iPhone Xs Max - UNBOXING & REVIEW!

Hi guys is a bit and welcome back to a brand-new video. Now we have a massive product on the table today. It will always divide opinion between Apple and the Android fans, but certainly, if you're an Apple fan. This is probably the one day that you've been waiting for this year. It is, of course, the day that Apple release the brand-new phone and right here we have certainly probably the most popular out of the three. In my opinion, the iPhone 10s Macs and today we're going to be doing a quick unboxing and talk briefly about what's changed and how this differs from the iPhone 10.

So without further ado, let's get it on box, but just quickly I will be doing quite a lot of comparisons between the iPhone, 10s Macs, pretty much the same phone, but we'll get to that versus the Samsung note 9 the 1.6, all of them sort of phones. So if you are interested in those comparisons, camera speed tests etc. , then make sure you are subscribed to the channel. You turn on the notification bell so that when those videos are posted, you are notified. So, let's do the dirty; actually we don't even need it's got its own tab, Oh casual just it doesn't want to leave me.

Oh, how dare you right so here we have the box, we have the 256 gigabyte version here, and we have it in gold. So let's do the honors right. So, as you can see, we have designed by Apple in California there we take that up. It is in classic Apple style, pretty much just a manual and a couple of Apple stickers, nothing groundbreaking there. Now we have the phone a very nice bit of kit in the hand it does feel very premium straightaway and, to be honest, people will argue amongst themselves about specs Android / Io s, all of that sort of stuff.

But there is no doubt about it. You are paying a little of a premium for the brand for the logo for the bill quality as well. And yes, so, as you can see here, we have the gold, it's kind of a coppery, color and I do actually really quite like the color. It will divide opinion. Some people absolutely love the gold, slash, copper, other people just think it looks like a plaster, but if you have the 10s version, so the smaller version of this, the only way you will be able to differentiate between the 10s and the 10 is the coloring.

So if you've got a case on it, for example, you won't really be able to tell the difference, which is why a lot of people have gone for the 10s max, which is the larger phone. The 6.5-inch screen compared to the 5.8 on the 10s and proof is in the sales. It did sell a lot quicker in the first few hours of them the 10s, and that theme will probably continue, because it is one of the main differences between this year and the last now the name. The iPhone 10s is fine, the iPhone tennis max. How did that get through the discussion process? Just how could it also in the box? We have our earphones, and we also have our charging cable and the charger as well, and it is a standard charger.

It isn't fast charge which, in my personal opinion in 2018, is a bit of a shocker, really I, understand that accessories, except to make companies a lot of money, but I think if you're paying the amount of money you are for an iPhone, you should get a charger. That's fast charging, it's just yet one of those for you Apple, the only other, aesthetic, that's different between the 10s and the ten is the fact that the camera bomb is that ever so slightly larger at number. Ten, so four cases, for example, they will fit, but the camera will protrude slightly outside the case outside those two minor changes. The S models are always sort of minor updates. They don't usually change anything to do with how the actual phone looks really, and one of the big things is the fact that it is running with the brand-new a12 Bionic seven nanometer chips, which is the first ever 7 nanometer smartphone chips and that's apparently meant to make apps.

For example, open 30%, faster I, will be doing a far more in depth review after a few days. Use and I'll be going through everything that I feel is different and whether enough has been changed on the S models over last year's so make sure you are subscribed to the channel. If you want to see that video, it's also apparently got a marginally quicker face. I'd and the camera have been improved as well. It is very quick.

It is also proven to be far more secure than most other ways of getting into phones. What I still prefer the option to have a fingerprint sensor? Yes, I, think I would whether that be in the display or on the back, for example, don't think I'm alone in that, but there were some of you that are perfectly happy with just face. I'd the rear facing dual camera is a dual 12 megapixels set up both with optical image. Stabilization. The secondary sensor is a two times optical zoom.

The primary sensor is where things have altered slightly from last year, and we now have a larger sensor at F, 1.8 aperture, which should create better low-light performance, and we also have what's known as smart HDR this year. So basically, every time you take a photo with it on it's gonna, take multiple photos and fuse them together, so it creates the most punchy photo possible without over exposing areas etc. You can edit your photos after the event in portrait mode, so you can actually alter the depth effect to make the background more or less blurry to your own taste, and you can also do that now on the front-facing camera image stabilization as well, video recording maximum 4k out 60 frames a second and now another thing they were very proud about in the launch is that for the first time you can record in stereo, audio I will be doing an extensive standalone camera review coming very soon, but straightaway these photos do look amazing. There are no two ways about it. This will be one of the best cameras on a smartphone this year.

So obviously we have the notch which I clocked Apple did this at the launch. The wallpaper they've chosen definitely was designed tied. The not just casually misses the notch by probably a millimeter there, so it just sort of blends in nicely with the black of the wallpaper I saw what you were doing, and now you know it was a good effort to be fair because. Many people might not have clocked that, but of course, yet you do have the notch. It is just one of those things that you've got to get used to.

If you want to use the iPhone, and you've got your gestures as well swipe up to go home swipe down from the right to go to your settings swipe up and hold to go into your recent apps and- and it is very, very fluid- gestures have been brought into Android as well, with Android Pi, with companies like Xiaomi and OnePlus as well, but still to this day, no one does it as well as Apple. This will probably change as Android phones get used to using gestures, but certainly the fluidity of iOS, with gestures is just second to none. An iOS will divide opinion, but again in terms of fluidity. How snappy this phone is? It's definitely one of the most premium phones this year. Should it quite be that expensive, easy another question and that's something that I want to hear from you guys? Obviously it's a fingerprint magnet.

You can see that already with metal and glass, you've got your SIM card tray there, which is dual SIM for the first time. You've got your power button. There you've got your volume up and down here and your switch there to go from loud, so silent, for example, and also on the bottom. We have our lightning port and stereo speakers as well. It's also, apparently the toughest glass now on a smartphone.

Will it still crack I would imagine, so glass generally does but yeah. It should be better. I'd still use a case. It is an OLED display. Because I apparently now got a 60% greater dynamic range on this display.

/ lashes and viewing angles are great 2688 by 12 42. There are 3.3 million pixels and a PPI density of 4 5 8, so I'm guessing media, for example, is going to be great to watch on here on this larger display as well. It is ip68 water and dust resistant batteries also, apparently meant to be an hour and a half longer than the 10 last year in the max version in the 10s. Normally it's about 30 minutes. It's probably going to be pretty much the same now as I said at the start, this has 256 gigabytes of storage, the reason no micro SD card slot, so you can't expand on that some companies- just don't do that.

Some of you guys would be annoyed by that, especially when you compare it to the Samsung Note 9, for example, where you can add that micro SD card this is available in gold, silver and Space Gray, and we're now going to jump onto price and of course the 10s starts at $9.99. The 10s max starts at 10 9 9 and goes up to around 1400 I. Think if you go for the 512 gigabytes of storage, which is the top option, there are no two ways about it. Easy is a lot of money. Some people would be very comfortable spending that sort of cash, other people and I understand these other people they wouldn't be, but then again, iPhones and Apple products in general aren't for everyone.

So that's pretty much it. Let me know in the comments section below what you think about the iPhone 10s max or the 10s as well. Is there enough that's been changed as you also which options you preferred. You prefer the 10s, or do you prefer the 10s max if you prefer the 10 R? Let me know that as well. I can share if you did enjoy this video and found it helpful, subscribe and hit that notification belt.

If you want to see far more videos on the iPhone at tennis, Mac's iPhone in general, smartphones in general tech in general I do pretty much daily content here on this channel. I love you maybe I'll, see on the next one Sensibility peace out.
