OnePlus 8 Pro vs OnePlus 8 - Special Edition Unboxing! By ZONEofTECH

Welcome to a pretty special video, so, as you can probably tell I, have two big thoroughly baked boxes in front of me, both containing a secret OnePlus device. Now, as so, you might know, OnePlus has now announced their brand-new phone, someone plus aides and the OnePlus 8 pro. There hasn't been an eight light. Like we've seen leaked, we've been the concept on that based on the leaks, but unfortunately there's no eight lighters, only an eight pro and a one plus eight, but both of them seem to be some really impressive phones. So without any further ado, this is going to be my live, and boxing of these two well boxes, one of them very likely containing the OnePlus AIDS and the other one very likely containing the OnePlus 8 pro so get all those snacks ready, sit back, relax and enjoy I'm, really excited up and open these boxes. Yet by the way.

So this is going to be live unscripted for me as well so enjoy okay. So, like I said, we have two boxes, so I think I'm gonna start with the one on the left. Okay, so, first I have to say this is not how the retail box of the 1+8 or the pro would look like. This is essentially the reviewers kids that reviewers are getting and I have to say this is honestly one plus, so one plus thank you. One plus does the best review kits on the market.

It doesn't compare to anyone, so yeah you'll see what I mean in just a second okay. So on the front, we have never settled on pluses motto and I, really like this. It's really Trippe effect that we get by the way we do. You have a 1 plus logo on the left, just in case you're wondering what's on the left-hand side of the sleeve and nothing on the back right so never said so. So this is a magnetic tab by the way, really cool stuff opening this up, and we have the 1 plus 8.

So this is the 8, which means that the other box, this one, is the 8 Pro right. So let me just remove this one out of the box and now, let's take a closer look at what this thing really is right. So this is essentially a booklet which contains all the information regarding the 1 plus 8 and yeah. There you go. These are the key selling features: flux display, design, camera performance, warp charge, Wireless charges here as well, but that's on the 1 plus 8 Pro anyway.

So this is the 1 plus 8 fluid display 6.65 inches HDR 1090 heard through fresh rain. So realistically, the 1 plus 8 is actually very similar to the 1 plus 70 Pro from last year and the 1 plus 7 pro so 6.65 inch display. We get 8 MP resolution and there we go I really like the design of this booklet, ultra-thin body, 8, millimeters, thin, triple-n's, camera module, 16 megapixels, ultra-wide 14 megapixels as the main camera, and then we also get a brand new macro camera, as you probably know, under 1 plus 70 Pro, for example. The main camera had this fascinating mechanism where it would actually adjust the focus to impose a focus out close. So you would actually be using the main camera for macro shots and not a dedicated macro camera that 1+8 has right.

Let's see what else we get here, so macro camera, smart, Pat capture, stabilization, we get up to 12, gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage. Also, 5g supports, so both OnePlus phones actually get five G. So why don't you try 5g, also snapdragon 865 and, of course, you FS, 3.0 storage, Wi-Fi 6. We also get a work charge, which is one plus is extremely fast charging. So this is the same one as on the OnePlus 70 pro, so you can actually charge the phone up to 50 percent in just 22 minutes, which is quite, quite surprising, oxygen and Was.

The arc team 2.0. So a few updates to oxygen OS, which users of the previous one plus phones, that is the OnePlus 70 and the seven will also be getting it's a full list of the specs that is essentially a reviewers guy. But once again I have to say I love the way OnePlus does these usually just gets. You know the phone in a standard box and OnePlus does all of this for their community and the rivers as well. So honestly, OnePlus amazing job alright.

So let's see what else we get inside this, so we get first, we get some cases, so we get this bumper case, 1 plus AIDS sandstone bumper case cyan. Alright, let me just open this up. Oh, that's a nice one! That's really a really nice one, so the texture is very, very interesting. It feels like I tried to describe it. It feels like sandstone, but it's plastic.

