MOTOROLA RAZR 2020 - Unboxing and First Impressions

Yo, what's up, everybody should boy floss back again with another video, and today we're gonna. Take a look at the Motorola Razr 2020. Now you can pick this up from Motorola comm I'll, totally link up in the description, the price on this one, one thousand four hundred and ninety-nine bucks now I know which I'm getting ready to say that price is of, and I know because I said the same thing, but after you add taxes, the real price is one thousand six hundred and thirty-three bucks. Now that's the definition of of and if you don't know what that means to get damn high. Alright Motorola I need John to calm down, but you all know my motto: you got to pay to play so, let's play alright. So let's go through all the features.

Now this phone is available in one color Wesley Snipes black. As of right. Now it's only available on Verizon. Let's go through some quick specs for the display. You got a 6.2-inch PIO LED panel with a resolution of 2142 by 876. Now that's 373 for the PPI patrol now, for the quick view display.

That's the front panel: you got a 2.7 inch. G OLED panel, with a resolution of 600 by 800, for the processor got the Qualcomm snapdragon 17 with the adrenal 616 GPU. What does that mean? In English mid-range specs broke mid-range specs. That's when an Android non VIP was the model skin. On top, you've got 6 gigs of ram 128, gigs of storage, no micro, SD card slot for expandable memory for the battery.

You got a 2500 10,000,000 battery that features 15 watt fast charging for the camera. You got a 16 megapixel, F 1.7 lens that has laser focus, no optical image stabilization. Now you also get bottom firing speakers. You got a fingerprint sensor: NFC Bluetooth, 5.0 and USB type-c charge. So what's missing from my flagship checklist, no IP rating, so the phone is not water resistant now, motor claims that is splash proof, but there's no official IP rating.

So you take this out in the rain at your own peril. There's no wireless charging! No dual speakers no face unlock and no headphone jack. That's just whacked, hashtag boss, I saw love. That was one thousand six hundred and thirty-three bucks. Let's see what it is.

First things first shout out to white shoes back in the buildings, my trees, calm down. Alright, here we go motor razor, 20 20. Now on a side note, if you are an old-school dude and you had a Motorola Razr, you know exactly why you're buying this phone. Alright, this is not the flashiest phone out right now. It definitely doesn't have the best specs you buying it, because you had one of these back in the days, and you remember that feeling of having a Motorola Razr, especially hanging up, remember when you got into an argument.

Alright, you ? and slam it down. Then the staff just kicking in right here, presentation, alert real nice I got a little motor, Brandon and I actually never seen the presentation like this look at the top. It says razor got in the little motor logo, very futuristic, I'm feeling it. You grab a little unboxing knife, I'm spider-man on deck right, listen! You could get that one more time we're doing from this side: cool, Wow! Okay! Here we go now this slides right out. Okay, check this out now, I didn't go to the preview, so I've never seen this before.

So this is my live impressions. Okay, nice wait on this. Let's see warning do not apply screen protector, as it will damage the display. Okay am I supposed to peel this off. It is okay.

Now, let's do the first fold. Okay, now that's a very satisfying fold. Okay, I, like that, let's unfold it okay fold, it back I will play with that in second shoe school. Let's see what else you get now. What is this? This is a nice case right here.

It says, raise on it. Okay, this is a nice presentation. Inside, let's see this is gonna, be your usual plug him and follow. This is going to be a 15 watt, fast charging brick. Now this is nice.

You got a 3.52 USB type-c, headphone adapter, alright Apple Pay attention. Let's see this is gonna, be on this yep now this is gonna, be some headphones. Let's open these up, real, quick okay, so you got some headphones on deck. Shoes can use Mac clothes and fate on MySpace I said you got some nice headphones on this look at these headphones with actual wings. Let's see, okay, you got plus and minus playing pause volume up and down, and it actually has a braided cable, alright little braided cable.

On that, let's see what else you get. This is gonna, be your USB type-c charging, cable, USB, a USB seat, but nice and braid it real, thick nice quality. On that, let's see anything else and a bunch of different sized ear tips and wings for your headphones. Let me told us in my pocket. Alright, this is real nice right, you're paying sixteen hundred bucks.

