Xperia 1 II vs The World! Blind Audio Test with Surprising Results!

Welcome to another rooftop review here at BTX, I'm tom, the founder of Brecht, and I'm here with a ROG with tatty and Andres our producer, and what we're going to do today is find out which one of the five phones we have in the studio, amazing phones, by the way sound the best, which one sounds the best it's a blind test, so we're going to go through them, one by one, and hopefully we'll all agree, but either way. I will see you in the comments afterwards and the other purpose of this video is. I really want to show you the new studio that we've literally just picked up the keys to we've all been self-isolating and keeping a low profile for the last well since March, and it's only literally now that we've got the keys to this beautiful studio. So I'm going to jump in there right now and show you around I'll, see you there well, that was quick. We are now in the studio. This guided tour will not take long because it's tiny um behind me.

You should see some rainforest because I think I'm right in saying this is the only capital city in the world with rainforest actually inside the city, um beautiful, skyscrapers all around and then over. Here we have the Pacific Ocean. I mean I absolutely love that we love this city, and we're incredibly happy to be going out and about seeing it filming it recording it with the best smartphones on the planet. But when I say we who do I mean Andres, say hello, Andrew and taxi, our studio manager who's just over here and Jackson, our perfect friend who is somewhere over there. I think in self-isolation Jackson, we miss you, we's been how many months since March, we haven't seen each other because we've all been you know self-isolating and so on anyway, we'll be out in the city very soon.

In the meantime, here's our new studio and right now, let's crack on with this sound test. By the way I wanted to jump in at this point to say I know the acoustics are absolutely shocking bad, and we have a plan for that. But what I wanted to do was show you how this place looks empty before we get stuck in and invite you to. Let us know what kind of things you think we should have in the studio here, how you think we should deck it out. What would look great, let us know, I'd love to know in the comments section below I'll, see you there.

What have we got here? The Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra iPhone 11 Huawei, p40 pro Xperia one mark ii and the pixel 4, and there are two things I want to find out today with your help, and one of them is rather than just concentrating on the volume. That's one of the things. Let's talk about the sound quality, because I think too many audio tests, I've seen on YouTube channels. They just focus on how loud these things are, and that's that's not the bigger picture here for us. Is it so, let's focus on these phones find out which one sounds best and then compare whatever sounds best with the note 20 ultra as soon as it's in the studio, which hopefully is any day now.

Actually look. I'm back out here again, I wasn't expecting to be joining you before we start, but I've just finished the test here with tatty and Andres. The results have massively caught us by surprise. There is one phone here that has shocked us all and I really hope that we've recorded this very carefully. So I really hope you hear and get the same shock that we did when we reveal which phone is which, anyway, I'm from the future I'll come back in the present and see you in a second in a short while welcome to another rooftop review, I'm tom, the founder of BTX and this video is all about portrait mode.

Audio clips welcome to another rooftop review, I'm tom, the founder of beaten and this video is all about portrait mode. I just welcome to another rooftop review. I'm tom, the founder of b-tech and this video is all about portrait mode. Audio clip day. Welcome to another rooftop review, I'm tom, the founder of beaten and this video is all about portrait mode.

Audio clip eh welcome to another rooftop review, I'm tom, the founder of BTX, and this video is all about portrait mode. So I hope you know which one is your favorite from a to e. Maybe you've made a note on your favorite two or three. But here are the phones revealed an is the Google Pixel 4 b? Is the iPhone 11 c? Is the Huawei p40 pro d? Is the galaxy s20 ultra and e? Is the Xperia one mark ii? Okay? So I'm going to give you my opinion, but first, let's hear from taxi our studio manager, which one of these phones was your favorite. For me, the two most important things are the overall volume and the clarity of the audio in both of those key areas.

The s20 ultra is my favorite. So the big surprise for me well for all of us. Actually here was the pixel 4 and hopefully that came across in the audio recording there, because, despite the fact, it's a dinky little phone, especially compared to the huge galaxy s20 ultra. It just packs this incredible audio punch, there's a huge amount of bass for any phone, but especially for such a small phone. Okay.

It wasn't the last word in detail and stereo separation and so on. For that we felt that the Sony Xperia one mark ii was incredibly good, but it just didn't have the punch behind it that some other phones here had it's its um, even with Dolby Amazon, it was quite a delicate sort of sound um galaxy, s20, ultra very, very solid phone wheel, felt that was right up there, along with the iPhone the main difference between the iPhone and the pixel.4, surprisingly, is the iPhone, didn't quite have the bass oomph, but it was a beautifully balanced sound. I have to say overall, hopefully that's kind of in line with what came across there and what you think. But I really want to know what you think in the comments section below as ever. I will see you there and by the way the next video is going to be up on the roof in one of these skyscrapers, and we're going to show you nighttime mode on all of these incredible phones.

So we will see you there as ever. Thank you so much for watching. Thank you for everything that you've said in the comments for liking subscribing. Thank you to taxi to Andres, we'll see you in the next one cheers you.
