OnePlus 8T Charging Test (Speed Test, How Long 0 to 100% & How Hot Does It Get🔥)

Sabotage everybody welcome back to the channel in today's video we're going to test the speed, specifically, the charging speed on the brand new OnePlus 8t OnePlus announced that they are able to charge the device from zero to 100 in about 39 minutes. Now I did my testing the information's a little close to that, but I also want to share with you guys the thermals, how hot does it get when we're charging it? This is TK, and this is the charging speed test on the OnePlus like and subscribe and always make sure to hit that bell icon so that you're always notified to whenever we have new videos on the channel. So what I have in front of us is two different chargers. This is the McLaren 30 watt charger that OnePlus announced and made available for the McLaren edition devices, and we've been using the 30 watt charger for some time now. Well, the brand new OnePlus 8t comes with a 65 watt charger that is capable of charging it at a very fast speed. That's also due to the fact that this device actually carries two batteries: it's not a single battery.

So essentially, it's charging two smaller batteries, totaling up to 4 500 milliamperes. At the same time, to be able to give us that speed that we normally see here so helping us a control. The thermals b give us the fast charging from 0-100 in literally under an hour, obviously they're saying basically 39 minutes, so we'll go ahead and do this test, and we're going to check it up at different increments. Now, for this test, we're going to replicate what OnePlus is claiming we're going to allow the battery to drain all the way down to zero and, of course, start charging, and we're not going to turn on the device at about five minutes. The battery temperature goes up to about 85 degrees Fahrenheit and about 15 percent.

On the battery now jumping over to about 10 minutes, we went up to about 91 degrees Fahrenheit and have been about 34, so we're doubling about the amount of battery now at 20 minute mark. We also went up to about 95 degrees Fahrenheit and about 65 percent, which is pretty good over 30 over 50 in 20 minutes.30 minutes we get to about 95 degrees, temperatures regulating, and we're up to 88. Now I was able to reach 100 at about 42 minutes, not 39, but that could have been a factor here and there, because I kept touching the display, but at the end of the day, at about 100 87 degrees with 42 minutes total. This gives us the charging speeds that we normally have actually expected from other companies with the 65 watt charger and again, very fast charging. Also, temperatures are controlled, not once that across 100, which is very, very nice and keep in mind no wireless charging.

But at this rate we don't even need wireless charging. You can go seriously from zero to 100 over 80 in about 30 minutes and, of course, 100 and 42. If you were hoping for wireless charging, when you first heard about the OnePlus 8t, I feel like a faster wire charging, always trumps a wireless charger only because it takes us so little time to just go back to 100 and that's something that I've been enjoying on my find x2 pro for quite some time and the fact that OnePlus is now actually carrying the same type of technology with dual batteries inside it's very, very nice. It is superfast and everything about this phone just says speed. You have a fast 120hz refresh rate.

You have a fast charging, 4500 milliampere battery batteries, technically um in this device, and of course I don't think we are going to be missing a wireless charger on this device.