This is what you want to see. Alright, that's pretty much it, so now you could keep yourselves you want as a stand. If you want, let's see let's unfold this, if you want to just have this as a stand on your desk, I think I'm going to save this box; I, usually don't save boxes, but I think I'm going to save that back to the phone itself. Let's see that plastic on the front with all these phones. Nowadays, man, you have to, be gotta, be careful, peeling off plastic before you read the book and say oh you're, not supposed to peel off that plastic I'm going to stick a child I'll do that in a second.

In the meantime, right out of the gate got a little ridges on the back. I literally know nothing about this phone I love to eat before shoes kill my new headphones. I know nothing about this phone I'm going to figure out in a second there's, your camera in the front, a little LED flash, let's see. Okay! Now this flip is real nice. It actually feels a little more sturdy.

Let's see galaxy flex, flip I know this has a strong hinge, also for the galaxy flex, but the Motor. Let's see. Oh, this is nice hey. This is nice. Now, when you watch this off and you online, let's see if we got any power on this I did it.

When you watch this online, it looks real lightweight, it looks real delicate, but it's actually pretty heavy here's another Motorola phone just for size comparison. The screen is about the same size as a regular screen. Look at that boot up, let's get that boot up animation on deck, I check this out. This is nice. Now let me pull up my motor phone.

Let me open this one up: here's a regular phone! You see the display for yourself this one's a little more narrow, but it's definitely not small. Oh, this is nice I'm, feeling that here's a quick size comparison for you all, old-school dudes like me, if you had this razor, basically almost the same thickness, this might be one of the thinnest phones that I use. Yet nice and lightweight check this out sits right in the palm of my hand, let's see if I can unfold this with one hand. Oh wait, wait I get used to doing that bro! This is the eye. This is the Flex.

This is a flex phone right here. That hinge feels a lot more sturdy than it looks. Let me see if I could do my old-school but work. Alright, you too, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm going to get the hang of this all right. I'm going to pause the video.

Let me set the phone up, and it will breeze through the OS. Talk amongst yourselves, alright John still be back in not just put my information in the phone got everything all set up and I have to be honest with job. This phone is pretty sick, but is it worth 1,600 bucks? The answer is yes, and no as a phone. No, but as a flex. Yes, most definitely now I know the question everybody's going to ask me it's which one do I like better the Galaxy phone or the Motorola Razr, and for me, it's a no-brainer, the galaxy fold.

This is a flagship phone. This is basically a mid-range phone and what I mean by that is when your Galaxy fold, you got all your flagship features. You got wireless charging dual speakers, a flagship camera up, giant battery video lock screen, always on display. Like I said, this is a flagship phone, the razor, basically a mid-range phone, what a flagship flex, let's break it down! First things: first, the build quality all right now it definitely doesn't feel cheap. That's a nice little heavy weight to it, but one thing that I will say the same thing with the Galaxy flex: the display.

Alright, you have to feel a little of plastic feel to it. Not it doesn't feel like a straight-up glass display. It has a plastic feel to it, but one thing I will say about the Motorola Razr. You can see no crease ID on your galaxy fold. You can see a little crease if you look closely with the razor no crease at all.

So if you didn't know this phone fold it and somebody gave it to you, it would just look like a regular phone until you hit that fold right. That's that's! Why you're buying this phone you're not buying this phone for the best camera, the biggest battery, the latest processor and GPU you're buying this for new technology, alert that nostalgia, alert and the Flex factor like the Flex factor on this one is through the roof. Now you can't open this with one hand if you want I just kind of play with it and get the hang of it, but you can easily open it with one hand now. One thing I did want to mention. Also, I made a mistake when I was giving up the specs and actually does have face, unlock check this out, you see I'm gonna, I'm gonna power, the phone off.

Let's hit that power button now as I'm looking at it, bum just opens right up. I'm gonna. Do it without looking at it swipe up put in your PIN use your fingerprint sense if you want, but it does have face, unlock bong, real nice fingerprint sensor built into the chin, works 100% of the time superfast, no hiccups at all, just like that typical mortal world of fashion. So far no lag on this nice and smooth real nice now side. Note I, couldn't even activate this out.

