OnePlus 8T vs ROG Phone 3 Speedtest Comparison By Techniqued

Hello friends welcome to technique. This is normal here and in this video we're going to do a speed test comparison of two uh powerful devices. We have the OnePlus 8t with the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 OCTA core processors and android 11 and oxygen OS 11, and we also have the ROG phone 3, which is again powered by the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 plus chipsets, and we have android 10 on this device and the ASUS UI. So these are two a powerful device. We have 120 hertz differentiate on the OnePlus 8t, while we have 144 hertz refresh rate on the ASUS ROG phone 3. So that's the uh comparison.

We're going to do we'll, be opening these 16 apps and see which is faster. So if you look at the settings, so you can see that both the devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and both are in airplane mode, and we have connected to the same Wi-Fi network as well, so we're cleared of all the apps in the background. So there you go, you can see that everything is cleared off now, we're going to start the speed test, so we'll be opening the 16 apps. So first uh app would be asphalt 9. So, let's see which is able to load asphalt, 9 faster, so both of them have the gaming mode enabled so their respective gaming modes are enabled.

The main difference here is the android version, android 11 versus android 10. So, let's see which is able to load this faster. So you can see that the OnePlus 8t was faster than the ROG phone. Three, so next would be temple run. So here exact same time.

Both the devices took now place. Two here again, OnePlus 8t was faster. Now, Chrome browser chrome was faster on the ROG phone now three, so it was way faster. Now, Facebook almost same time, Twitter again almost same time, I would say: Instagram ROG phone 3 was faster Ghana, again ROG phone 3 was much faster Amazon here, probably OnePlus 8t was slightly faster Flipkart again ROG phone 3 was first file manager. Almost same time.

Settings OnePlus was slightly faster, YouTube again, almost same time, YouTube slightly faster on the ROG phone three camerae again, not much of a difference and finally maps. So again, almost same types you could see here. Both of them did a perfect performance neck to neck performance in terms of app opening, and both of them were perfect, and some apps were faster on the OnePlus 8t. While a few were faster on the ROG phone three now next steps, we would be doing the memory management test, so we'll be opening the apps in the reverse order. So first is maps both are written, camera is written, Gmail is written, YouTube, written settings, file, manager, Flipkart, Amazon, Ghana, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, chrome play store now into the games, both have retained, temple run and finally, we have asphalt 9.

So you can see here both have retained these games, so you could see that the memory management is equally good on both the devices. So we can't have a clear winner here. Obviously uh. The OnePlus 8t has an advantage with the android version, while the ROG phone 3 has an advantage with the processor Qualcomm snapdragon 865, plus not much of a difference, though. So that's the difference of these two devices in terms of hardware and software, so that is the sweetest comparison.
