IPhone SE 2020 VS Redmi Note 8 Pro! (Cameras, Speed & Gaming) 2020-2021

All right guys today we'll be taking a look at the iPhone SE versus the Redmi Note 8 pro, as you can see, the Redmi Note 8 pro one of my favorite phones of last year and still a great value phone this year coming in, are at around 229 uh. So you have a really nice premium design only note 8 pro it's a glass back actually has a really nice weight to it. You have your fingerprint scanner with your quad camera set up on here on the side. You have your power button volume rocker. Then you come down below you. Have your headphone jack single firing, speaker and USB type c on here on the iPhone.

You have a smaller body compared to the note 8 pro, and also you have a glass back and actually a metal frame on here, so it just feels really premium in the hand. Now you do have kind of an older design, especially when you get to the front you kind of notice it, but you have a single camera set up on here. You also have your power button, and then you have your volume rockers your mute switch on here, and you also have no headphone jack along with your stereo speakers and apple's charging port. Now you turn both phones to the front uh. This is where you notice the big difference in terms of design.

You have the water drop notch on the Redmi Note, 8 pro slimmer, bezels and on the iPhone. You definitely have bigger bezels on here, but a much smaller display. What I don't really knock the iPhone for that, because some people, just like compact phones, uh, which is perfectly fine. Your touch ID, is up front, which I actually like a better on the front, because you kind of have to pick your phone up to be able to unlock it. So if it's just laying flat, then you just kind of unlock it from here um also now bringing up the display specs on both these phones.

As you can see, you got a 6.53 inch display on the note 8 pro 1080p resolution 395 for the PPI you get 500 nits max brightness and on the iPhone's, a 4.7 inch retina display. You also have 720p plus 326 for the PPI, a slightly brighter display at 625 for the knits, so this phone does get a little brighter than the note8 pro outdoors. Now you will enjoy the media experience a little more on the Redmi Note 8 pro, since you just have a bigger display, and it is 1080p uh you do notice uh. The quality is just overall a little better on here. Now you can do 1080p, but you know it's not technically going to be 1080p on the iPhone, but it still looks good on the iPhone, no real issues uh here I do think the screen on the Redmi Note 8 pro is a little more color accurate uh most.

Definitely you kind of get light sort of like a don't know a darker tint on the iPhone. Se is something I noticed. I just feel like. The no. A pro is definitely a little more color accurate, but as far as displays uh, they are both very great and again, depending on your taste, whether you want a smaller display or a bigger display is going to be up to you, let's find out which speaker is better starting with the iPhone SE.

So the speakers on the iPhone are definitely slightly louder than the note 8 pro in. There is definitely more bass presence on the SE, so definitely going to give it to the SE. I think it's just over a better speaker, since they are stereo yeah, there's nowhere near enough bass, presence on the note 8 pro compared to the SE here now, let's go ahead and talk about the software experience real quick, so you have mini 12 along with android 10, on the note 8 pro you have iOS, 14 or not 14, but 13 it will be getting 14 soon on the SE 2020 and the experience is, you know, usually the same. You know versus android versus iOS, highly customizable on mini, there's a bunch of features. Second space.

You have your built-in screen recording uh. Just a ton of customizable stuff that you can do uh here. You have all these quick toggles news, all that stuff on the note 8 pro and navigating the UI is very fast and on the SE, it's you know the same iOS that we all know not very customizable. You have your control center. Here you can take advantage of some applications that I really love like FaceTime iMessage is really great.

I do think Siri is inferior to the Google now 100 uh, it's just not as useful um to me, but they have a lot of the same features. Also, you have your dark mode on both of these phones, which is great but, like I said, if you're looking for a software that is going to be uh, just a lot of stuff, you can customize and play with uh, then definitely mini.12 is definitely the way to go here. You can do so much uh with this phone, so let's go ahead and talk about the specs a little more, so you have the hello g90t and the Mali g76 only note8 pro, along with micro, SD support, 64 gigs of internal storage and six gigs of ram on the iPhone. You have the Apple A13 chip, no expandable storage, 64, gigs of internal storage and three gigs of ram uh. So basically the iPhone is very blazing fast.