I got this from Verizon wise motor I got it from Motorola. Let me say that again: I got it from Motorola, but it's for Verizon, so I'll call Verizon activate it, and they said you can't activate it until February 8th because it's not even loaded up in this system. So right now, all my testing I got to do is on Wi-Fi status. Anyway, let's not check out some basic features: let's go through the toggles everything looks good flashlights mobile data hotspot, blah blah blah. You got a nightlight, take it over to settings all your basic settings: privacy, your private DNS, your VPNs got Bluetooth and NFC.

Let's go to battery now 2500 to 10,000,000 battery, that's pretty small for a big screen like this, which is AMOLED, but we'll have to put that to the test. When I do my battery testing matter of fact, let's see you got adaptive battery, and you got power saving mode. If you want, let's go to display, and I got this on max brightness, it is pretty bright. It definitely looks like an AMOLED panel. You got natural boosted and saturated color choices, and you got a dark theme.

Let's try too dark theme. This is light and this is dark hey. This is the dark. Now I notice, I'm having a few hiccups with this, like I, put it on dark, and it's the long light. It is what it is.

We've figured out that in a minute screen, lock screen is a little security location. Like I said, you got the screen lock, you got fingerprint sensor face unlock, and you got some art Locker. Let's see anything else got to digital well, being monitored your scumbag activities online, no need to go through all of that basic settings. Let's go through the modal actions, real, quick! Ok, so you got the quick capture twist. It is twice now to activate your camera.

Let's go back gotta get used to this display. Alright, you got your flashlight chops. Alright, two chops turn on your flashlight two chops turn it off. That's a one-button navigation! If you want to use swipe gestures, I prefer the three dots on the bottom got your three finger. Screenshots! Alright, so you want to take a screenshot just like that.

Leave that on, let's say you got flip for do not disturb. Will that on pick up the salads leave that on to no need to try it out that immediate controls lift to unlock swipe the shrink, all your basic modal, just our modal features, you got your peak displayed, and I'll show you how that looks an attentive display, so basically what that is as long as you're. Looking at your phone, the display will be on now. Here's a check to display. This is definitely a fingerprint magnet.

You see right now, if I just tap on it, that's peak display. So if I got a notification, I'll just tap on it, and I'll peek and see it, so I got YouTube, see I'm watching the video check it out like that. Just like that, and you can swipe over I have to. Add some permissions. Take my device simple and straightforward.

Now why the screen is closed. You can also swipe down and hit your quick toggles change. The brightness activates a flashlight. Do what you do a matter of fact. Let me stop using two hands and get in the habit of opening this up with one hand there.

It is, let's see anything else with the settings. Yeah, that's pretty much it is like I said its run an android 9. Hopefully they updated to Android 10. Now one of the things that I don't like about this phone is the keyboard is pretty small. So if you want to type on the keyboard me I got big hands.

Let me pull up something real, quick, look, how small that is home, say it soccer I have to get used to that. Let's take it over to YouTube check out the display and listen to the speakers. Okay, now check this out. I notice, if I pinch to zoom I'll lose the top of the video now for the kind of videos that I like I need. The top I need to see the light bar bottom firemen speak up, not the loudest in the world.

We don't get the job done, Jesus hold on a sec hold on a second Chuck about men, ninja killer I. That's a wrap, of course on the sit home multitasking does work, takes it out of that. Let's check the web. Browsing speeds go to apple. com.

Well, let me set up my internet first hold up all right. My bad I had to log into Chrome. Let's try that again go to apple. com I this website, nice and smooth. Of course, you got split screen multitasking.

They set up on YouTube at the same time, ? damn apps at the same damn time, no problems with that. Alright! So now, let's take it over to the camera. If you swipe to the left, you got all your different shooting modes, so you got portrait, cut out spot color, night-vision cinema graph panorama and live filter. Now you also got your video modes, slow motion and time-lapse. All your standard settings, HDR flash time or motion photos you can switch from auto to manual mode.

