Meizu M6 Note Review: Unbelievable Photos from a $170 Phone!

Hey there, if I told you can own a smartphone like this five and a half inch screen, four thousand William battery Snapdragon processor and dual cameras on back. So you can take cool depth of field photos like the one you're looking at right now. Would you be interested? What if I told you could own this thing for under 170 dollars? Let's take a look welcome to dad does, and today we are looking at the Mizzou m6 note. This is a really impressive smartphone. It's got the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, four thousand William battery dual cameras on back and all of this for under one hundred and seventy dollars, and that's about what it starts we'll get back to all those specs more about the pricing. All of that want to now just show off the phone, so you get a feel for how it looks.

One thing we're really impressed with its just overall look and feel of it. You know, I tell you a smartphone that cost under $200 you're, probably thinking it looks pretty cheaply made. This is not so showing those dual cameras. They're also above that, with a four LED flash dual temperature control they're, showing on the bottom here, the standard stuff you would expect you've got the micro USB to charge. It has fast charging 18 watts.

So that's really cool has a headphone jack has a speaker and microphone on the bottom as well again, just showing you the style of it here and think again, really impressive for something which is selling for under $200 going over to the side. Here, we've got a volume rocker up down and a power switch some pretty standard stuff over here. We're going to bring you over to the top of the phone. Show you that as well one thing I have on the top here: a small microphone which is cool, so you've got a mic up. On top there, I'm going to jump over to the side here pop that out.

That's we can put in your SIM chip, and also you can do a micro SD to expand the memory, so that's cool and showing the screen here. Five and a half inch screen we're gonna, get back to that and tell you more about that, but just showing you over a look of it like I, said really nice look to it, showing oh camera on front here.16 megapixels has really cool beauty, filter stuff. Unless one stuff, you can do obviously has Wi-Fi all that stuff 12 all the specs, a link below for all those specs and everything about that. A one button at the bottom that M Touch allows you to do. Your fingerprint unlock also a lot of other controls we'll get to that just real quickly, showing it next to a Samsung s7 edge here, and you know it holds up pretty well.

Obviously, the s7 edge has always on display. It's got the edge on it, but when you look at it overall and if you just pull them out, look very similar, and again you're talking about something which sells for like $700 versus something sells for 200, so very similar in terms of thickness and look to it. Obviously, the s7 has the edge, but just really think it holds up well in terms of how it looks. But, more importantly, we want to look at the function and talk about some navigation, how it all works. So let's go over and look at some of that all right.

Not surprisingly, it does all the things you think an Android phone could do running Android 7.1.2 new bit here, of course, you can browse the web check your social media. Do your email all that stuff, a big beautiful display, and we'll talk more about this, but it has a 403 PPI thousand to 1 contrast ratio to showing some of that here. But the real thing we think when it comes to smartphone is really about the camera, because all this stuff, anyone can kind of check your email and do that. So it really gets the camera. We're gonna talk more about that, but first we just want to focus.

I'm going to show you some more pictures here. So I'm talking, you're us to want to show you the selfie mode, which is really nice, like I, said 60 megapixel camera in front. It's all its beautification optimizations things like that, always cool filters. You can do things like that, so we're going to touch a little of navigation and then really move on to the photography. Alright, just want to explain the navigation a little with this fly me skin on it.

We really like the way it works. So you said one button at the bottom, but there's a difference between talented or clicking it. So if I just tap it that acts like my back keys if I tap it now I'm back at the home page here and then, if I click it you'll actually go back, just like you'd expect out to here, we can see all your apps now. The cool thing is, if I just swipe up from the bottom. This opens up all of my open apps there, and they can just click on anything to go into it.

So pretty neat the way that works just one button down there. That's in the fly my skin, but just allows that if you swipe up, you can see everything, that's open. If you tap this you'll just go back and if you hold it down, you go all the way out to the home. So, just like that navigation, you get used to prettying quickly, and it's pretty efficient as well all right, let's get to the camera in the m6 notice. This is where we think things get really impressive.

So here are some pictures. We took no editing it all done on this. I should say we will have a link to our website where you can check out all these pictures so check that out in the description below. But here's where things get fun right, we're just showing pictures here. Different lighting reflections looks great showing at a park.

We went to just really clear camera, but here's where things get interesting with that dual camera check it out how you can do that portrait mode right so in the foreground, the sign really Unfocus. The background comes blurt again, no editing on our part in terms of post-production. All of this is done on the fly in the camera. I'm going to show you some more examples that here's a sign right. The sign becomes really clear and pops out because in the dual camera again, this is like portrait mode on the iPhone.