If you just run a speed test now the g90t is no slouch, is very nice processor as well, but as you're going to see here, usually when it comes to games, it's usually a big difference here, faster on the iPhone. Let's try both app stores. Look like you know, a pro got it. There try Instagram, look like the iPhone slightly got it there. As you can see, the g90 is really keeping up with the iPhone which I'm really surprised with.

Since this update has been blazing fast. Let's try the cameras. It's a little yeah, definitely faster on the iPhone. Let's go ahead and get into a game: subway surfer, yeah god that was loud as you can see the iPhone booted that right up, you know a pro now finally got in so as you can see, that was no no joke. Let's actually do that again, because that was like it felt dramatically much faster yeah, okay, that was better, so maybe I don't know, but that that would seem more accurate, because that was too long there, but that's usually the time it will open on the note8 pro now.

The note 8 pro is very powerful at gaming as well. So if you just hop into pub g, both of these phones are capable of playing games on high. The iPhone, I think, should um plays at extreme fps um. So it is just really awesome, as you can see just how fast it is to be able to load and get into games as well. It is just really, really crazy and uh.

If we go to graphics, you can see we're on ultra. That's the only thing about gaming. On here, smaller screens, you can see we're on extreme it's kind of hard to hit the controls, but, as you can see again experience wise if you like smaller screens, this looks fine but definitely super smooth. You will notice that extreme frame rate you will notice that, but the note8 pro does a perfectly good job at being able to play games on high with little to no lag. So it's really nice on both.

Let's go ahead and check out ram management on both phones, starting off with YouTube, still open on both. Let's try, Google Earth still open on both. Let's try, Instagram still open on both try the play, store and app store, still open. As you can see, both phones are perfect uh with ram management. Here, let's try subway surfer, and it restarted on the note8 pro we're still in on the iPhone.

So there's the iOS optimization kicking in for you. Let's go back to pub g still in on both no problem here very nice. Let's talk about some additional features: uh. You do have NFC on both of these phones, which is really nice, so you will be able to do mobile payments. No problem uh! You do have an IP rating on the iPhone.

You do not on the note 8 pro. So let's go ahead and talk about the camera. So only know a pro. You have a 64 megapixel wide and 8 megapixel ultra-wide 2 megapixel macro in a 2 megapixel depth. You get 4k video.

Furthermore, you also have a 20 megapixel, selfie camera and on the iPhone you just have a standard, 12 megapixels, uh shooter shoots in 4k, 2430 or 60. Furthermore, you also have a 7 megapixel selfie cameras used in 1080p uh, so just to talk about the photos, starting with the note8 pro uh. Definitely compared to the iPhone. You just have more options. You have the macro camera.

Furthermore, you also have the ultra-wide camera and the depth sensor, and it definitely does come in handy when you need it to take a certain shot, and you just don't have that on the iPhone and only now a pro you do have a dedicated uh night mode, which will help brighten up photos, and you don't have that on the iPhone, and it's definitely missed. I just like the crisp and vibrant photos on the note 8 pro you just get some really nicely detailed shots. It's something that I really like, like the uh front-facing camera is also pretty good as well and um just to talk about the iPhone. The iPhone also has a very good camera, even though it's a single camera, it is just really, really good. Now.

Edge detection is not as good on the iPhone as it is on the note8 pro. If you look at the trees, as you can see, it's just not as good as the shadow. You know, a pro also detail is going to be a little better on the iPhone from what I notice. If you put them on the computer, you can definitely get more detail shots out of the iPhone, so you'll just be able to see more uh, but as far as shots. These are two really great phones.

The iPhone again doesn't have a night mode, but it does decent in low light conditions, not great, but definitely the front-facing camera. On the iPhone. I like the more natural look and a little more detailed. Look instead of the softer look on the note8 pro and I do think the iPhone has better video than the note 8 pro 100. So let's talk about the battery situation.

You have a 4 500 William battery on the note 8 pro in 18 watt, fast charging, you have a pretty small battery on the iPhone and 1821 William battery, but this does have wireless charging as well as 18 watt fast charging uh. You will 100 get better battery life out of the note, 8 pro most definitely you're, looking at around uh seven hours and 30 minutes to eight hours on the iPhone you're, looking at six to six hours and 30 minutes of screen on time. So definitely a big difference when it comes to that, but you do get wireless charging, which is really nice on the SE 2020. So thanks for watching this video- and I will catch you guys in the.
