OnePlus 8 Pro Unboxing Launch Day Gifts : Black NOT Blue By Jabber Tech

What's up YouTube: this is jab attack. I apologize for the audio in advance. We got to do what we got to do these days, and I'm not in my usual studio, but I still had to bring you guys the unboxing of the OnePlus 8 pro. These are the launch day, gifts that we got now. Let me know down in the comments below if you were able to score the launch day gifts. It took me quite a while.

I missed it on the first round. I was lucky enough to kind of go back about 20 30 minutes later, and there was one available. So this is it if you're one of the lucky people to get the launch day gifts. This is what you'd get you get their new headphones and, of course, the wireless charger which I'm really more interested in versus these headphones. But let's just get into this unboxing and check it out.

Let me put these guys aside for just one moment now. I chose the black one, not the blue, just because everyone out there got the blue one for review and I wanted to be different. It's been a while, since I got a glossy black phone and I want to come back to black. So this is what the packaging looks like. I actually like their packaging.

It's unique it's different. It's something that well kind of is one. Let's just go ahead and unbox this and see what we get inside here. I do like this packaging. It is something different.

It is something unique and let's take a look at this, I'm really excited about the OnePlus 8 pro. If you guys have been following me on Twitter, I said: OnePlus you'd get my money if you improve the camera and if you brought us wireless charging- and you did just that- so you did earn my money. I stand by my word. Let's see what else we get in here, the usual books and stuff, definitely pretty cool. You get two of these plastic screen protectors.

I'm going to be putting one of those screen protectors on, but let's see what else we get in here we get a bunch of different manuals and booklets and pamphlets. There are some stickers. You control your friends with, and I think that's basically it pretty cools guys. I like these stickers, very cool, indeed, quick, start safety and some other information. I'm really not going to be checking that out anytime soon.

Here's a nice little case. Now again, I will have a lot more cases coming for the OnePlus 8 pro, I'm really happy to see they threw in a case, here's the cable and your warp charge, 30 chargers and that's basically everything in the box. I'm surprised we don't get a one plus sim ejection tool, or did I miss it yep there it is sim ejection tool from my collection. Let's put that aside and check out the phone together again. This is the all glossy black edition and let me tell you guys: this is awesome, awesome! This is the all black OnePlus 8 pro and just take a look at it now it doesn't have that matte finish on the back, I'm a little disappointed about that, but I think it looks pretty cool.

It's not like a jet black that I thought it would be. It kind of almost looks like an eggplant type of deal. Furthermore, it reminds me of those cars that turn black to blue. You guys know what I'm talking about. So this is the OnePlus 8 pro.

Let's boot this up, let's go ahead and boot this up, one plus. Let's put that aside for just a second let it do its thing and take a look at the wireless charger as well super excited about wireless charging. This is something that a lot of people think is a gimmick, and they don't use it. But unless you have tons of wireless chargers, all around your house, you don't really know how useful it is, and this is it now. The one thing I did see on other reviews that I have to agree with, and I'm pretty sure OnePlus had a reason like they didn't want people switching out the cables or whatnot I kind of wish you did have a removable removal section on the charger just because, if I want to put it through something, it's probably going to have to go around the desk rather than through that little hole in the desk.

But this is their charger guys. You have a huge vent right on the back, that's a fan, and then you have an intake here that keeps the phone away to get that heat out from the phone itself and if we just do a little test, pretty cool you have this nice rubber stop right on the bottom, so it's not going to go anywhere. I'm just excited to see wireless charging personally before I get into the phone itself. These are the next gives that we got from OnePlus. This is our bullet headphones.

Now, I'm probably not going to do a review on these headphones, but I will give you my thoughts down on twitter, so make sure to follow me on Twitter. If you want to find out what's going on or if you want to ask me any questions about these devices, let's just take a look and nice packaging again so pretty cool they have a nice build to them very, very nice, build I'm actually pretty shocked. These are run you, I believe it's only 50 bucks, retail so for 50 bucks. I think they're giving you a nice pair of headphones. Let's just pull these out and yeah.

The cable is super nice, very high quality, feeling, cable, here's a little power button, USB of course, and here's your volume rockers right there. So a premium feeling headphones for sure, I'm going to put those to the test a little later, but we're all here for the OnePlus, but right off the bat guys. This has a nice weight to it. It feels really nice, and I just like the overall design I do kind of wish they just beefed up the phone. A little gave us a larger battery and got rid of this hump.

But when you put a case on it, it's really not going to be all that big of a deal. Here's your slider switch, and I'm pretty shocked. More manufacturers haven't copied this. This is something that I've been jealous about from iPhones and OnePlus is really the only one that has been including it on their android phones, but overall guys. I think they did a really nice job with this OnePlus 8 pro the screen looks awesome, but let me just pause the video drop in all my information, and then I'm going to be right back, I'm just going to finish up the installation, but something I'm definitely disappointed about, and I should have read the fine print on OnePlus website.

Dual sim support is not available just, yet that's a huge bummer, every one plus phone that's come out had dual sim right from the gate. So as someone who has multiple phones, I'm a little disappointed, but most of you guys won't be, but just to let you know, dual sim is not ready. Just yet supposedly it's coming with a software update but, as I always tell you guys, buy a phone buy tech for what it is today and not for what it's promised tomorrow. Let's just hope, OnePlus delivers on their promise and brings back dual sim card support. Obviously, there's still a lot of setup and there's a lot of testing to be done.

I am going to have my full review. I'm going to have a bunch of videos coming up on the OnePlus 8 pro, but I just wanted to show you guys the all-new black edition, because, as I mentioned, blue is everywhere, we don't all want a blue phone, so this is what the black one will look like. It is pretty shiny, and obviously you're going to get a lot of fingerprints on it, but thankfully the included case is going to help at least for right now we need a case in our life, and this is just kind of like a little gel case. It's going to be all right for the time being, but I will have some case reviews coming up in screen. Fingerprint readers have not always been the best for me, but this one is super superfast.

Just take a look at that and of course you do have faced unlock if you need it, but this is just superfast. So far, I'm hardly even turning on the screen, and it's already recognized my fingerprint. This screen is definitely one of the best panels that I've seen in a long time, especially on an OnePlus device. So well done to them for that, and it's just a very, very smooth, very nice, looking phone in my opinion, but so far right out of the gate. This phone is super, super snappy and the screen is, I have to tell you.

This screen is one of the best panels that I've seen. Is it going to be able to replace my Pixel 4 XL? You guys just got to wait and see. That's basically if I'm going to go into more depth.
