LG G8X 3 Days Later

What is up guys TK here with everything, 100 calm, and we're taking a look at the LG G 8x after using it as my primary device for a little over three days. Let's get into it first things. First, let's talk about the elephant in the room, and that has to be the folding display right. One of the things I like about this /. What it may have been based on, which is the ZTE axon M, is the fact that it not only folds this way, which gives you a nice little notification window and things of that nature up here at the top, which you're not gonna, be able to see that great in this sunlight out here, or you can fold it all. The way open like so completely turns off the display that way, but allows you to hold it this way.

So you can get work done. I actually really like this idea and I think it's a perfect design. You have full access to the buttons here. You have your Google Assistant button, your power button everything's accessible, but it does make this thing extremely thick. But if you're, a person like me say with me thick, if you're a person like me that likes heavy phones or with a nice weight of a heavy phone in your pocket, then you're going to love this phone and the ability to multitask and do multiple things to just get things done with this device.

One of the super cool things is, you could do that you could have YouTube open on this one. You can open up the game center over here, for example, and launch a game and still be you know, reading the news or watching a video or having a video or something playing over here and watching a know, reading something over here on the right or doing your Twitter feed, while you're doing a livestream on the other. The options are literally limitless. One of the cool things is to do Stretch view. So if you have a browser open, yes, there's a big giant bezel here between the screen, but the ability to open it up and still be able to tip.

You know you can see where the bee starts and where it finishes it. On the other side, it's actually kind of cool. If you have a page open like say crack list or even swap ax or something else where you get a better view to have the stretch view, it's actually really cool to be able to stretch it completely out. One of the other cool options is you don't have to keep this in its case, you can pop this thing out, just pull it out. It turns this entire accessory off.

You can put this away right, that's the secondary display, and then you can literally just rock out the g8x all by itself, which has a very nice AMOLED display, which, in my opinion, is probably one of the best that LG has made to this date. If you're asking me and the cameras are lets LG they're great, you also can just keep this open or use it as like a privacy shade and not have it on to turn it on. It's real simple you'll see this little gesture of this little button over here, which tells you to turn on the dual display and with one little click of the button. Book shall power up or did I, not click. It looks at that tech fail live on video boom there it is, and then you can go right back to rocking on out now.

Look. Is this thing for everybody, of course not, but for those of you that are tech, heads that like to have something different? Maybe it's a conversational piece for you. This is an absolute must-buy. Okay, the axe on em was a great phone for its time, but we're not getting any updates with that. That thing is stuck on nugget.

It's going to stay on 7.1 forever. More than likely we're not going to see another update on that phone, and this one can get the latest and greatest version of Android. That is what's great about it and I think it's an upgraded version with some really cool features, and if you were a fan of the axe on em, you're, gonna love, the LG GO, oh and did I say something which I think is probably the most important part of this follow-up video here. Three days later, it frees right now at 80, if you just either add a line or upgrade your device. It's free.

That means over I think it's that you have to collect select 30 months, but after a year, if you decide you want to get out your still only paying like 280 dollars for this phone, and you get to keep it and upgrade it's a hell of a deal or, if you're, one that likes to buy your phone completely unlocked with no AT&T bloatware on it. You can pick this thing up on Amazon link down below in the description for $6.99 completely unlocked, or you can go all the way out, balls-out and go to Best Buy and pick this thing up for five hundred and ninety-nine bucks right now at Best Buy. When you activate a line on AT&T or Verizon, you don't have to keep that line active and there's no contract. So there you have it I've been using this thing. It's been great.

It's been a dashboard navigation system by putting like Google Maps on here and then just sitting this on my dashboard like, so it's been running, podcasts and videos, while I'm taking in care of banging out emails, it becomes a game pad. I'm going to do a whole separate video for you guys on the gaming ability of this phone which, by the way it's great for games, I mean great for playing games, I love it so yeah. It's also handled pretty good in the cold. It's warmed up a little today here outside of Fort Meade, but it's uh. Furthermore, it was cold last night, and it's going to get cold tonight, and I can tell you that the AMOLED display on this thing on both screens has handled the weather up here in the greater DC area.

Really well so anyways there you have it. Let me know what you guys think in the comments section down below. There are my three days later, opinions on the LG, G, 8x and so far three days in I definitely say: go buy this.
