OnePlus 5 vs Apple iPhone 7 Plus

Big surprise, with a one plus five with just how shockingly similar look to the iPhone 7 plus at least that's what an official leaked photos of the phone would have had you believe. After you see the phone in real life, you realize that the similarities there, but it's not as shocking as those images might have convinced you, both the 1 plus 5 and the iPhone 7 plus, are made out of aluminum with the buttons also made of metal. The wonders also features a slight curve on its back, which makes it fit more comfortably in the hand both phones are also slippery, but the OnePlus more so in terms of physical size. The OnePlus 5 has smaller bezels and a narrower footprint than the big and bulky iPhone. What the one to surprise still lacks, though, is water protection, while the iPhone 7 is guaranteed to withstand water damage. Both phones have their fingerprint scanners conveniently located in the front right below the display.

They look like physical keys, but you can not actually press them. You just tap them and, while both the accurate, the OnePlus fight feels slightly faster, both the 1 plus 5 and the iPhone 7 plus 16.9 displays, with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. No bezel is full screen magic here. A full HD display is a reasonable choice of resolution going above. That gives very little real life improvement, but will take a toll on the battery life.

Both have great lively colors, but they do differ in technology. We have an AMOLED screen on the OnePlus and an LCD one of the iPhone 7 plus the amulet on the OnePlus 5 has deeper blacks and great viewing angles, while the one on the iPhone is brighter and easier to see outdoors, the iPhone also has 3d touch most Apple apps support, innings very useful in the keyboard tap on it harder any transforms into a trap, fan that allows their precise positioning of the cursor. The OnePlus lacks such a functionality and there is the jealous Iron effect. All that a defect on the OnePlus one, sir, seems to have mounted the screen on the Campus sideways. So this issue is present on every single one plus phone.

It's annoying, but is it a big problem? We don't think so. The OnePlus 5 features a clean, Android interface that the company calls oxygen OS. The iPhone 7 plus runs on iOS. The key was with a 1 plus of speed and no bloat, while the keywords about iPhone are buttery. Smooth oxygen.

Os is an exemplary Android interface with useful customization options. You can swap the navigation keys or have on-screen navigation buttons. You can set custom shortcuts for long pressing a button, and you can use gestures, custom icons and home screen. Layouts are also easily available. While you have no such customization options on the iPhone, but then there is the software update situation.

Software updates on Android are perpetually late, a few months and sometimes never arrive, while iPhone updates are guaranteed to roll out practically on day one, and you know that you have fun. There will be secure and up-to-date for years to come. You pick which is more important to you for gamers, the iPhone remains the gold C phone, and it's not just it slightly better performance. Yes, it does load of games faster, but it also gets more and better games earlier and some great games never even arrived at Android. Both the 1 plus 5 and iPhone 7 plus do not support micros, expandable storage, because the companies considered that adding slower cards would triple the experience.

Luckily, you have plenty of native storage on both the base, one plus five ships with 64 gigs of onboard memory and for $60 more you can get the 128 gig model with more RAM. The iPhone starts at 32 gigs. Will you pay more for more storage, $100 extra? In fact, at its top configuration the iPhone costs nearly $1000 double the price of the OnePlus, then there is availability. You still cannot use the one plus five for CDMA carriers like varies on wireless and sprint in the United States. There are no such limitations on the iPhone it's available everywhere.

Both the iPhone, the OnePlus, have dual cameras on their backs and a new portrait more doublers, the background to give photos a professional look. But first, let's look at images from the main camera. The OnePlus has a slightly wider lens of 24 millimeters one, while the iPhone has a 28 millimeter one. We found the one on the iPhone a bit more Universal. If you take pictures of people, 24 millimeters is a bit too wide.

Pictures from the OnePlus are no, but it's all, but often times they come out with a lot of noise in them. While the iPhone captures sharper clearer photos, it's easy to recognize photos from either one just by the color. The OnePlus had very vivid colors and bright images, while the iPhone has this almost film-like, look to it with cool greens and slightly darker exposure. The iPhone also has the cool light photos and know where the phone has when it comes to portrait mode, it's fiddly on both phones. You need to be a few feet away from your subject, but not too far.

Even if you meet those conditions, though, that an OnePlus portrait mode takes a few extra adjustments to work in terms of quality, it's a toss up on some images. The OnePlus looks vastly better, while on others, the iPhone has more detail. Take a look at the photo samples, both phones, support, 4k, video recording, but in real life.4K video seems to like any form of stabilization on the 1 + 5, which makes it appear shaky and not pleasant to watch at all. You have a single bottom firing loudspeaker on the 1 plus 5. Then it gets very, very loud.

It might just be one of the loudest phones. We have ever heard, and it definitely dwarfs the iPhone 7 plus in terms of how loud it is. Then there is the audio jack situation. The iPhone does not have an audio jack. The OnePlus has it.

We appreciate Apple's efforts to bring this into a wireless future, but in the present the lack of an audio jack is still a considerable drawback. We have had no issues, we call quality on both phones, so you should not worry about not being able to hear your color in that one important call from your boss or from that company that wants to hire you. The OnePlus 5 features the 3300 William battery, while the iPhone 7 plus rocks the 2900 William battery cell we've been using both phones for quite a while now, and we can safely say the both are among the better battery performance out there we get a full day, even with more intense use, but need a phone is exactly in two day battery life territory. The iPhone still likes quick charging, and it takes an excruciatingly long time more than three hours to fully charge it. The OnePlus 5, on the other hand, is ? charged.

It charges have been nearly half the time that the iPhone needs. Should you buy any of these phones for this signature tricks, portrait mode and dual camera in particular, we don't think so. In many ways all this still feels like a better. So here is the grand total. The one plus five feels well-designed.

It is fast, has a clean and blood free interface and wow. Its camera is no great. Furthermore, it's still very good. Any rocks great battery life. However, if you have the money it feels like the iPhone 7 plus based is slightly better found more fluid.

In daily use with more powerful chip, better quality, apps and games with a slightly better looking screen and what it's guaranteed to get updates.
