iPhone XS vs Google Pixel 3!

So, what is up guys Nick here, helping you to master your technology? Welcome to the iPhone 10s vs. the Google Pixel 3. Now I wanted to compare these for quite some time as I think both of them are very comparable. They are both the smaller phones from both Google and Apple. You can see right here, and I've had extensive experience with both. Let's begin by talking about design now, I have to give the win to the iPhone 10s right off the bat when it comes to design, because the stainless steel material, as well as just the overall glass feel and look just, has felt more premium than that of the Google Pixel 3 over here on the right.

So, yes, in terms of this area, I have to give it to Apple here now the Google Pixel 3 definitely does not feel cheap by no means, but it's not quite as good feeling in the hand in terms of that premium design as the iPhone. Now, what it does feel better than the iPhone in is the comfort, so how comfortable it feels in the hand, is a lot better than this phone. It feels lighter and just less wide than the iPhone 10s, so the UP pixel 3 to me is ergonomically more sound. It's a little more comfortable to use, but if you want that premium design and feel like you got your money's worth, I think the 10s definitely feels better than that of the Google Pixel 3. So when it comes to the build quality, the iPhone 10s has shattered written all over it.

We have a glass display on the front glass on the rear and a pretty thick camera hub if you drop it there it's over with. So. In my experience using this over the past few months, I always felt the need to have the case on it, which I always pretty much did as well as a screen protector. Now, I will say that it doesn't scratch too easily on the stainless steel sides or on the front screen itself. I mean with just little everyday usage like putting it on the table, put it in your pocket, maybe in a backpack but there's certain fire materials that will scratch it.

So it never felt like something that I wanted to rock without a case or without any protection on it. Build quality, though overall it feels like a durable machine it'll last awhile. It just needs a little of protection. Now the build quality on the pixel 3 just feels a little cheaper to me than the iPhone 10s. It doesn't have that plastic kind of feel of the pixel ? on the rear, which makes me feel like this one is more prone to a crack.

If you do drop it, however, the polycarbonate kind of feel around the edges felt a little less dangerous to me. Then you know scratching up those beautiful stainless steel sides of the iPhone 10s, so I have to say that in terms of rocking, without a case, I probably would rock the pixel three without a case before I would the iPhone 10s, but still this phone doesn't feel like that kind of phone. It's so you know high and build quality that you don't even need a case on it, so both of these feel kind of fragile and at the end of the day, they're both strong builds, but they do need cases and protection. Over my past several months, using both of these devices, I have to, say the display department easily goes to the 10s. It's a much brighter panel that I find on the pixel three.

It's not so much that it's that much sharper. Furthermore, it is a little sharper, but I. Don't really notice that too much more so that I noticed that it's brighter, and it's a little more color, accurate, so I do think that the display being bigger as well. Furthermore, it contributes to an overall, better display experience now the pixel three. While it is comfortable, it has much thicker bezels at the top and the bottom and display doesn't get quite as bright in pretty much all situations.

So I have to say that the pixel threes display, while pretty good, is inferior to that of the iPhone 10s, which is kind of expected. As the price of the pixel three is significantly less than that of the iPhone 10s okay. So when it comes to my software experience iOS, let's just be real everybody's- been waiting for iOS 13, and we're looking for changes to this operating system. It's getting rather boring now, yes, it is very stable. I really do applaud Apple for making a way better in terms of stability, then I was 11, but now that we got stability down now, I think everybody is craving features and I have to say it's run pretty flawlessly here on the 10s.

So that's a good thing in makes it kind of boring at the same time that we don't have a bunch of features. Split-Screen multitasking, it's just your grid of icons. You know our iOS works by now. There's not really much to discuss. I got to say, though the experience itself was kind of boring using the software on the 10s, but at the same time very stable, so I never had a reason to be mad at the phone.

So it's a thumbs up overall I just got to say that the pixel 3 was more fun to use because II enjoyed 9pi brings split-screen multitasking, as does a lot of other Android devices, but you can do this on the smaller screen than the 10s, and this is one of the key factors as to why I really liked using the pixel three over the 10s when it comes to software also I've been finding the pixel 3 experience more minimal and simpler. Actually, you can hide all the icons off of here. You can get launchers to hide more icons and swiping up and just finding your applications in alphabetical order is very intuitive, so I find that the pixel 3 software to actually be a little more minimal than the iPhone 10s. Now, if you start tweaking it and doing all that stuff, then it definitely becomes more cluttered, but the pixel 3 is where it's at. If you want a minimal Android experience.

So when it comes to performance, the Apple iPhone 10s is rocking the a12 Bionic chips. I mean this thing just flies or whatever you're doing I don't care. What you are opening this thing will never let you down in performance you'll be happy. Every time you open up this phone, it's a blazing fast device. Now when it comes to the pixel 3, it's also a very good performer.

It does have a snapdragon 845 as well as 3 gigabytes of RAM, and in my experience just like pretty much all the other phones that are out today. This one is very fast now at first I did find that the pixel 3 did struggle a little in multitasking, but Google has fixed this in, like December update, I think it was, and with the February update, this thing is just butter. It just works superfast, no matter what you do, and it's super smooth. It has very nice animation, some of the best you're gonna, find on Android devices. Furthermore, it is Google's own Android device, so you would expect that.

However, I have to say that the tennis feels a little faster. The pixel 3 is super smooth and really this is not a deciding factor. I feel like it's other factors like the ecosystem that matters more than performance on these -. When it comes to battery life, the 10s actually has been a little disappointing, considering that the 10r was better so was the 10s Max and the 8 plus was better as well as this phone. So it's not a bad battery.

