iPhone SE (2020) Vs iPhone X! (Comparison) (Review)

Welcome back everyone, we're gonna, be doing a quick little comparison between the iPhone 10 and the iPhone SE 2020 now I was sick and tired of doing the comparison the other way. So this is a little easier for me. Okay, so you guys don't know I'm giving away an iPhone SE 2020 this exact one. If you want to enter all you have to do, is subscribed to the channel. Follow me on Twitter and Instagram I'll be picking the winner on May 8th. So that's that little plug all the links are down in the description.

Now. The thing between these two phones is that, obviously you can't buy the iPhone 10 brand new anymore, but the really cool thing is on the used market, especially on the Amazon. You can pick up a used certified refurbished, iPhone 10 for about four hundred and fifteen dollars, which is honestly a really, really good deal. If you think about it, the iPhone SE 2020 is saying for 400 brand new, and this one is, you know just a little more expense. I mean we're talking like 10 20 dollars more expensive here and there, and this will give you I, think maybe a better deal, but there's still some really cool advantages, we're picking up an iPhone SE 2020.

Now, looking on the front, you have a 4.7 inch retina IPS panel on the iPhone SE 2020. It is 750 by 1334, and it's a pretty good panel. You know what I mean like it's, not bad or anything we're kind of pretty much used to this type of style. We've seen this since, like even the iPhone 6, but at the end of the day it's not a bad looking panel and that's true torn on it, which is really nice. The colors are pretty good, but obviously, when you compare to the iPhone 10, it's not quite up there, but he's still thought for like a budget, issue phone I think it's going to be good enough for a lot of people.

There is quite a bit of bezel around it, which I think people are going to be okay with, but, like I said at the end of the day, you know I think for a budget phone. It's really not that bad I think a lot of people will probably end up getting over it versus something like an iPhone 10, where we have a 5.8 inch super retina, a whole LED display. This is 1125 by 24 36, and this panel is so much better. I mean at the end of the day. It is substantially better how to say financially better.

It is substantially better than the iPhone SE 20/20, and only do you have an OLED display. That's high resolution with true tonal width for such and everything like that, and it looks really nice, but you also have very low bezel around the display and when you compare them side-by-side, I mean definitely iPhone.10 looks better, even though this one came on in 27, and it's almost like three years older than this one, and this one still looks more. You know nowhere and just looks better in my opinion. Looking at them side-by-side, you can kind of see the size difference, and I'll go ahead and zoom into the displays a little. So you can kind of see how they look and in terms of the bezels and everything I see the iPhone 10 wins, but you still have four such, or you should have a touch ID on the iPhone SE 2020, which is really cool.

So I. Don't think anybody's really going to care that much, but it is something to consider at the end of the day on the bottom: they both have lightning ports and on the back you can see kind of a difference. You know we have a dual camera setup on the iPhone 10 and a single camera setup on the iPhone SE 20/20 they both have white backs, but it's also interesting to see how the whites differ on each one. You can see that this one is more, like you know, kind of brighter on the iPhone SE 2020 without iPhone 10 is a little more like subtle in a way. I, don't know like it's kind of like creamy, white or off-white.

In a way they put that wireless charging, which is really cool thickness, they seem to be I, think the iPhone SE 20/20 is a little thinner, but it's kind of hard to tell they both seem kind of the same thickness to be honest and they way they film that hand. They feel almost exactly the same that you know one doesn't feel like inherently more expensive, but maybe the iPhone 10, because it does have the stainless steel sides we're on the iPhone SE 20/20. It has that you know aluminum side, but that's really pretty much it is on the front. You know what I mean that from the iPhone 10 wins in terms of the build quality in the way it looks. This phone also has ip67 dust and water resistance when the iPhone SE 2020 also has IP 67 doesn't want to resistance or the same resistance there.

So that's really pretty much it on the outside now in terms the software. This is where things get a little weird, so the iPhone SE 2020 just came out. You know what I mean, so it's starting off with iOS 13. It's going to be lasting for a very long time. The iPhone 10 has already been out, for you know a couple of years now and this one started out with I was 11 point one, and now it's on I was 13, and honestly I think the iPhone 10 is going to last a minute I'm as the iPhone 10s.

Potentially we really don't know yet, but the weird thing is that the iPhone 10 is probably not going to last as long as the iPhone SE ?, even though this phone cost, you know a little more. So it's pretty crazy. At the end of the day, I'm not gonna, stay here and say, like oh, like the iPhone is you ? is like a way better phone or anything like that, but in terms of software support, the iPhone 10 probably won't last as long as the iPhone SE ?, but we really don't know, yet it's kind of like in the air, but that's kind of like what I would suggest at the end of the day, I mean I, really don't know, but another really cool thing. The iPhone and actually it's supported under that check, range outbreak which is really, really cool. That's something that not a lot of phones have the capability of, but on the iPhones, and we do have- and this is technically the last phone that support it under that jailbreak, which is really cool.

