OnePlus 3T & 3 vs Google Pixel vs iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge- Battery Discharge Speed Test!

Hey, what's up guys, this is SHU mesh and today, I'm going to do a very interesting battery discharge. Speed test in between all these premium smartphones I have just disconnected the charger. So, let's start the stopwatch and, as you know, I have already done this type of steps. Before this time, I have added the OnePlus City and both Samsung Galaxy, s7 and s7 edge. I, simply don't have the pixel Excel or iPhone 7 plus. That's why those phones are not included in this test.

Now let me introduce these phones one by one. The rightmost smartphone is, of course the Google Pixel. Then you have the iPhone 7. This smartphone here is the Samsung Galaxy S7, the smartphone in the middle is the 1 + 3 T, with a bigger battery than that the 1 + 3 we have here and last, but not the list. The smartphone on the left is the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge.

Now, let's turn on the displays one by one and to make this test fair. I've set the same brightness on all this displays, the parallax wallpaper effect of the iPhone 7 and the Samsung devices are also disabled. Let me actually go through the display setting of these phones. I have disabled the auto brightness or adaptive brightness features, and also any other add-on features like always-on display, smart stay, ambient display or screensaver live wallpaper, etc. So this test is as fair as it can be, and I've also disabled, any kind of power saving modes.

These phones have different brightness levels because I've set the same brightness on all these phones. Now the battery you have on the pixel is of twenty-seven hundred and seventy million power lithium-ion iPhone 7 packs a nineteen hundred and sixty million power lithium-ion battery. You have a three thousand William hour battery on the Galaxy S7. The battery rating of the latest, one plus three T is 34 hundred million power lithium-ion the older one does three packs or three thousand William hour battery the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge here boast of the biggest battery, which is of 36 100 million bar I, also want to mention that I've kept the location, Wi-Fi and auto-rotate on to create a real-life scenario and also the sync and NFC are kept off. There is no SIM card inside as well, so I've tried my best to make this test as fair as possible.

Now the first thing I want to check is the screen on time that is, I will keep the displays on for approximately one and a half hour and check the amount of battery discharged after that, I will check YouTube, Facebook Maps browser camera and, of course, hardcore gaming and compare the battery discharge. So this video is going to be very, very interesting. Just give it me guys I'm back the time on the stopwatch is one hour and thirty minutes. So let's check the battery status on this phone. First, we have the Google Pixel at 91% that is 9% battery loss in 90 minutes.

At this rate, you can expect more or less thousand minutes screen on time that is approximately 16 and 1/2 hours, not bad at all. Next, we have the iPhone 7 at 86% battery, though you have a small 4.7 inches screen. The battery of nineteen hundred and sixty William hour is quite small. You can expect around 10 and half hours of screen on time. Next, the Galaxy S7 is at 90%, so at this rate the expected screen on time is around 15 hours.

Well, the battery level just decreased by one more percent, one plus three days battery level is at 91%. So again you can expect 16 and half hours of screen on time, considering the bigger display. It's really very impressive, one plus three lost 11% batteries, so the expected screen on time is 13 and 1/2 hours. Last, but not the least, we have the s7 edge at 91%. So again, the maximum screen on time you can expect is 16 and 1/2 hours.

I want to mention here that the battery usage sometimes depends on the battery level. You have some devices drain battery faster when the battery levels are low. Now the next thing I want to check is the screen of battery discharge. That am I will keep the displays off for at least eight hours and check the amount of battery drained the time on the stopwatch is one hour and thirty-two minutes so scheduled guys I'm back. So let's turn on the displays and check.

So after eight long hours, pixel is at 84% battery. That is seven percent battery loss. Next we have iPhone 7 at 81. That is just five percent battery loss, which is I, think the lowest here the s7 is at 81, that is 8 percent battery loss, OnePlus city lost 6 percent, now at 85, well just turned 84. One plus three is at 81: eight percent loss and s7 edge lost seven percent now at 84 percent.

So, despite having the smallest battery, the screen of time of iPhone 7 is the highest guys. The next thing I want to do is hardcore gaming. Let's start with Nova 3. The most graphics, intensive game here and I will keep this game on for round one. Our friends, it's ten and half are already on the stopwatch, and before I show you the battery levels, let's quickly check the temperature status well, the pixel is at 39 degrees, Celsius maximum, which is quite normal.

No overheating I will say the iPhone 7 is that 38 well 39 degrees Celsius. So again, the heat management of this phone is quite decent. Considering you have nova 3 playing for one hour next, we have the s7, which seems quite cool. Well there you have 38 degrees, Celsius, so very close to ISO, 7 or pixel. The 1 + 3 T, is that 37 degrees, Celsius maximum I, think, so that's really impressive.

