My 5 Reasons Why You Should NOT Purchase The Google Pixel 5 5G In 2021

Hello sometimes the truth hurts alright. Ladies and gentlemen and gentlemen and ladies, we are back at it. So in case you haven't seen five top reasons to pick up the pixel 5 I'll, make sure to put it in the cards above as well as down the description below, but for this video we're going to talk about 5 reasons why you should not get the pixel 5 here in 2021, so the first reason is going to have to be the screen. Yes, they made it better than last year's. We just have that hole punch right there for our front-facing camera, so it really doesn't get in the way of your every day-to-day tasks or watching videos or anything like that. But it's still a subpar screen for 2021.

It's a six-inch full HD plus OLED, with a smooth display, quote-unquote smooth display. Now this screen is supposed to pump out up to 90 hertz, but I'm enjoy the time it's rocking 60 hertz. So what that means is, since it switches back and forth between 60, hertz and 90 hertz is you're going to get a lot of stud letters, and you're going to definitely notice those stutters. So while scrolling through the Google snapshot, let me see if I can demonstrate it there we go. I don't know if you guys caught that, but basically, when it's doing something else, it receives a notification, or you got another window open it stutters, and it's like.

I said it's noticeable. Now the phone does come with eight gigabytes of ram, so with multitasking. It should handle it pretty easily, but it seems like it tends to struggle another thing about this OLED panel. Is it doesn't get as bright as I would like? I have polarized glasses. So when I'm looking at the device, even at max brightness, sometimes I have to take off my glasses.

So I can see the screen it's not because I'm blind or anything, but it's because of the screen, the brightness it just can't handle that California sun next on our list is going to be battery issues, and I know you're, probably scratching your head and saying hey handsome gadgets. Didn't you say that battery was awesome and amazing and a two-day battery in your previous video and yes, I did, however, what I have noticed recently, and I don't know why this is happening, but it doesn't seem to be holding as much charge as it did when I first got it now? I've charged it wirelessly, and I have charged it directly, and apparently I'm not the only one that has battery issues with their pixel 5. Now, even with those battery issues, I am still getting close to a day with mild use, but it's just not as great as when I first started using this device and to depreciate that fast in less than a month. That's an issue. The next issue is going to have to be the subpar flagship specs right now.

This is the latest and greatest that google has to offer they're bringing out their best and their best to me is pretty subpar. As I stated earlier, this has 8 gigabytes of ram, but it doesn't seem to be optimized very well. The processor is a Qualcomm snapdragon 765 g, which is a mid-tier processor. So, as I stated earlier, multitasking is kind of an issue. Now, if you're, the type to just have one application open, maybe browsing the web, maybe checking on YouTube, maybe doing a little dance on tick-tock.

I don't know what you do, then. The pixel 5 mid-range specs may not be an issue, but then again, if you buy this brand new you're paying 700 bucks for it, so a little better. Please so that now leads me to a lot of people that are subscribed to the channel they like gaming. They like mobile gaming. They like Xbox gaming.

Furthermore, they like switch gaming, they like gaming period. So since you got mid-range specs, your mobile gaming experience is not going to be that good plus the design of this can hinder sound performance watch I'll, show you what I mean alright, so I got it connected to the racer kimchi. So since we have a bottom firing speaker, and we have a speaker up top, but it's underneath the glass. Well, it's not that loud in this setup, because this right here it actually covers the entire speaker. So let me turn it up to show you.

You can only hear it out of this right here on the right channel. You cannot hear it whatsoever on the left channel. It's garbage man, but even mobile games tend to struggle on the pixel 5. I personally like playing asphalt, 9. And that is yeah.

It's a graphically intensive game, it's pretty fast-paced and all that other good stuff. But man it just takes too long to load on the pixel 5 and then the response is just it's just not a good experience and the last reason why you may not want to pick this up, or you may want to just hold out just a little longer- is that the pixel 5a it might just be right around the corner. Now for those of you that aren't familiar with the line. Basically, it's a much more budget-friendly phone. Yes, it'll probably have a weaker processor, fewer gigabytes of ram, maybe less storage.

The screen may not be as good, but then again they may just surprise us. The Pixel 4a actually has a bigger screen than the pixel 5. So we'll just have to wait and see plus another benefit to the pixel a line is they come with headphone jacks? I use my Pixel 3a XL for work. It's just so much easier to plug in my headset directly into the phone via a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. So there you have it my five qualms with the pixel 5.

But what do you guys think? Am I going a little too harsh on the pixel 5? Is it a great phone? Whichever side you take? Would you please leave a comment down below and let me know which side you're on, but if you're ready to buy would like more information on the pixel 5 5g leave a comment down below or click the link in the description don't forget to subscribe and click the notification bell to make sure you look for all these had some gadgets make sure to give this video a thumbs up before you leave, as it definitely helps out the channel quite a bit? Thank you and have a good one. You.
