Google Pixel 5 VS 4a 5G VS 4a - Which to buy?

Welcome to Quick Tech News, where we keep you updated in the world of tech without wasting your time. Google just held their “Launch Night In” event, where they announced, among various other things, 2 new Pixel phones. The Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5. So what’s the difference between them, how do they compare to the normal Pixel 4a, and which one should you buy? Let’s break it down First of all, the Pixel 5 and 4a 5G both support 5G, the 4a doesn’t. Each phone has a different display, with the Pixel 4a’s display actually being the biggest by 0.2 inches. The Pixel 5 has a 90hz refresh rate whilst the other 2 stick to traditional 60hz The resolution is exactly the same on all three.

The battery is the biggest on the Pixel 5, then the Pixel 4a 5G and the smallest is on the Pixel 4a. The front camera is the same on all 3. The rear cameras are the same on the Pixel 5 and 4a 5G with a new ultrawide lens. They also both get some new camera features like Portrait Light and Cinematic Pan. The Pixel 5 has 8GB RAM whilst the others have 6GB The Pixel 5 and 4a 5G both use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G whilst the 4a uses a lower end 730G.

All 3 have 128GB of internal storage. Only the Pixel 5 has wireless charging Only the Pixel 5 is water resistant And when it comes to pricing, the Pixel 4a as you know is $349 which is still a great deal. The Pixel 4a is $499 which seems like a big jump in price, but I would say it’s closer to the Pixel 5 than the 4a as a phone. The Pixel 5 costs $699 which puts it up against some tough competition with the newly announced Galaxy S20 Fan Edtion and probably the upcoming iPhone 12 Mini. Are you going to get a pixel phone? If so, which one? Let us know down below.
