My iPhone XS Max after using it for exact two years By Stefan Svartling

Okay so now I've been using my iPhone 10s max for exactly two years, and I still love this phone, it's still so powerful and so fast for what I'm using it for, and it has an excellent battery life still and so on, and I really love the cool looking device. This iPhone was actually the first iPhone I have ever been using cases for I don't really like to use cases before. I think these beautiful phones should not be hidden away in a case, but after have dropping my Samsung Galaxy s8, plus directly on the concrete and destroyed the display on that and so on. Then I decided to when I buy the iPhone 10s max. I will use a case on it, so I started buying an apple leather case, an original apple leather case and, as you can see, it's well-used and so on. I have all this and I have some sandpaper on it and so on, because I wanted to feel the leather a bit better, and I wanted to have.

It looks more degraded if you know what I mean. So that's why I did some sandpapering and also some oil on it and after a while it started to be a bit too much destroyed. As you can see, so I decided to finally buy a wallet case that has a normal case with magnets, so I can use this without the wallet itself, and then I can also remove this and use only this when I like, and also then when I need to use a wallet. I just put it in here with magnets, and it also has pockets inside with a magnet here. I like that.

So now I have that case for as long as I can have my iPhone 10s max and my iPhone 10s max still has an excellent battery life. So let's go into settings and in the settings you go down here to battery, and then you choose battery health. As you can see here, and here you see that this phone still has 92 percent of maximum capacity of the battery. That means that I can definitely use this for at least one more year, and that would be great because it will be a more like a hub for my Apple Watch Series 5 and my coming iPad Air 4 that I've ordered, because these two devices, the iPad 4, doesn't have LTE. It only has Wi-Fi and the Apple Watch needs a phone an iPhone to be connected to.

Then I can have this as a hub, more or less sharing my internet with an internet hotspot to the iPad and always maybe be on a wireless charger or something and be always with me as a hub. Then I don't need to buy an iPhone, because I have an iPad that is awesome to use and also an Apple Watch to answer on messages and phone calls and everything I already do on the Apple Watch. So that would be great because the maximum capacity is still 92 percent, and I know that you can use a phone at least more to about eighty percent of the maximum capacity. Then you maybe get some. Eventually, you get some problems with the battery and so on, but still with 92 percent.

That's excellent, and I actually did some an tutu benchmarks to see how good this phone still is and, as you can see, the score was 393 9566, and then I could see some specs about it. You see it's an iPhone XS max. It runs on iOS 1401, and it has an a12 bionic chip and so on, and it also has a four gigabyte of ram memory. So all that is not changed, of course, since I bought it, but that means that this phone scored at 15th place in an tutu. Yes, there is a lot of devices before this.

For example, iPhone sc2 is better iPad, mini 5 and so on, but, as you can see, iPhone x max another phone here with 256 gigabytes of storage has a 12th place and mine on my phone. Only 15. And you have the norm iPhone 10s there. So the score is quite good, so around here 12 to 15, maybe it's better than iPad Pro 2, for example. So I think that's more than enough to be like a hub.

For my other devices, the apple series 5 and my iPad 4. Ipad 4 will be my main device and do everything with and so on, and the Apple Watch will be for some phone things, so this will be on hub only so I think that score is more than enough for that. So hopefully I can at least use this one for one more year, maybe even longer. So I really like that. Another thing we can check is the storage of the two years.

We can go into settings, and we go down to general and then the iPhone storage and, as you can see here, we have now 42 gigabytes of storage used of 64 gigabytes. This is a 64 gigabyte version and maybe that's not so good, because now I have some problems when doing video editing in suffusion and so on, because the storage is not enough, but I have solved it by using my Trina server and so on for storage of video files and so on. So I have actually handled this quite good anyway, but, as you can see down here, suffusion uses 3.6, gigabytes of storage and I don't have any suffusion project in it and so on. So this is a suffusion bug. The only way to free up this 3.6 gigabyte of storage is to uninstall suffusion and install it again. So I don't like that bug.

Actually, I think that's not good for a phone with only 64 gigabytes of storage, the iPad f4 I have order, has 256 gigabytes of storage, so that will be better and also have USB-C, so I can use SSD drives and hard drives and so on. So that will be awesome, but with this phone I can only use my local network and hard drives on that and so on my friends server, but suffusion needs to see over this bug. But who knows? Maybe this is an iOS bug. I don't know, but suffusion doesn't have a project now, and I have done some cleanup in the settings of suffusion and so on. I have checked the folders when there is no media there or anything, and we have 3.6 gigabyte of storage use anyway. Furthermore, I think that's something awful.

So all in all the 42 gigabyte of used storage uh will be enough until I get my iPad Air in a week or so that was about my iPhone 10s max after two years. There are no scratches anywhere, because I have used the case and so on the only thing it's a bit dirty under the case because I removed it now, but otherwise this is a perfect mint condition of an iPhone 10s mac. So I really like that and, as I said, this has been one of the best devices I have ever bought. It's great really, really great to have this phone so now my iPad 4 will take over the place for my main computer, and this will be a hub or something to have always with me for my other devices, but it has been a perfect device. I can highly recommend an iPhone 10s max if you get over it somewhere, if you can buy it.