It's cooler than other 3 devices I have just shown you next. The one plus three is that forty degrees Celsius so considerably hotter than the one plus three T, so the new treaty offers bigger battery and better heat management. Lastly, the s7 edge is that just 37 degrees, Celsius, so no heating issue on this phone as well. So after one hour of hardcore gaming, you have sixty-two percent battery level on the pixel twenty-two percent battery drainage. So at this rate you can expect around 4.5 hours of continuous gaming. Next we have the ? seven at just 47 percent battery level, 34 percent battery drainage.

So at this rate you can expect maximum three hours of hardcore gaming clicks. The s7 lost 19 percent battery now at 62 percent, so it can handle hardcore games for more than five hours. Now. I'm really very impressed by the 1 + 3 T. It's now at 70%, that is just 16 percent battery loss, which means more than 6 hours of gaming with a full charge.

The one plus three is at 4:59 percent that is 22% battery drain 4.5 hours of continuous hardcore gaming, the Galaxy S7 edge with the biggest battery here lost 17% batteries, so 5 point 5 to 6 hours of continuous gaming. Again, really very impressive. Next I want to check another game. Its Pok?mon Go which is another battery demanding game. I will play this game for around half an hour.

Well, 30 minutes have passed and again before I show you the battery. Let's check the temperature. This game generates lots of heat so on the pixel, its maximum 43 degrees Celsius. So it's quite hot as expected. Next we have the iPhone 7, which is surprisingly very, very cool 37 degrees Celsius maximum.

Next, the Galaxy S7 is at 38, well, 39 degrees, Celsius, not bad at all. It's under control, no overheating like ?, seven, whereas one plus 3t is at 43 degrees, Celsius, just like the pixel. So it's also very, very hot. Now, let's check the one plus three, which is also very hot at 43 degrees Celsius, the Galaxy S7 edge is at 38 degrees, Celsius maximum, so again same as s7 and pixel much cooler than the one plus devices and the Google Pixel. Now let me quickly mention the battery status.

You have 47 percent battery on the pixel 15 percent battery drain, 34 percent on iPhone 7, 13 percent battery drain 54 percent on the s7, just eight percent battery drainage and 58 percent battery level on the 1 + 3 T, that is it lost.12 percent of its battery 1 plus 3, is at just 44 percent 15 percent battery drain. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is at 60 percent. That is just 7 percent battery drain. So in this game one plus devices and the pixel lost considerable amount of battery next I'm, going to try the YouTube app well half an hour of video watching on YouTube a tub eight percent battery on the pixel. It's now at 39%.

Next, you have iPhone 7 at 23 percent, 11 percent battery loss and 45% on the s7 that is, it lost.9 percent battery 1 + 3 T is at 50 percent 8 percent battery drain 1 + 3 S battery level is just 35 percent, now 9 percent battery drain, and you have 53 percent battery on the s7 age.7 percent battery drainage, so the Galaxy S7 edge, is leading followed by 1 + city Galaxy S7, Google, pixel, 1, +, 3, ? 7 has the lowest battery level next I'm going to do a 4k video recording and check the battery usage. All these forms are now set to record 4k videos and, as you know, one plus devices limits the 4k recording up to 10 minutes. So I will come back after 10 minutes stay tuned. Now, let's have a quick look at the battery levels. You have 29% on the pixel 10 percent battery drain, 14 percent on the iPhone 7 9 percent, less battery 39 percent on the s when just 6 percent battery used 45 percent on the one bus, City, 5 percent battery used and 29 percent battery on the 1 plus 3, it lost 6 percent battery and, lastly, we have the s7 edge with 47 percent battery level.6 percent of the battery is used by the camera, so 4k video recording its sub the highest amount of battery on the pixel, and it also becomes very, very hot, with more than 50 degree Celsius. Let me show you the breakup.

You can pause and check the next app I'm going to try is the Chrome browser. Now, let's keep the display on for 20 minutes. Well right now, the battery level on the pixel is 25 percent on the iPhone 7 it's 10 percent. Next, you have 36 percent on the s7 42 percent on the OnePlus City 25 percent on the 1 plus 3 and 45 percent on the s7 edge. The battery usage is 4 percent on the 1 + 3 + iPhone 7 Google Pixel, 3 percent on the 3 t, + S, when 2 percent on the s-1 edge.

Next, let's play another game. It's called in mind where that it is a real game, as we just mentioned, it's a virtual reality game. So it's going to eat up more battery. I will test this for 20 minutes. As you can see guys.