At the same time, you know like a very, very sturdy plastic like I, cannot really bend. This see how pretty cool case right so and the next thing that we get is a second case. So this is the 1 plus 8 nylon bumper case. Let me just open this one up as well, so this was actually one of my favorite cases 4 into 1 plus 70 Pro. This is the one that I was using a nylon bumper case and there's also another nylon case, which is a bit slimmer than this.

That's also one of my favorites, so nylon, dense and stone, and this and finally week adds to the actual phone. Oh, you made realize that this is. This box looks a bit strange. It's very, very tall, it's very colorful! Well, the thing is this is actually the retail box. So if you really like this box, the 1 plus 8 box, this is the one that he will be getting when you buy a one plus 8, and it's a really, really interesting style.

How do you like it? Alright? So that's pretty much it! You don't seem to have anything else inside this. Let me just close it up, put it to the side, and now, let's open up the 1+8 right. So, as you can see, we have this plastic wrap, but we also have this pull tab here right. So let me just open this up. Oops, right I was actually not following the arrow, so actually open this on the other side, but anyway, so we have one plus eight logos on the front.

Oh, this is nice. This is so nice, so the logo is reflective, and I can also feel it's on the box, and we have one plus eight branding on the side, and we have one plus logo on the top and sorry on the bottom and nothing on the top. Let's open up the box itself, that's nice, such a nice presentation, Auto Center, the boxes so Clara I think this is the best one I've seen. So we get the phone itself right. So this is the brand new glacial green color of the OnePlus.

Adel has a look at this in just one. Second, then we have this tray here, which contains, so we get a 1 plus and eject tool with you know the robot face really cool I'm, not going to open this one up, I want to keep it pristine, but essentially this is a thank-you letter from the CEO. Then we also get some 1 plus stickers. These are actually some stats in terms of emissions. Honestly, one plus we have the best.

The best box is the best manuals. The best presentation that I've ever seen I mean I believe we just bought a galaxy called recently and not even that has this had this presentation. We get a 1 plus case for free in the box with never saddle branding and if you guys can see this, but it looks really, really sick. Hopefully you can see it's on the red there we go never saddle. Then we get the famous OnePlus charger with the red cable, and then we get the charging brake, which is that 31 plus warp charge, 30 tees and a 30 watt fast charging which can charge your phone up to 50 percent in just over 20 minutes.

Okay, so I've cleared up the desk. I just want to take a quick look at the 1+8, the regular aides and then obviously a more in-depth look. That's an it's a really, really nice color. Let me just remove all of this Wow, not sure if you can see the shimmer effect that to this color gives you the pending on when or where the light hits it really, really nice, but yeah I don't want to get too carried away because I'm, just unboxing them now, and then I'll give you guys my first impressions after I use these, for you know a bit longer than 30 seconds. So, okay, this is the one pulsate like I said: let's move on to the Letterbox this one, which is the 1 plus 8 Pro, pretty kids right.

So, let's open up this box, as you can probably tell they look identical. So unless you open these up, you can't really tell which one is which, so we still get the same, really cool effect on the sleeve itself. Ok, the same magnetic tap here, really nice, and then we get 1 plus 8 Pro. So again, this is the booklet which contains all the info. You need as a reviewer for the 1 plus 8 Pro.

Alright. So let's have a quick look at this, so multiple say: Pro flow display, quad camera. Let's have a triple count: performance warped charge, oxygen, OS, specifications of Emily and contact so feel free to pause. The video. Yet on my own, so this one has the OnePlus 8 pro has a 120 Hertz super famous play at full resolution by the way so- and it also has an M EMC- essentially a motion compensation chip. It basically adds frames in between videos that you're watching even on YouTube, which means that you can basically convert the videos that are in 30 frames per second on YouTube into videos that are at 120 frames per second, and everything would be significantly more fluid that way. Quad 80 plus resolution converging a teeny HDR boost this playmate actually rate it a display on the 8 probe, as the best display on any smartphone would up to I believe 1308, a brightness of just quite nuts. Are you got 1,400 yeah 1300, some brightness, so quite curious to checking out the 1 plus 8 throws, so you get quad cameras now, so we get a 3 X telephoto module? We get an 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle module, we get a 14 megapixel main camera, and then we also get a color filter camera which can presumably improve the quality of your photos, 14 megapixels, main camera, so fewer details on the Smarted capture performance, the performs is basically identical between these two phone, so you get the same processor up to 12 gigabytes of RAM on both and also Wi-Fi six OLD r5 memory. This is I believe this is one of the differences you get up into your five memory on the OnePlus 8 pro I believe it's lpddr4 on the 1+8 and something really cool on the OnePlus 8 pro is that you also get fast charging wireless fast charging.

