Is the NEW LIVE FOCUS any good on the Galaxy Note 10?? Or waste of time?? (plus camera samples)

Alright man, Terry Oxford I, told you all I told you I was coming back dinner and this time I'm back with the note 10, the plus boy, and I'm, not even supposed to be showing you this. This is the retail box. Nobody on the streets got this. Nobody has seen the note, 10 plus retail box, some type of way, your boy to slip through the cracks again and came through, but I'm not going to do like a full review yet because I haven't had it for enough time, but I do want to tell you all about the cameras. So without further ado, let's get into it. Man I'm excited I'm, pumped I'll, pour top bunk, hey, see you at the top.

It's been a while for you big you up, and they look down on you take one left. I was around for you, I will sir I must I, won't sign I'm, so handsome my Denzel I'm, so fancy all right. So first thing I want to do is show you some samples of how the live focus mode works. So I'm going to show you some samples, I'm going to show you some photos, I'm going to show you. Some live focus video, and you can be the judge on what you think about it and if it's crap or if it's awesome, I'll tell you my initial impressions, and I'm really impressed so far.

You see butter ice melt, butter plus you guys eight creators. This is the phone hands-down. What it looks like, Terry, looking good man, good I, like what a look like why to smell like butter, ? butter, fasciitis, get some host in the sea house. So do some cinematic walking your whatever way you want -! Oh wait, wait! Wait! It only works on faces, that's right. So this is a pro shot which is talking it's not for the cinematic walking.

Okay, still groovy go baby, all right, yeah, just you know, move around now. Let me get a close-up. Let me get a close-up, see how it works all right, so you saw what the rear camera looked like now: I'm using the front camera at live focus for video mode, and there is no selection when you're using live focus month. So you can't pick between which camera you want to use the defaults, and it's only 1080p. So that's not you need to know and live focus, video mode.

It's only 1080p, and you cannot select the camera now. You have to be mine for the distance software. So if you're in the dark it ain't going to work that will it's gonna work the best we are outside broad daylight. The lighting is good. There's plenty of light data for the camera to do a stay with.

So you can be the judge on how you think that the live focus. Video works all right so now that you've seen what live, focus mode works like a video. You could be the judge and if you like, the effect or not. What I want to do now is give you some samples of live, focus and photo mode of me. I'm going to take some selfies and also some objects just so you can see what that looks like now.

Let me tell you this a few things: real, quick. It does work in all available cameras, front camera, rear camera, both the wide and the telephoto. However, live focus does not work in super wide mode. Now one thing I do want to tell you real, quick just like on the STM. When you take pictures of people it does this skin, smooth and stuff that I just don't like it, man I can't stand.

It there's no way to turn it off. Just like on the galaxy s 10 like for women. I can see it not being a big deal, but for me, I'm, a dual man: I, don't want my skin being all smooth again live focus mode works in all camera modes, with exception to the ultra wide-angle, just like on the galaxy s 10. Here are some samples, I forgot to mention real quick I, do think. Live focus works better on the note 10 than the Galaxy S 10 I.

Don't have a lot of time with the device today. So I can't do like a full-fledged comparison, but that video is coming about preliminary thoughts. I think the edge detection and the algorithm for live focus does work better on a Galaxy Note in then it does the galaxy s.10 I'm, not gonna, cover all the stuff that they already have in the galaxy s.10 Pro Mode is there for photo. You know you get the sumo you get nitrite, which I won't have time to test that out, because I only have a limited amount of time. With the note 10, of course you know, I took some wide-angle shots and stuff because I love the wide-angle camera.

However, there's a few more things, I'm going to show you, let's get to it, okay man, so we got gestures with the new s-pen I got it right here and when they announced it. The first thing: I thought is I, maybe that's gimmicky, but after I thought about it, I think it actually does have practical use. So I got my man stick here. Right here say: what's up see kid: what up you all, and we're going to demonstrate for you all how this can actually be of practical use out in the field all right, so here's a practical scenario. I would have group of my friends right.

We set the phone up, and we want to take the picture and I recognize that man, the camera, is in the wrong mode, it's in video mode, and we need it to be in photo mode. That's a problem, so that means either I have to walk over to the camera to change it, which then my friends are gonna, be mad at me for leaving the pose and all that stuff, or I could use my s-pen. So first thing I can actually launch the camera with the s-pen and then once it's inside use the S Pen to swipe through modes from a distance. So all I got to do is the click flick to the left or a quick flick to the right. So let me show you another example of how this is useful.

All right, so we get over here and I with my friends and I, noticed that the well now I can literally flip up and boom, where it's selfie mode come on Devin, let's take a selfie together. Let's do all right. We got our pose down. We ready to take the picture. Well, click pictures taken, so it does have actual practical use in a real world scenario, and I could see myself using it now, especially like if you're a one-man show I like I, say you wish your friends anything like that.

If you forget to do something, I would just take the S Pen, and that way you can control everything in your camera from a distance, that's killer! That's clutch man, all right man! So last thing I want to go over real, quick, it's just the AR doodle stuff. Now when they announced it, I was like you know what that's cheesy I would never use it, but now that I think about it, I got kids, and I'm sure that they would love to use it plus it's a fun time killer. So I'm just going to give you a quick overview of what you can do it, and now it does work with the front camera and also the rear camera. You have to go to video mode to enable it, and you have to hit the AR doodle button in the upper right hand corner now, like I said it does work with the front and the rear camera the rear camera you could do facing everywhere, but to do everywhere, you do have to be connected to a network and right now, I'm not connected to anything, because my sim card is not in it. I got to take the phone back in a second, however, the face mode does work in front and rear modes, and I'm going to show you how it works: real, quick, alright man, so there you have it a quick test of what the features are like that are different from the Galaxy S ten on the Galaxy Note tensor you got to take the phone bags.

There will be more content coming I hope, you all enjoyed this video. That's all I got for your piece of chicken grease, Terry Garfield, hey see you at the top, it's been a while for you big you up, and they look down on you. Take one left on was an arrow for you me personally.