The battery level on the iPhone 7 is now just one percent 9 percent battery drain. You have 17 percent on the pixel eight percent drain, 28 percent on the s-1 8 percent battery usage, 37 percent on the 135 percent used 18% on the 1 + 3 7 percent battery drained, and you have 39 percent on the s7 age. Just 6 percent battery used iPhone 7 is going to switch off anytime soon. So let's wait for a while. Well, ultimately, iPhone 7 died.

The time on the stopwatch is 12 hours and 46 minutes. The next thing I want to test is the Google Maps Navigation. After half an hour of navigation, you have 11 percent on the pixel 23 percent. On the s7 32 percent on the OnePlus City 11 percent on the 1 + 3 and 34 percent on the s7 edge, the battery usage is very close on all these phones. The apps I have opened so far are running in the background.

So, let's scale all these apps, let's now place subway surfers well: Google Pixel, +, 1, + 3 are about to die. You have 5 percent and 3 percent, respectively 18 percent on the s7 27 percent, on the OnePlus City and 30 percent on the s7 edge. Let's check how long I can play a temple run, 2 on the 1 + 3, with the 3% battery left. Well, the 1 + 3 died and the time on the stopwatch is 13 hours and 55 minutes. The Google Pixel was at 5% and right now it's at just 1%.

So it's also about to die. So we can conclude the battery performance of the Google Pixel and the OnePlus three are very same though you have a bigger battery that displays bigger and the overall battery performance is same as the pixel s7 is at 14% and 1. + 3 shows 24% battery level, 27 percent on the s7 edge. Let me actually show you the battery usage in detail. You have the F 7 here and the pixel.

Let's wait for a while for the pixel to die I'm going to keep the displays on for a while before I move the next step and as you can see, pixel is shutting down. Well, we know which device is going to win this test to speed up the battery drain. Let's play the Nova 3. Once again, so after around 33 minutes of Nova 3 gameplay, we have 5% battery on f7 9% battery loss, 16% on the 1 + 3 t, 8% loss and 18% on the s7 age, 9 percent loss, so 1 +, 3 T, is really catching up, and I hope you remember that Pok?mon Go 8 around 12% battery of 1 + city and just 7% of s7 age. So, if I didn't include that game, the scenario would have been different: 1 + city code 1 this test also that game ate up around 8% of the essence, battery and 15% of the 1 + 3.

So without that part, there could have been a tie in between F 7 + 1 + 3. Well, after approximately 15 minutes of Pok?mon Go gameplay, we have 1% battery on the F 7. So it's about to die. You have 11% on 1, + city and 13% on the s7 edge, as you have seen as Ben just switched off. So now it's in between 1 +, 3 T and the s7 edge now to make the test more interesting.

I want to actually turn on the battery saving modes on these forms. Let's kill all the apps running. In the background, and though you have two options on the s7 edge, I will turn on the standard, one that is not the ultra power saving mode, which is the best power saving mode I have seen on a smartphone, but this time let's choose the standard mode for making. This test fear well, I'm, going outside for a few hours, and before I go I want to set the screen timeout to 10 minutes on both these phones, because you have maximum 10 minutes timeout on the Samsung device. The timer is now at 14 hours and 49 minutes guys I'm now back so, let's check the batteries.

The time right now is 17 hours and 6 minutes that is 2 hours and 17 minutes bust. The Samsung device lost 3% battery now at 10 percent where's, the OnePlus flagship is at 8 percent, 2% lab, so I will say very close performance. Let's turn off this power saving mode and try to kill these phones. I am start with this video for around 2 days now, as I mentioned before the ultra power saving mode, you have on the Samsung device, it's just outstanding. It can offer 10 more hours of battery backup.

The last thing I want to try is 360-degree videos on YouTube which will eat up battery faster well after 22 minutes on YouTube 360. We have just 1% battery on the OnePlus City and 5% on the s7 edge. So definitely s7 edge is the winner. Here it's what mentioning OnePlus device lost around 7 percent battery where's the Samsung device lost 5 percent, so kudos to Samsung, for this amazing smartphone, and also thanks to one plus for fixing the poor battery performance of the one plus three. It's now as good as the Samsung flagship, 1 + 3 t is dying if you are a 1, +, 3 user and considering upgrading to the 3d model, it's worth it.

So we are ultimately at the end of this very tiring test. Thanks a lot for watching this, full video I really appreciate that. If you liked my fault, don't forget to subscribe and keep in touch. If you are interested, you can also check a battery charging speed test in between all these premium devices. This is chub cash.

Bond, exciting off have a nice day, guys.
