Is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Practical in 2021?

Hey everybody welcome back to PTR practical tech reviews, I'm your host Brandon! Thank you so much for stopping by in this video. I want to talk to you guys about a device that came out a couple of years ago, and that is the note 10. Now don't get it confused. There's a note 10 and the note 10 plus, but we're going to talk about the little brother in a few reasons why it's practical in 2021 for me option reason number one is the design. Personally speaking, I didn't like the way that the note 20 looked. It was okay, it's a little chunky.

It's got that plastic back. This doesn't have that it's very suit. It's super thin, very lightweight. It's got a glass back so again from a premium perspective. I would pick the note 10 over the note 20 the smaller model just bear that in mind: um the angular setup.

I mean the squared off design to me that looks premium to me. It looks modern, and I like the way it looks I like the way it feels I like how, even though it has a slight curve to the display. I like how it's not overly curved- it's not too dramatic. It's to me. It's just the right balance and for me this is just flat out perfect.

For me, number two was a display. Display is obviously very important because it's what we see it's the tools, the lens in which we view the world, the social world, um the fact that it's got a 6.3 inch AMOLED display, although it's in 1080p, it's still fantastic. Colors are great. I mean if you're doing things like on Facebook, Twitter Instagram, you know maybe watch the movie, it's fantastic. It does a really, really good job and I can't really or ever heard of anybody who really complains about Samsung displays.

Even though this is another device, it still can stack up against its other predator, the ones ahead of it in 2021, the other thing very important camera. It's a note. It's a Samsung device not to say that Samsung devices are perfect in the camera realm, but still in 2021, you're going to get very, very solid, point-and-shoot pictures um in 2021. Nope, it's not a pixel, so we're not even going to compare it to that. But for what this has to offer the fact that this phone has gone through many software updates since its beginning, it has definitely improved since the first time it came out um, so you will not be disappointed with how the camera quality comes out and or the video quality for that matter.

The other thing in this particular model. This is the 256gb model. Now the downside is there. Unfortunately, there was no um expandable storage with the base. Note 10.

Um. So if you wanted more storage, you kind of had to buy whatever was available. I think the max was 256. So just bear that in mind. So if you're, if you think you're gonna use more than that, probably invest in a know, external SD drive or something like that um I have one I'll post a link in the description for the one that I use for this device or some sort of cloud services of you know whatever ones you prefer um, but other than that.

That's really the only thing that I don't like about the phone um, the speakers. They sound great um, they're. Dual speakers mind you! So that's always a plus again when you're enjoying content and whatnot. You know those are it's a very key thing that you're going to need and then obviously the last thing, the most important thing. The thing that makes a note is the fact that it has the s pen.

Yes, the smaller version still has the s pen, so you're going to get the same functionalities, the gestures and all that good stuff that come with having a note in a smaller form factor again, maybe you're a young lady, and you don't necessarily want a screamingly large device. You want something large, but not too large or whoever for that matter. This to me in 2021, is going to be, is a really solid purchase um. The last thing that I will say that is a 50 50. For me, some days are good.

Some days are bad just depends on your personal usage, but for me um getting a full day. Out of it now mind you, I did buy this phone used I'll post links in the description where I got it from um the battery capacity. For me, with the way that I use this phone, I don't get a full day. I get close to a full day. Just being honest, is that a bad thing? No, it's just something to be expected from the device.

That's two years old. So bear that in mind when you purchase one um, so just kind of bear that in mind. But again you know, you've got wireless charging. You've got fast charging capabilities, all that good stuff. So I don't think you're going to have a problem, especially with a lot of us working from home.

Your phone sit right on your desk anyway, so you have to a charger right there. So it's not necessarily a big deal um to me overall, the fact that the phone is affordable. I've seen these on Amazon um. I got mine for around 400 before taxes, of course, and via the Amazon renewed program. Furthermore, I think it was again I'll post links in the description where you can get yours um in 2021 is the note 10 worth it.

Yes, absolutely worth it again: decent battery great display, modern design, um great camera system front, and back and again it's a note, so you know to me: it hits out of five. It's that's a four and a half out of five uh for me as to is this practical in 2021. I hope this helps you maybe you're looking at getting the note 10 in 2021. Hopefully again, this helps you again there'll be links in the description where you can purchase yours. Otherwise, thanks for watching I'm b Ross of practical tech reviews again, thank you for stopping by I'll talk to you guys in the next video peace.