So that's really awesome thing that I wanted to know it, but in terms of the software that pretty much covers it to go ahead and do a little of a speed test between them. I'll just tell you, the specs real, quick I'll, probably do a full in depth to speed comparison at some point, probably not yet, but I'll do it at some point. The iPhone 10 has that Apple an 11 Bionic chip, hex core CPU and 2 models with 3 gigs of RAM, each with the iPhone SE 2, has that Apple a 13 Bionic chip, hex core CPU and three different models with three gigs of RAM each. So, let's go see which one is the fast one, so just clear out all the apps in the background. So, let's start on these things up App Store three, two one and, as you can see, I have phoned SE 2020 and definitely the faster one I'm kind of scrolling through you can definitely see the iPhone SE 2 was the faster one.

There I load phone three two one kind of the same music: three two one I'm, not really to sure I mean know why I love it that one oh I, have a bunch of these third-party apps. So we can go and kind of scroll through we do Twitter three, two one iPhone SE 2, definitely faster there Facebook three, two one definitely iPhone SE to build, will jump three, two one MMM that one was a little tricky, not really a hundred percent sure, which one that was fruit, ninja, three, two and definitely iPhone. Se too, was way faster. I mean you can see that one was pretty clear, stack three to one and again to get into the ad faster on the iPhone SE ? snake versus blocks, 3 2 1, and they were about the same of both not a big difference at all Netflix three, two one, and they were about the same temper into three two ones. You can see the iPhone SE 2 is just way ahead.

It's just flying in front of the iPhone 10, and it's pretty crazy I mean that's a pretty big difference right there. To be honest, we can do the original temple run. Three two one and even taking into that I think was faster on the iPhone SE to will end it off with real racing 3 3, 2 1 you, and even that I mean you guys, can see the iPhone SE 2 is probably going to win here and that's a pretty big difference. I mean look at that this phone, you know technically, doesn't look as good as a phone as the iPhone 10 look, how much faster it is, and we eventually do get into a little download panel. That's kind of unfortunate, but even to get through all that preliminary loading stuff, it was faster on the iPhone SE 2, so definitely I think the iPhone SE 2020 was the faster film between these but again, I'll do a full and s.

Speed test eventually, and I'll be doing a full in depth. Camera tests at some point too, but as of right now, we're just going to be looking at them briefly. The iPhone SE 2 has a single 12, megapixel camera. The iPhone 10 has a dual 12 megapixel camera setup and the quality on both is almost the same. They both have portrait mode, which is really cool, but the iPhone 10 does have that additional telephoto lens, which adds some value.

It doesn't have like crazy amounts at the end of day. It does add some value, which is really nice, the iPhone SE 2. You know they both can do for kids 60, which is really nice, and this camera quality is perfect too, but I definitely do think at the end of the day having more camera sensors, or you know better than not- and you know, with those additions with a 13 chip by having all those like machine learning aspects in that 813 Bionic chip in this camera does add a little of value, probably but still I, think the iPhone 10 may have one here: 7 megapixel cameras on the front and they're almost exactly the same 1080p at 30 frames, so in terms of cameras, I would think I would still probably sign up with the iPhone 10 anyway nominate off with the battery life. The iPhone SE 2 has a 1821 line power battery the iPhone 10 has a 2716 run by our battery. They both have wireless charging and everything, but I think the iPhone 10 probably still has a better battery life funny enough, even for me just having my iPhone SE 20/20 from those comparisons yesterday and everything it was already at like halfway through a little less than halfway through which I was surprised about with my phones like the galaxy s 20, my iPhone 11 and all those phones.

We can get through like multiple pace of comparisons, and then it'll get like halfway through, but the iPhone SE two didn't quite get it. So I mean it's a good phone, but it's not like perfect and definitely the battery life could have been one of those things they could have improved on. But ultimately it's a kind of some video men. Should you pick up the iPhone SE 2? Should you get I use that phone 10? Should you get a brand-new survivor, furbished iPhone type from Apple all space? What I will tell you, though, is that if you have all the money in the world get an iPhone 10, but if you already have all the money in the world 11pro or Pro max, those are the best phones in the market, but between these two I would probably recommend keeping your iPhone 10, at least for a little longer. You know this phone still, who really has an H that much you still have that check range o break if you want it, but on top of that, the price difference between these two in terms of you used one in a brand new one of these isn't really them hunch.

You know, so I'd, probably almost side with the iPhone 10, because there's still a lot of cases where this phone beats a budget phone like this, you still have the great build quality, great screen, great cameras, probably even a better camera on this thing than on this thing, better feeling phone, you know better battery and all those things yeah it's a little over here and there, but still I, think this phone is a great used phone. But this is a better brand-new phone if you have to go brand new. This is a better value per dollar for a brand-new phone at the end of the day. So that pretty much covers that, if you guys have any other questions or anything, if you want to pick either these phones up and links will be down in the description check out the other links in there to leave a comment, if you guys want to hit the like button on me so much, but definitely that subscribe one, every single subscriber that we can't really discount so me so much you guys could hit that also check out the other links down in the description as well.
