iPhone XR Unboxing & First Look (PRODUCT Red)

Hello everybody: this is Jerry eke, and I'm back with another unboxing video for you guys today, I got the iPhone.10 are in product red 64, gigabyte, we're gonna, be a box and taking a quick look at it in this video. It's a very intriguing new device for Apple with six colors, either live hooks for the first time and also being positioned under the 10s and 10s max, which are more expensive in the lineup. So this is a very intriguing device that we're going to be unboxing and checking out in this video. So let's concern okay guys. So here we are at the unboxing desk, and we are gonna, be taking a look at the iPhone.10 are in product red I'm really excited about this unboxing, because this is a very new device for Apple, it's sort of like the iPhone 5c, with all the colors. This one actually has six colors.

The 5c had five colors so actually at first for Apple to have all those six colors, and it's very interesting, considering the f1, tennis and tennis Mac's were launched last month, but obviously those start at $1000 which, for a lot of consumers, is just a really high price to pay for an iPhone. So now, with his iPhone 10 R, it will bring that bezel, asst notch design to a lot more customers and I. Think it's really going to be a hit from what I've heard. A lot of the reviews have already said that it is a lot better than people expected and demand is expected to be perfect for the holidays. So let's go ahead and open this up and see what all the hype is all about.

So obviously this is the product. Reddit 64 gigabyte take off the wrapping here and get to the regular box. So taking a look around the box, we have the iPhone logo as usual on the side, and it actually is a nice matte reflective finish on there that matches the color of the phone in the box. As you can see, their iPhone and the Apple logo is in red as well, and these are obviously color matched on all the 10r models, which is pretty cool, and I was he on the front. We got that color matched wallpaper which is available on the iPhone 10 are exclusively, and you have the aluminum color match on the side.

Very, very nice. Looking a box artwork there compared to the 10s max box, which I actually have here. You can see the difference, not hugely a size difference in the box, but you can tell they're, obviously the colors' emphasis on this one, whereas this is more of a traditional looking wallpaper, which this is more of a colorized version to emphasize the color of the phone and color matched obviously to the casing. So let's go ahead and lift the lid on this box and take a look. It comes off nice and easily, and it looks like we have some red peeking through here, I'm, very interested to see what that is.

So, let's go ahead and take off the literature packet and there's the 10r, but I'm very interested to see what this is. Okay, this is a product read, information packet looks like it. Just has a little some info about the partnership with product red some monies donated to charity with the purchase of product red devices. So that's pretty cool and we obviously all have this standard, Apple stickers and other things in a little packet. We'll set it aside here so next time you take the 10r out of the box, so we'll lift the tab here, and here we go.

Oh, my gosh, the red a whole, my gosh wow, that is a bold, rich red, color wow. That is awesome, oh wow, to be honest, I'm actually a little jealous to be honest compared to the gold. This is like phenomenal. Look at that color, my goodness, that is awesome. You can see the red aluminum in there that nice matte finish and then of the back that reflective red Wow I know: we've had the red, iPhone 7 and an iPhone 8 in product red, but man.

This is my first time really seeing in person, and it is phenomenal. Looking wow that looks awesome, and you can also see. Oh, it's already turned on for us. So we got the hello screen there. That's the LCD all screen front.

There is not all ended as LCD, but from my first look at it is looks really, really good. It looks very high-res. Looks very high. Quality overall looks perfect, so let's go ahead and run through the setup process. Real quick here and take a look at that.

Lcd here see how it compares to the OLED. So you can see the bezels I definitely noticed a little. Thicker vessels coming from someone who's used a 10 and then a tennis max obviously now for over a year. I can definitely tell the thicker bezels, but I think for someone who's coming from a 7 plus or 6, or something like that. They're, probably not going to notice the bezels.

To be honest, they really does not have that bad, and obviously it's a lot better than the large bezels on the know, the top and the chin that you're going to accept Plus. So still a dramatic improvement and choose English, United States I'm, just going to try to skip through these as quick as possible, and now it's going through the activation okay. So now we get the data and privacy screen I'll go ahead and skip through this face ID. Obviously we have faced ID on here, which is super cool. Let's go ahead and try to set this up.

Okay, I'm not gonna, keep this because this is actually someone else's a device that I'm unboxing for them. So I'm just going to go ahead and just test this out real quick, so you guys can get a look, but you can see. There's my face just in your face within the frame. I have to move closer, not sure. If you really going to see this on camera, there we go, and it's a whole closer, but it looked like it got the first scan see if you guys can see it this way, and it completed so there we go face Eddie on the iPhone 10.

Our looks just about as easy as on the iPhone 10 antennas max super easy, so yeah, it's not set up, so I'll go ahead and just do a simple passcode here not going to keep that, and yet the LED screen looks phenomenal. I really cannot tell a drastic difference coming from an OLED screen on the 10s max setup just skip through the Apple ID stuff. Here, let's agree, let's say continue: let's install updates manually not now continue. I, don't want to do that. The screen time set up later, don't share, and we got the true tone display as well, which is very nice I love that feature it adjusts the ambient adjust to the ambient lighting.

