Meizu M6 Note Unboxing and First Look

Hey guys will solve this verge today. We're going to be unboxing and taking a first look at the maze note 6 now this is a unique product from maze. It's just been launched in the Chinese market has not been made available in India as of now, but we quickly unbox it and take a first look at the device and see what that looks like, so I'm going to remove the packaging. The first thing inside the box is the phone itself. Let me see if I can get this out. As you can see, it's in a nice gold color slightly pinkish like the iPhone rose gold, but you also have a dual lens setup, which is a vertical dual lens setup.

And if you don't look carefully, it looks like the fingerprint sensor, but it's actually dual lenses. The fingerprint sensor remains in the home button on the front. If I go further in I, do get a sim ejector tool, which is a different shape altogether. So that's definitely a good thing easier to hold I, guess, and it says maser design so whether they mean it for the sim ejector tool or for the device. Not too short, you get a quick start guide again.

This is in Chinese, I can't really read Chinese, as of now, so I'm going to leave that to the side, and then you have some. What I'm, assuming is warranty information, and I'm going to leave that to the side as well? Further inside the box is discharge, it appears to be a fast charger. It goes up to 12, volts and 2 amps, so 24 watt charger. Whether this device can support such quick charging we'll have to definitely check out, and then you also have a standard USB to microUSB cable. It is not a type C cable.

So if they're pushing so much voltage through a micro, USB port, well that's going to work or not. We are going to find out as well. So that's everything from the box. Let's take a look at the device itself, so I'm getting rid of this packaging got a few stickers on the hair. Okay.

So, let's do a quick one over the device. I'll turn it on, and while it's powering on, we will see that over at the front we have a 16 megapixel camera along with an earpiece, some sensors. You do have a 5.5 inch display. Now this is a 1920 by 1080p display below. That is the home button, which also has the fingerprint sensor.

As you can see, it has Fly mo OS, which is Males own operating system. If you look at the bottom of the device, we do get a speakerphone some screws for the assembly. You do have the microUSB port. We do also have the microphone, and you do also have the 3.5 mm headphone jack, so lot going on at the bottom of the device over the right over here you do have the volume buttons, along with the power button and on the top, is the secondary noise cancellation microphone. The display sort of stands out a little.

You can see it sits above the bezel on the side of the frame on the side. So it's quite protruded, but it's nicely rounded off, so it doesn't catch your finger at all. So in the back, you do have dual cameras. One is a 12 megapixel sensor with an F 1.9 aperture, a 6 element lens where the dual ISP and the ability to blur out the backgrounds. You also get a 5 megapixel sensor, capability of understanding and measuring the depth information.

You do have an f/2 aperture on this, a 5 element lens and the ability for panorama and depth mode comes from the dual cameras over here. Furthermore, you do have a cord, LED flash and hopefully like the transformer edition, it can go from left to right, which kind of looks nice on the device. Furthermore, you do have the maze logo over here you can see the antenna bands on the back of the device and some additional information at the bottom and that's about it, and so, as the operating system is concerned, the device is running Android 7.1.1 with their own flying OS. On top of it, it seems to be fast and responsive, but it is missing a bunch of Google applications, but it does come with this GMS installer, which will make basically google services or the ability to install google services really easy. So once you connect to Wi-Fi, you should be to sign in and download and install all sorts of Google applications.

The left is where the SIM tray is and on the back, are your dual 12 megapixel cameras, each with its unique feature and then also like the maze of transformer edition. This one has the LED going from left to right. So you can probably turn that on in a particular format, but you do have a quad LED flash. Then you have the maze over here. So the phone is available in full colors, but it is running a Qualcomm snapdragon 6 to 5 processors, along with a four thousand William hour battery, which should be good enough for at least one or one and a half days of use again we'll test that out.

If you guys need it. So our storage is concerned. This is a four gigabyte RAM variant with an option of 16 or 32 gigabytes of storage, and you also have a 64 gigabyte storage variant available. So you can choose whichever one you want you do. The device does accept dual SIM cards in the sim tray.

Let me quickly pop open the camera and see what kind of depth mode effects we can get. You do have a beauty mode as well I'm going to turn on the dual lens effect and see what kind of image capability we get. So it captures the image quickly, but it takes a while to process it, but it gives a nice depth as far as I can see in my quick test cut the corners quite accurately, and it's managed to get a really nice bouquet or a background blur going on, and it does measure out the depth distance. So at the bottom there is no blur, but on the top there is a nice blur. So that kind of looks nice again we'll test it out fully.

I want to see what kind of video recording capabilities this device has. So I'm going to jump back into the camera, go into video pop open settings, I'm assuming it can do a maximum of 1080p and 4k on the 12 megapixel sensor, so you can choose the rear. Camera can do 4k and the front camera can do 1080p, which is nice. You also have something called a tilt indicator which will let you know if your device is tilted which will sit right here next to the recording button. So it lets.

You know your phone is tilted while your capturing video, so you can get a steady, stable and straight video for those interested. There is also a smart beauty mode which you can choose levels of how much beauty it's adding to your images again. I, don't know if a lot of people use that feature, but it is available on the device. You can also jump into a makeup mode, a pro mode which will give you customization of exposure, ISO, focusing capabilities of macro and or to focus. You also have exposure control, saturation control contrast control as well as a white balance, can show so a complete manual mode.

If we've seen any on this device- and so our is bloatware or anything else is concerned, there is literally nothing on this device. You do have some system applications over here like a pedometer, the update application, our tool box, which will give you think like a flashlight, a scale, a bunch of other things, but nothing else going on. As far as that is concerned, you also have a decibel meter over here. So I don't know how accurate this is, but it is reading my decibel as I speak to you guys. So if I increase my volume, ah it gets it, so I, don't know how good or accurate this is, but it sort of seems to work.

You also have a magnifier, a ruler which lets you measure out things and that's more or less 8. You also have a level and a mirror. So all those things are included on the device. The display on the phone looks nice and bright. You can also manually increase or decrease the brightness like any other Android device, but viewing angles on the screen.

Look pretty alright, not the best I have seen much better, especially in this price bracket. You get much better visibility, but it does seem to talking up a little so not a lot of 180 degree. Viewing angle going on also the display seems to sit a little under the glass, so it's not completely fused with the glass, so it seems like it's a little far from where you are touching it. So not the best feeling in terms of use. The display, like the UI I mentioned earlier, seems fast and responsive again will download some Google applications later on and test that out for you guys.

So if you have any questions or queries about this particular device, do let us know, and we'll try and cover it up for you in the review. If you like this video, don't forget to smash that like button hit, that subscribe button and I will see you guys in the next one.