Here's the picture of me I, don't look great, but it makes it look better because it blurs out the background shown another one here. This is a really nice shot we're in Baltimore here and if you want this look, it looks great, but you want to blur off the background. You can do it this way. The Canon really jumps out in that. So again, this phone is under 200 bucks being able to do this with the dual camera, showing it again here with this musical instrument, Europe blurring the background.

Here's a really cool thing: fire-breathing dragon blur out the background: here's Kermit the Frog, that's what you want to see and check out their blurred background, so again we're very impressed with the dual camera. Another example this without the dual camera yeah looks: okay. Now we turn our to do a camera. Portrait mode looks really nice and that piece in front comes out and showing it here, some close-ups of flowers blurring out the background, this one I love, because the low lighting want to show you that look at this low lighting blurred background the light really pops again really impressed with the camera in this I'm going to show you a couple others here. This is without the dual camera.

It looks. Okay, now we turn on dual camera portrait mode, and this one blurs the background. He jumps out more this one, even more so really impressed by that going to do now to show you some video, the video looks good. You know, I mean the video is a more standard. It's not a lot of kinds of difference in terms to blurring the background of stuff like that, but just showing some video shot in pretty low light.

It looks cool I'm, going to show you a cool one here, a fire-breathing dragon. This is, we think, that's neat. This is pretty zoomed in. We weren't that close to want to show you some of that video looks really nice and then finally, I'm just going to show you that same video, by my show it to you actually on the phone now, so you'll be looking at both the video we shot with it, but also showing the display, like I, said, a 403 PPI thousand one contrast: ratio 1920 by 1080 resolution, so really looks nice and again, five and a half inches, so um keep in mind as you're. Looking at all of this, this is something that sells for under $200 again visit our website.

Well, the link below we're going to have all the photos, so you can play around with it and see more detail and all the specs also. So you can check all of that out as well remember to hit up the link in the description to see all those photos we just showed. Let's hit the highlights, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 process are really impressive in a phone for under $200. The duo really are cameras. We just went over.

Why? That's so impressive to photos? You saw four thousand William battery and quick charge.18 watt, that's cool five and a half inch screen looks beautiful. We've shown it to you, the Sony IMF 362, that's the CMOS for the camera, really impressive, the adrenal 506 GPUs. It's got a GPU in there and again all this for under one hundred and seventy dollars. So you see what we're pretty excited about this, the Snapdragon being there really impressive we're going to show you in the background here some benchmark scores. Now we're not big on benchmarking.

We don't quite understand what they all mean, and they don't always. So you can look at them, and you can, you know kind of. Do your own research I'm, just gonna talk over it, the single core, not that impressive, the dual-core pretty impressive, and this is where we say you're getting about like when you might pay $500 to Samsung Apple for their level phone, like them s6 edge or something, and you're getting it here for under 170. But what these don't really take into is the GPU and a lot of the other functionality, so we're not as big into these benchmarks we're bigger into this. Can you play games in it, so here we are played no stuttering and worked great? So in terms of what would you do with the phone check your email go online.

Do social media browse absolutely easy? You might also want to play games absolutely. You can do that with this phone and, of course, you'll want to take photos and videos. Furthermore, you can do this with this phone. A looks fantastic. We've shown you that so really impressed by that.

While you watching me play a little gaming here, I'll go over some negatives one of the things, because it's a little of an off-brand. It's like you're, not going to find a lot of cases for it, so that can be hard. Some apps are not going to be optimized to you'll use the dual camera impact. So there are some things like that when you go away from kind of Samsung and Apple you're kind of more out on your own, a little in terms of finding cases or apps that will take advantage of all the power inside the phone, but those are really don't need. Negatives, like I said: I mean the graphics are really impressive.

The camera is probably the most impressive thing to us and in terms of the rest of it absolutely ignore the Play, Store and download any stuff runs Android. We like to fly me skin. A lot thinks. That's really, you know intuitive, like the one button navigation be able to flick to the bottom. We think that's cool, but honestly what we love the most.

The battery four thousand William lasts all day and more the quick charge, but then, of course, the camera. The dual camera, especially in back the 16 megapixel in front beauty, filters just a really cool phone. So here's a deal head on over to our website. We're going to have more information there, the photo, so you can check it out and link. So you can learn more about pricing and all of that head on over to dad does, and thanks for watching, hey guys, if you like what we're doing.

Please hit that big orange D in the middle to subscribe and then check out some other videos. We think that you really love, thanks. So much for watching.