So the white on the display adjust to that- and it is a very nice feature. It definitely is noticeable once you turn it off after using it for a while. You really do notice it. So that's a nice feature here that we got on the iPhone 10 R as well, so we'll continue. We got standard and zoomed views here which doesn't look to make that much of a difference.

To be honest, if you look at the difference not many changes between there, but you do have the option to use zoomed in which I find kind of interesting that they even include that, because it really does not look that different, but I. Guess if you want things to be slightly bigger, you can go with it's new, but I'll just stick the standard on here, and then we have the tutorial here on how to go home, so you can see here so out up in the bottom edge and then switching between apps and the control center. So there's just a quick tutorial for people new to this interface, which many people coming to the 10r I imagine will be new to the interface, so they will need that tutorial. That's a nice feature. They have there and so now welcome to iPhone, let's so wipe up to get started and oh and already color matches the wallpaper I love that that is super cool looking ice.

That looks with the red. That is a really cool. Look there I really like that. A lot see there try to open a couple apps here, animations, look very, very smooth, LCD looks very, very nice and everything seems perfect, so yeah. This looks like a very, very solid iPhone.

So far, so obviously this is a 6.1 inch display. So let's compare it to the 6.5 inch display of the iPhone 10s max, which I have over here on the lock screen comparing them here you can see. Obviously there is definitely a noticeable difference. I mean this obviously is a larger device, but I think when you look at them side-by-side it really isn't too dramatic. To be honest, like I, don't think anyone is going to be complaining about the 10r being too small.

It really does not look too drastic of a difference. Obviously, I do prefer the 10s max for the know they have the dual camera. Absolutely, you don't have that in the 10r, even though you still get the portrait mode, which is very, very nice, that they still have that feature on there. I do like having the extra camera lens and I also do like just having that slave larger screen in the OLED screen. But, to be honest, I really don't think this is really that bad at all.

Comparing the two sizes really not that big of a difference, it's there, obviously, but you know looking at them side-by-side. That's not bad at all. So now that we're taking a quick look, let's finish off this unboxing, we actually I forgot to take this wrapping off here. So let me do that real quick and there we go. The complete iPhone 10 are completely out of the box in the wrapping.

You can see that it's such a nice bright color, my goodness that is just gorgeous and match with that Walt that wallpaper. It looks amazing. So obviously, no 3d touch on here, which is interesting. There is no you're, not gonna, get any quick actions if you push down on there, but on the lock screen. If you push down like this, you are able to get a 3d touch.

Is feature: it's not completely.3D touch, it's basically a glorified long press, but it gives you some haptic feedback, so it kind of simulates 3d touch, but obviously not gonna. Get that completely all the way through the interface. So if you go to other places that you normally would use, 3d touch like saying like on a web link or something like that. I, don't think that you're going to get that same feature that you do on three to touch, but overall I, don't think 3d touch is something that a lot of average users would really take advantage of me being a techie I. Do try to use it.

You know with web links and stuff that, to be honest, I really don't use it all that much, so I really don't think it's going to be a feature that a lot of people are really going to care that much about at least people that are buying the 10 are at least the typical average iPhone consumer. Probably doesn't use 3d touch that much anyway, a feature that a lot of iPhone users will use, though, is the portrait mode which I'm very excited to check out you get the blurred background. Obviously, that was originally released on the 7 plus I mean obviously the 10 antennas max or 10 tennis max have it, but they have two lenses. This iPhone 10 arm only has one lens, so the fact that they can do the portrait mode is really pretty interesting. They're doing it all through software, so I'm going to try to get a subject here, and we'll try to get it a picture of it.

It says no person detected, but it is usually able to deal with objects when it's seen, if I can get it to work here, it might not actually work. Let me see here just trying to move around here, and it looks like it isn't wanting to do it with a normal object. So I have a feeling that the portrait mode on here is going to be more limited in its use. You obviously can still use it, but I think it's gonna most likely be limited to actual portraits or, as on as the 10s and 10s max, you are able to shoot more, like macro style, shots of just normal objects, because it does have that extra lens and taking a look at what else is in the box. Obviously you get your standard ear, pods, no air pods and the standard charting, brick and lightning cable, and that about finishes it up.

So I believe that is everything. This has been a quick look and unboxing at the iPhone 10 R. This is a very, very interesting device. It seemed very, very well-made the build quality you can tell is absolutely up to Apple standards. It does not feel cheap by any means, I mean because it's not cheap, it is $749 starting at.

That is what all iPhones pretty much used to start I had that $749 price point, the iPhone 6 iPhone 7. They all started at that price point, so it really, or actually I believe it was 649. But anyway this is, you know. Typically, was the cost of the average iPhone, the average high from flagship the for the 10k long? So it really shouldn't be a surprise that Apple has managed to make a very nice high quality device at that price. Point and I think this is really gonna, be a big seller.

It looks very nice. The colors are very appealing. I know, that's gonna appeal to a lot of consumers. I, really like this red, color and yeah I. Think you know a lot of these things like the LCD.

It's really not that big of a deal it looks fine and the lack of 3d touch. I, don't think that's going to bother a lot of people either. So this looks to be a very solid device, and it's been great to take a look at it. So this has been my first look and unboxing at the iPhone.10 I really hope you guys enjoyed it, please be sure to stay tuned for more tech. Videos like this.