Actually, so you get Wireless warp charge 30, which means that in 23 minutes in 30 minutes sorry, you can charge the OnePlus 8 pro to 50% by wireless charging, which is pretty nuts much the exact same fast charging. As on the regular one +8 when it comes to cable charging and I like wallpaper, so most of the other stuff is the same long story short. The main difference is between these two phones that you get a 120 Kurt display on the OnePlus 8 pro you get fast wireless charging on top of just fast water charging, and then you also get four Kara modules with that brand-new color filter our module, which I'm quite curious to test out. So let's take a look at what we get inside this baby right. So the first thing that we get is a case.

This is the one plus eight pro sandstone bumper case cyan. So pretty much the exact same case that we got for the one plus eight. The only difference is that this is brigade pro same color, same texture, same everything, going to be off. This is so nice should work really well with that new blue color on the regular monster I'm here to see what color we got, the eight pro in okay. Next up, we also get a carbon bumper case, so this is quite a bit different from the nylon bumper case that we got for the 1+8.

So this is a brand-new case. Design I really did like this, so the material is very, very smooth, very smooth to the touch, but it's also quite thin, so you're not sacrificing on thickness in favor of a durable case. Yeah, it's really dribble. As you can probably tell love this, it is a bit slippery, so I do prefer to nylon just because it has a bit more a bit more grip, and then we get to 2 1 + 8 Pro box, which just says 8 on the prompt, so I'm going to be able to tell that this isn't a pro. Unless you take a look at asides, which do you say, 1 plus 8 Pro, so 1, plus 8 Pro on the left, 1 plus on the right, nothing on the top and 1 plus logo on the bottom right.

So let me just remove everything from my desk and let's unbox, the 1 + 8 Pro right. So pretty much the same story, or at least a very similar one. Now this time, I'm gonna, do it right so I'm, just going to open up the box, and we get a very, very similar experience with the 1 + a pro and what looks to be the exact same color. So let me just put it to the side and I believe we should get the exact same accessories. So we get a case.

We get the same charger. We got a same, cable and I just want to see if we get anything else inside this package here, but it doesn't seem so that's good, even if you get the regular one, +8 you're, not really sacrificing or losing anything in terms of what you get inside a box, you still get a same case in the same accessories. Now, let's take a closer look at the 1 + 8 Pro, so you Size, the performance of our industry. Fingerprint sensor recommends using screen protectors or 1, +, + or official partners. Alright, let me just remove this.

There go the 1, + 8, Pro, again the same color as on the 1 + 8, which I really do like this. So the thing is I really want to spend some time before talking about his phone I want to spend some time with it, so this has been pretty much it in terms of in boxing I was a huge fan of the 1 + 7 Pro, another big fan of the 1 + 70, Pro and well. This is quite a bit different, as you can probably tell the pop-up camera module is now gone, and we have an N display camera cutout, which in a way it is a step backwards. But OnePlus said that, while the phone is not water resistant by the way, so you get ip68 certification again. Wireless charging so yeah that Kara was definitely not cheap to manufacturers.

It was quite expensive, so this will also add those features in water resistance and wireless charging was something that one poles couldn't really do in the past, while also having that pop up carrier module and keeping the price the same. Okay, so, like I said, I want to spend some time with this, but from the looks of it, the OnePlus 8 pro might just be the galaxy s, 20 ultra killers. We get 120 Hertz at full resolution. We get insanely fast to are charging insanely fast wireless charging. This thing is even faster performance, wise than the s20 ultra or yes, 20 series.

The only main difference between them would be the camera, so I'm really curious to testing on the camera and letting you guys know how the performance of the camera really is.