Life it'll get you through the day as long as you're, not a super heavy user. Most folks are not gonna. Have any issue with the 10s I didn't have an issue getting through the day. I just found that it had way less percentage and the 10r at the end of the day or even the 10s max like it had like, maybe 20% less than the 10s max, maybe about 30 to 40. Less many 10 are at the end of the day, so I have to, say I did have low power mode on a lot when I did use the 10s.

So keep that in mind it's not the best iPhone battery life, but it is still good enough to get you through a day. Now. The Google Pixel 3 is also a phone that didn't have perfect battery life, but it was actually worse than the 10s. So I would pick the 10s here. If you were looking for a better battery life, it's actually the type of phone.

You might need a charger midday on the Google Pixel 3. It was pretty disappointing to be quite honest now, even with the adapter battery modes and all that I was having a hard time getting through a full day with heavy use. Now with medium to light use. The pixel three would be just fine, but using the camera really ate through the battery life on the pixel 3, and that's one of the main things you're going to be using for this phone. So don't get a pixel 3 looking for a stellar battery life, it doesn't offer that it offers good ergonomics, a nice display and very fast performance, but not the most excellent battery life.

You're going to find on a phone. It's no surprise that the iPhone, 10s and 10s max was dual camera. Smart, HDR, 12, megapixel cameras are amazing, and I found them to be very good at dynamic range, however, I find the pixel 3 to be a sharper camera. So if you want sharper photos, you want the pixel 3. If you want better low-light, you want the pixel 3.

If you want zoom, you want good skin tones. You want a lot of you. Take a lot of people, photos I, think you'll love the iPhone series, but comes to the pixel 3. This phone actually shot better photos, I think in terms of sharpness and detail like when I pinch into zoom I, just felt like I got more detail and I got a little a less of a soft look like the iPhone gave me this one just a little sharper. It did shoot a little darker, but you can simply edit that out in post, so I think photographers, really going to love the pixel 3 over that of the 10s serious photographers people who like to just take everyday photos of people, family members, things like that I think the 10s is simpler to use.

It also has better video quality. So if you use your phone for video a lot, you definitely want the iPhone 10s. It does do a better job here, and you could tweak the video settings worries. You can't really do so much of that on the pixel 3, so the pixel 3 for photography, the 10s for videography and the 10s for people photography as well for simple and family pictures and stuff, like that. The selfie camera, though, was much better for the Google Pixel 3, as it does have this wide mode.

So, if I go like back out like that, it has a super wide selfie, whereas the iPhone 10s is pretty close to you. So you got to stick your arm out pretty far to get a selfie on the iPhone 10s series. So, overall, in terms of the cameras, it's a pretty close call. I would say if you do a lot of zooming, you take a lot of family pictures. You want a simple camera with good video quality you'll like the iPhone.

If you want, if you're serious about photography, you want the best photos, you can get on a phone just photography, mostly you'll love the pixel 3. And if you like, low-light photography, you take a lot of pictures at night. There's no other choice here, but the pixel 3 in selfie quality, pixel 3 again. So when it comes to the actual audio quality, you have a speaker here at the bottom of the 10s and up at the top now the pixel 3 actually has one at the bottom. There that's why you have bezels on this phone to have front firing.

Speakers I found the 10s to be fuller, sounds better to me, but in terms of directional audio, the pixel 3 was the winner. So if you like audio firing at you, the pixel 3 was more enjoyable. If you like a fuller, just a richer, better, sound I think that the iPhone 10s gave me that okay. So let me give it to you real, quick when it comes to phone call, quality, the pixel 3 actually had better reception, and it sounded pretty nice, but the iPhone tennis, while I had a worse reception when I did have reception. The iPhone 10s sounded better and people care me clear on the 10s, so I think the actual earpiece and the sound through the phone itself sounds good and better on the 10s, whereas the pixel three had better reception and more reliable experience.

So it's pretty close, but I would pick the pixel three if it was just down the phone call quality. So in my experience, using both of these, which is the better phone for hardware, I have to give it to the 10s. It just feels like the more premium product ever since I got. It feels more refined, more polished and just premium. The Google Pixel three in the software feels super polished and premium, but when it comes to the hardware it feels like I was overcharged for hardware that doesn't feel the price point.

So I think the pixel three was about $200 off, where it should have been. They recently dropped it to 599 dollars. That's about right for this phone. It launched it like 17, which just was ridiculous for this phone I feel like, but the software itself is so good on the pixel that I actually enjoyed using it more than the 10s as software, but I found myself liking the 10s when it comes to that bill. That bill quality is just beautiful.

On this device. The camera I find myself actually preferring the pixel. It just knows what to do. Every time with its computational photography, smart HDR brings some beautiful enhancements to the iPhone. Dynamic range is amazing, but the pixel 3s camera just gives me that detail I prefer closer to that of a real camera at the end of the day, if you want better Hardware and you want better resale value, pick the iPhone 10s, if you want a better camera for photography or serious photographer- and you want probably a more simple to use software with more features like split-screen multitasking and the Google ecosystem, you probably want the pixel 3, it's a pretty close one, and I think that there is no clear, clear winner here.

If I only had to choose, one I would probably choose the iPhone of these two in this case here, just because I know that Iowa's 13 is likely to bring new changes. I'm going to get better Hardware here. A bigger screen, I'm also going to get a better resale value on this device. That's it for me, which one do you prefer the iPhone 10s or the Google Pixel 3 comment your thoughts down below thumbs up. If you enjoyed this video Nick helping you to master, your technology be sure to be well and peace.
