, we'll just clear of all the apps you can see here we have cleared off all the apps. Now we'll do the speediest comparison.

So we have our 16 apps, lined up so uh, we'll open the apps and see which app, which device uh loads them faster, and then we'll see the memory management. So remember both the devices have 12 gigs of ram. So just before starting you can see the uh background app. So, let's start with uh asphalt 9. , so both have the gaming mode turned on.

So you can see here. Gaming mode is turned on both the devices. Now, let's see if there is an improvement in terms of speed with the new version, that's the android 11 and OnePlus 8t. In fact, the OnePlus 8 was marginally faster than the OnePlus 8t, so that is quite surprising. Actually so now, next, let's move on to the next app that's uh temple run.

So, let's see which loads of temple run faster, exact same time, no difference. So there's no difference in terms of uh temple run. Opening and next is a play store. Again. Eight was a tad faster chrome.

Again, eight was faster. Facebook almost same time, Twitter again. Next at same time, Instagram almost same time, you could say not much of difference. Ghana, again 8 was faster than 80. Now, Amazon, probably 80 was attacked faster Flipkart again, 8 was faster file manager x at same time, settings again exact same time.

YouTube 8 was faster, Gmail 80 was faster, camera 80 was faster and finally maps, so here 8 was faster, so you could see that a couple of instances uh both uh, did the same uh time a few instances. In fact, a larger number of apps will open faster on uh the OnePlus 8 compared to the OnePlus 8t. Now 80 was also faster in few apps. So here you could see that the OnePlus 8 did a marginally better performance than the OnePlus 8t, so newly launched device uh did have a bit uh slower speed than the OnePlus 8. Now next is the memory management.

Let's see which all the apps are retained, so maps retain camera is written, Gmail is written, YouTube is written, settings file, manager, flip card Nana is written, Instagram is written, Twitter is written, Facebook is written, chrome is written. Placed to this retain temple, run uh. You can see that it is retained and finally as follows. So it is also region, so you can see that memory management no difference both are exact, same uh in terms of speed and performance. Now app opening was a tad faster on the OnePlus 8 when compared to the 80.

So from this speed test, you could see that the day-to-day apps which we use on a regular basis like social apps, uh email, YouTube shopping apps.
