Is this $199 Fortnite Phone Any Good?

Okay guys blue has finally done what we've all been waiting for. They just made a gaming phone specifically for Fortnite. So what does that mean exactly? I have no idea, but in this video we're going to find out not to mention the box and phone is purple so yeah. This has to be good and probably the best part about this phone. I only paid 1.99, but I'll leave a link in the description below with current pricing and more information. So let's go ahead and get started.

Obviously right on the box, this is called the g90 pro. It only comes in one color that I'm aware of which is called purple haze. Some quick specs here on the back. This has a 6.5 inch, full HD plus infinity display MediaTek hello g90t gaming, chipset outscore, 2.0, gigahertz, processor, 128, gigabyte, internal storage, four gigabytes of ram four cameras on the back with the main one being a 48 megapixel. You've also got an 8 megapixel wide angle at 120 degrees.

It's also got something called super pixel with a 108 megapixel super zoom that definitely sounds impressive.32 megapixels selfie camera 5100 William hour battery with wireless charging. You have to say this thing sounds pretty good so far. You can also add a micro SD card up to 128 gigabytes. It also comes with android 10. , so yeah.

This definitely sounds pretty good for only 200 bucks. So let's go ahead and open it up and see what we've got. Okay, that definitely has some weight to. It looks like they throw in some headphones semi ejection tool. Oh my okay, talk about super shiny, USB charging, cable! You definitely won't lose this thing and your USB charging brick.

They even throw in a matching sticker for some extra bling installation and quick start guide. They also included their own official case, and they even threw in a tempered glass screen protector. So you pretty much have everything you're going to need. Okay, this thing looks really sharp. If you like, Fortnite purple yeah, this phone's definitely going to be for you power and volume buttons are there on the right hand, side over on the left hand, side is where your sim card and micro SD card goes.

Teardrop front-facing camera sort of unique configuration for the cameras on the back with fingerprint scanner right at the bottom, just a little, thicker bezel there at the bottom, then at the bottom you've got the headphone, jack, USB charging port and speaker. So I ran a geek bench score on this, and it's very comparable to the new Pixel 4a that was just released in both single core and multi-core scores. We might as well start out by seeing if we can actually download Fortnite on here, looks like you have to install the epics game app before it installs Fortnite everything seems fine. So far, it's just finishing up the installation here, which is definitely a good sign. Okay, so the good thing is, it looks like you can play Fortnite on here without any problems, sure it's not the most powerful phone you're going to be playing on, but it seemed to be fine in my testing, even when connected to an Xbox controller, downside is yeah, I'm horrible at this game now.

I remember why I usually play PUBG mobile nice thing is on PUBG mobile. You've got HD graphics with high frame rates. I play games such as PUBG mobile and asphalt 9, and they all played fairly smooth as well. Here's some more game footage just to give you an idea of what it looks like. Definitely, a real nice and bright wallpaper.

First thing I want to see is how much storage you've got on here for the lock screen on here. You've got none swipe pattern, pin and password. You've also got fingerprint scanner and face ID, so it looks like you're only using seven percent of the storage. So that's definitely. A good thing to see.

Looks like software on here is pretty much stock, android swipe down anywhere to get to your notification shade, and you got most of your typical shortcuts there, such as location, do not disturb airplane mode. Super screenshot, flashlight, sound Bluetooth, Wi-Fi you've, also got a battery saver calculator, alarm, camera and screen recorder swipe up to access all of your apps when they say Fortnite compatible, they mean you've got to go download Fortnite. I would think they would have included it already. But maybe that's just me. Nice thing is there's not a lot of bloatware on here.

Let's go ahead and try out the camera real, quick within the camera. App you've got video photo and then in beauty. It's got pretty much all the stuff that you would want, such as smoother slimming whitening and iron, larger. Obviously, who doesn't want larger eyes then, once you go into more you've got night mode pro mode, 108, megapixel, HDR, GIF, filter panorama, slow motion, time-lapse, intelligent scanning and macro, so, so yeah there's a lot of options in here when it comes to video quality, this will shoot in 4k, 1080p, 720p and 480p. Pretty quick, shutter speed, okay, okay, so these photos actually look pretty good.

You can see a lot of detail, so here's a few more samples just to give you an idea of what to expect from the g90 pro. So as you can see from some of these photos, the camera on here is actually pretty decent. It does struggle sometimes with focus and the macro lens is not really that good at all. Definitely not too bad for only 200 bucks same thing with video you're. Definitely going to get decent quality from both the rear and front facing cameras, but it struggles a little with focus and definitely not the best camera out there, but still pretty decent for the money.

Do. Oh, so hopefully this video gave you a little better look at the g90 pro by blue. It's definitely not the best as far as performance or the camera, but I think what you're getting for only two hundred dollars is perfect. In my opinion, I haven't had a chance to check the battery life on this phone yet, but from what I can tell yeah, this is going to last a really long time, plus it's really nice that it has wireless charging. So if you've made it this far into the video, you may want to say thanks by subscribing and don't forget, to give a thumbs up.

If this video was helpful, this is Brian from fish bee productions. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you on the next one, you.
