Android 11 Comes to Redmi Note 9 Pro! So what's New?! By C Butler

Hey, what's going on guys, hopefully you all are chilling right now. It's your boy, serrano! Welcome back to the crew. If you're new do me a favor hit the like button and the subscribe button as well, so you can get notified for more videos just like this, but I've had the Redmi Note 9 pro for about nine months. Now, it's been exactly nine months now, since I've had this device, what it been a beast when it was released um, but now it's only 205 dollars, but it did get an update from 12.0.2 to 12.0.5 and with that update they did release the android 11 software. So I kind of want to get into the details of that update. Obviously, I've been following this device.

I've had it for a while now, so I kind of want to introduce to you. My long-term review talk about some of the things that some people would normally talk about when they had a device for you know several months nine months in my um situation, but this device is absolutely a beast uh. It still runs really nice. It's got that eight nanometer processing chip, which is um. You know it's this, the 720 g, which is capable of I have Fortnite on here.

I have Call of Duty on here asphalt.9 all seem to run perfect as well. Pub gum your normal games, but this device offers more than what the normal device would offer in this price point. It kind of took the uh, follow the steps of device manufacturers like Huawei and honor in the sense that they give you those large uh camera specs. They also give you some perfect pro modes inside the cameras as well, so I kind of want to just cover my experience using the android 11 with the 12.0.5 on here. That would be a huge boost, and I definitely appreciate you for doing that. So, let's just jump into this device, it's coupled with six gigabytes of ram. It also does have these arena 618 for the graphics and as well as for the storage, it's going to have 64 gigabytes. Now there's 60 hertz um for the display, so nothing crazy when it comes to the display, but when I'm checking on this device right now, my latest update that I did do have on here is the mini 12.0.1.0, so um it updated it. It did update just now.

I just went uh, uh through the device, and I did see that we did get the android 11 updates, which was um. You know. To my surprise, I was pleased with that. Xiaomi's devices did have that android one program um a few years ago.2018 they had it they're, not releasing that android one program anymore, but they do get updates to the um the newest upgrade. So I just want to kind of you know, touch on that kind of talk about the 64 megapixel camera, which also does have night mode in here I did download Guam, which on here is crazy.

The details that it brings out in your face with the HDR mode is absolutely crazy. Um this device also does have pro mode on video, so you can tailor the video if you're a YouTuber. You can definitely get that nice shot where you can blur out the background and the foreground as well. So I definitely like this device for video recording and shooting outdoors on different aspects: um outdoor lighting, um, indoor lighting, um night mode. It has a large variety of features like time-lapse, 64 megapixels, night mode, slow motion, but with the android 11 it's its pretty much going to be the same thing.

It's just going to be streamlined with better performance. All the animations look, the same you're getting those huge um buttons on the control center that um you do have to take advantage of with the new interface and the um mini integration of the OS that they did provide so um. They have a ton of features on here, like NFC, nearby share floating window battery savings mode, uh screen recorder, just to say the least screencast, and the IR blaster at the top is something that devices aren't getting um in 2021 Xiaomi seems to be the only people that are catching on to the fact that that's a really uh useful feature in any phone. So if, if um other companies can just look and see that the IR blaster is something that people really take advantage of on a daily basis, they should probably integrate that as well. But it's not something that I really see from other manufacturers.

Gorilla glass 5 on the back of here, so it's just a really solid, build quality when it comes to the overall feel in the hand, it's got that plastic railing, so you will notice that you will notice that it will have that plastic railing, but it was released with obviously the android 10 and now that it does have the android 11. It's got that 6.67 HD plus display full HD plus display. So it's going to appear that 395 pixels per inch when you're doing content, gyroscope sensor, uh compass, accelerometer. Everything of that nature, as well as that 720 g uh snap chatting processor, with the Kirk um 360 in there. So it's clocked in at 2.3 gigahertz for optimal speed, you're, definitely going to get perfect speeds on this device as well. Now, as far as the notifications um, there is a LED light at the top of this device.

