iPhone Xs and Xs Max Review: Beauty and the Beast

Sure both the new iPhone, 10s and 10s max have faster processors and better cameras, but the super size 10s max steals the show just look at this thing: it sports a massive 6.5 inch display, which is even bigger than the Galaxy Note 9, and yet the design doesn't feel ginormous because you're getting this screen in a design. That's about the same size as the iPhone 8, plus the big difference, there's no home button and no bezels around the screen so get used to gestures. Although there is a notch, the new gold color is subtle without being too ostentatious and the color match. Stainless steel band adds a bit of bling if you prefer something a little more one-hand friendly. The iPhone 10s is screen is just fine at five point, eight inches, and it benefits from the same 60 percent. Greater dynamic range as the iPhone 10s max both screens boast a searing brightness of over 600 nits according to our tests, but I would rather use the max for watching movies.

It's like having a mini movie theater in your pocket. Another benefit of the bigger display on the 10s max is that you get a dual pane view in certain apps like mail and calendar, but you can't run apps side by side like you can on Android phones. Like the Galaxy Note, 9 Apple says this is the most durable glass ever on any phone we'll be putting that to the test in the future. What we can say for sure now is that the new iPhones earn their ip68 rating, which means they can be dunked in two meters of water for 30 minutes. Instead of last year's one meter, the improved dual camera is identical on the new iPhones, as you now get a smart HDR mode that brings out more highlights and a new depth control feature that lets.

You adjust the depth of field on portraits after you shoot, so you can control just how much both you see, plus the faster autofocus will help you get better action shots as the first seven nanometer processors in a phone. The a12 Bionic chip in the new iPhones is the fastest we've ever tested on Geek bench 4, for example, the 10s max surpassed 11,000 compared to under 9000. For the Galaxy Note 9, we also noticed a difference in everyday tasks like video, editing and opening apps' fortnight took 21 seconds to load on the iPhone 10 s versus 35 seconds. On the note 9, the a12 chip is also custom, designed for delivering better AR experiences like this shopping app without sucking down too much battery life. The iPhone 10 s does last longer on a char and last year's iPhone 10, but the bigger battery on the iPhone 10s Mac surpasses that mark by a substantial margin, which is one more reason to go at the max look.

Both the new iPhone, 10s and 10x Macs are super expensive, and I wish. Apple would finally move to USB sees that you didn't have to pay extra just for things like fast charging, but overall, both new iPhones have the speed, display, quality and camera prowess you deserve, but if I were spending, my own money, I get the 10s max for its bigger 6.5 inch, canvas and longer battery life is the max worth $350 more than the upcoming iPhone 10 R. That's a tougher question that we can't answer just yet, but if you want a more colorful OLED screen, fewer bezels and a 2 X optical zoom, the iPhone 10s max is the better splurge option between the two new iPhones per Tom's guide. This is Mark's Guinea.