Let's take it over to settings maximum picture size, 16, megapixels, video, 4k, all the way down to HD. You can also turn your shutter sound off for your clandestine photos and front-facing camera switch it around Bond. It is so 5 megapixels for the front camera 16 megapixels for the rear. Now, when I do my full review, I'll show you some test pitches and test videos? Alright. So now, let's see if we could get a few one-hand flips open up the phone.

Let's take it over to Instagram. That's how it's going to look we'll be close. Put the phone down pick it up easy flips! Put it back down yeah now after I use this for about a week, I'll be flipping it like a boss right now, I'm still trying to get the hang of it, but you're going to be able to do this easily with one hand, and it has that satisfying click when it gets close to the top like right. Now you see you don't move, it doesn't move it, but when it locks at the top has a nice little flick to it. I'm definitely gonna practice with this, though, overall fresh out of the box on a scale of 1 to 10.

This is a major go, but the price is just a little too savage, but, like I said you got to pay to play. If you want that flex factor you're going to have to pay, but if it's me and my money, and I'm working on getting a flex phone go with the galaxy fold, all right, full flagship status, the camera, the camera and the speakers not to mention the display size. That's why this is my favorite phone right now the best phone on the market Galaxy Note templates, but my favorite phone, the phone that I use the most that phone that gets me. The most love I had the most goals in oz, the phone that I've never had as much satisfaction using galaxy fold, but I can see this one. It's going to be right in second place when it comes to the Flex.

Imagine when you at that bar you sitting down like this, get a phone call. You want to check something out, you pop it open bung. This is sick. Okay, the Flex pack bonus is through the roof and the fun factor. Alright, if you're old-school dude- and you remember going like this now- this phone used to flick it out hard I.

Remember flicking this one so hard that I almost dropped it a couple of times, and you get a phone call flick it open. You finish. Slam it closed now it feels small to my hands. Now, back in the days, I was a master of hanging up the phone like I can't do it now, hang up the phone literally try that one more time mad hard I forgot how I used to do it, maybe I just had maybe I was used to smaller hands. Who knows, let's see if I could do it with this one? Are you talking on the phone call you just gotta prep it a little slam it down as far as accessories I don't know what's available just yet, maybe they got some cases or some pouches as far as durability, this one seems like it's going to be more durable than the Galaxy flex.

The screen feels a little more sturdy. The hinges feel a little more sturdy than when you buy the phone. You got fewer warnings, it doesn't tell you, don't touch it with your fingernail. Don't do this? Don't do that. Who knows maybe Samsung just being extra protective.

Who knows overall, though, I'm definitely feeling this I just wish. It had flagship specs for this flagship price, but it is what it is anyway. Motorola Razr hit me up in the comments. Let me know what you all think about this and if there's anything you all want me to cover specific when I do the full review, let me know one more quick size comparison light the thinness. Still they got two modal logos: I have to, keep it real.

This is definitely a fingerprint magnet, but the nostalgia factor on this one I just can't explain, but as an old-school dude like myself, I can't explain how dope this feels to have this kind of form factor and then flip it open and have a modern-day phone with a fingerprint sensor. Full touch screen and still flip it back throw this in your shirt. Pocket takes up no space, ID you're going somewhere or your cat's rocking those tight pants. You can easily drop this in your pocket. This is a go one.

More flip um hit me up in the comments. Let me know what you all think about this. One shout out to everybody: Rock will be on Facebook Foursquare Twitter Google+, shout out to all the Google gangsters. I see how holding down that Facebook page shout out to everybody hit me up on boxing and a special shout out, everybody rocks with me you all, it's the gram now I know that's where I'm at full time on it % full throttle and a special shout out. Oh, gee special shout out to everybody following me on Snapchat Flossie, underscore Carter, that's where I'm at and a special shout out to the notification squad. I see how, in the comment section early, hashtag, something oh yeah, one more thing: I almost forgot! Fellas ladies say it with me all: you all haters, all you all, please close your eyes. A picture: b-roll Boyd, floss I'm out deuces spot one to beam up energize. What is situation where everybody in the world uses technology if you're going to buy some of that technology? You don't understand certain things subscribe, the 4c card. It does reviews of all the latest technology, the iPhones, the iPads, the galaxies, the Samsung's, whatever the beats by that doctor guy, he puts his kitty cat in the video still for you something to look at.