Um housed directly above the um punch, hole cutout on the top of the device, so 64 megapixels, eight megapixels for the wide angle, two megapixels for macro and two megapixels for portrait, we're also getting that 16 megapixel for your selfie shots as well as apex, which is gonna, be in and incorporated with the Bluetooth um for perfect sound ideal, sound. It's definitely going to sound good you're going to get that NFC feature as well as a headphone jack on this device. So I'm truly pleased with the overall performance that I've been getting. We also do get a large battery on this device. So it's going to be extremely large.5 000 um 20 William hour battery, so um like, like I said, uh the overall uh usage that I've been getting over the last um nine months has been absolutely amazing, so Redmi um decided to push out the android 11 to the Redmi Note 9 uh pro along with the Poco x3 NFC. If you haven't watched that video, yet I'm going to leave it right up top, so you can check it out right now, but um as far as the over performance that I've been getting with the um, the Xiaomi note 9 pro it's been absolutely a beast as far as that.

So, like I said, uh just perfect quality. When it comes to the cameras. I really do like the cameras for this guy. You could shoot pretty much in any environment night nighttime, daylight, um indoors outdoors. You won't have any issues when it comes to the cameras and as far as the cameras they're going to give you HDR on the photos auto or off on or on for the videos you're going to get that um.

Furthermore, you know the six times zoom four videos, but for the photos. Furthermore, you're going to get that 10 times zoom for the photos as well. For the portrait you're going to be able to adjust the aperture all the way up from f 1.0, all the way up until um f16. So they did a perfect job when it came to the pro features on this camera, because you're going to get like time-lapse, 64, megapixel, night mode as well and slow motion mode as well as short video and panorama, and you can also scan documents with this device. But when it comes to the overall features, as far as like what the um the camera has to offer for your know like shooting with the camera.

It's definitely going to be something that you would really enjoy, because not only do they give you the 1080 30, they give you the 1080 60, and they give you the uh 4k um 30 modes as well on this device. So you will be able to enjoy the 4k 30 frames per second as well as 720 30. If you did want to go low or lower and save storage on your phone and stuff like that. But there is a macro camera, as well as a movie frame mode on him, the gaming performance. Let's change gears, let's change, dials um! This device is going to be rocking, obviously that six gigabytes of ram depending on what model you get you can get the 64, or you could get the 128 actually but um.

As far as my storage, when I'm looking inside my storage here, and I'm checking out my device, I have everything updated as far as the apps I'm going to go into storage and kind of see what we are working with right now, but as far as this device, if I go into about phone right at the top, it says that I have 64 gigabytes of internal storage on this device.44 used, so I have about um. You know roughly 14 GBS left of space to use so um. You can use a SD card slot for you to designate it to for your pictures and photos in which you would save a lot of storage as well as moving your apps to the SD card. So uh. You know.

I really like the fact that you can move your apps as well as that, so we do get the OCTA core max 2.3 two gigahertz it for the um six gigabytes of ram. It's going to be really nice as well. This is the stable version of the 12.0.1 as well. Like I said before, so you know it's been clean. It's been spotless.

I can't, I there's nothing. There are no complaints off the top of my head. I have with this device every time you're scrolling on the interface with android 11. You get that vibration. When you go down or up the toggles and the control center are spotless.

The control center is really polished. Uh. You get the qr scope code scanner on here you get the battery savings mode, reader, the the know the reading mode for you to help your eyes and everything like that. Dark mode is on here. So with the implementation into implementation of the android 11.

I could definitely say that this device has gotten better over the last nine months. So I definitely appreciate you guys for checking this video out and showing your support and love and appreciation as well. But this is the Redmi Note 9 pro after you know, um having it for nine months, and I definitely could say that the overall user experience for this device has been absolutely solid. So I definitely appreciate the fact that they did roll out 11 on here. It's been it's a beast and with the themes that you can incorporate with this device and the customization, it's absolutely bananas, so I just want to give you a big um, show some love and show some support.
