iPhone 8 Plus Camera vs Samsung Galaxy Note 8!

Hey guys its crystal thanks for all the love on the iPhone 10 unboxing, but I'm back today with a camera comparison, this time, iPhone 8, plus Galaxy, Note 8. These are kind of perfect to put against each other, because their cameras are kind of similar I mean they both have two 12 megapixel cameras. They both have that second telephoto lens. We have optical image stabilization on both lenses on the noh8, and I'm paper. The noting should do better in low light to now where the iPhone should have the advantages with video says: 4k s, 60 frames per second and 240 FPS at 1080 slo-mo, which I'm really excited to see, but let's go take some pictures and videos and put them side-by-side. Okay.

So, starting with this nice, the daylight picture of a pumpkin I found in my garden, I really just want to see how the colors are going to act. Here with the orange and greens, you can already see that huge bump up in the iPhone that orange just really pops at you and just looks more saturated over the note, 8 and overall the know he just has a softer image here compared to the iPhone. So if you look down to the dirt and the mulch, you can see it's a lot softer and less contrast C than the iPhones, and also some leaves on the back of the zoom, and it just seems like there's a little more detail on the iPhones picture, but moving on to a more landscape shot where you see the sky, more blue on the sky and the iPhone is just really popping out at you again a lot more vibrant than the note 8 stone down blue, but the picture overall in the iPhone is a lot brighter than the notates picture overall I think, even though we tend to say that iPhone always has a more natural looking image than no.8 here. It just seems more real to me now in this picture. I was standing in the shadows with a subject, but that really bright sky in the background, the first one is 6 out is how much sharper the iPhones picture is compared to no 8.

You can really see that if we zoom into the flowers in the middle and also the background ?, you see that little ice-cream cone and the umbrella underneath it is just seems like it, has a lot more detail on the note aids picture. I don't know if I like how much sharper it is well, so the colors just seem like they're handled a lot better. You see there on the top of this little castle thing and the trees. So overall I do think it takes a win with the background, but going to this subject, nobody does expose that would better on the meet the flowers but overall I think they both did a really great job. Here.

Because was kind of a weird shot to get, and in this picture of my sister Gabby, we couldn't really see the themes that these cameras have going on a lot more vibrant colors in the iPhone sharper to and slightly brighter, not really a matter of better or worse here. But what kind of pictures you want to be taking? So let me know in the comments which picture you would pick standing in the same spot: I wanted to take advantage of portrait mode and live focus with the iPhone, eight plus and no.8, where both cameras used built their lenses to blur the background nicely, and especially with this shot. I knew it'd, be a challenge for both cameras, but they both do a perfect job overall, even though there are some parts where it just didn't work well, but what's cool with the iPhone, 8 plus and portrait modes, is we got all this different portrait? Lighting's now, which is cool to see but I, don't know if I'll be using all too much and with the note, 8 and live focus is called live focus because you have the ability to adjust a blur of the background, but it's actually really useful. For me, these pictures tend to always mess up around my hair, so it's cool to be able to address that blur and that make it look as crazy. Now, let's take a look at this picture, I took in Madison Square Park with the Empire State Building in the background and I really do love the colors in the iPhones picture here, even though overall the picture looks a little more faded compared to notice picture.

But now, let's take advantage of the telephoto lens on both of these cameras and get a clearer look of the Empire State Building in the back and man. The colors on the iPhone are really coming through. Looking like cotton candy with that really blue sky and that pink Empire, State Building from the Sun hitting it and on the note 8. It just looks a lot more true and realistic to what that day actually looked like and here's another telephoto picture. Both look perfect, but I immediately notice how much clearer the notates picture is compared to the iPhones slightly blurred picture.

You can see that if you zoom in to our little ghost down there and the pumpkin next to it, you can really see it in the picture overall, and that might be due to the lack of optical image stabilization on the iPhones telephoto lens, moving on to selfies in daylight. The first thing I'm going to talk about is how airbrush we look on the no today's picture. Everything looks way too soft, even though there's no Beauty mode on and on the iPhones picture, just see more details in our faces. Also in my shirt there's more detail, even though this overexposed, it just looks a lot more flat. Looking on the note, eights picture, but I will say, I love the wider angle in the notes, camera and in this selfie.

You can really see that wider angle in no dates picture but again much more detail on the iPhones picture. In our faces and again in my shirt too, but this time to note, it is overexposed one and those buildings are really blown out in the background and also our faces are slightly brighter too moving into a lower light with selfies. We can see those vibrant colors coming in on the iPhone again that really blue sky, just like we saw on the main camera, but that most pictures is also slightly darker than the no day's picture. Here. Everything is slightly more detailed and in focus you can really see that in Gobi's shirt, slightly grainy on the iPhones and on the no dates picture, here's the nighttime shot with the main camera, we're already seeing how much brighter the no day's picture is.

You can see that the top of the yellow sign, starting to overexpose there, and also by the Empire State Building in the back, which also makes this picture lose a lot of detail but an iPhones picture. We see those vibrant colors coming through again, especially in that yellow sign, but just starting to look a little orange with how saturated it is, and here's another low-light shot, and I'd really be happy with either of these I think they both do a great job at keeping everything in focus and still have a ton of detail, but again that no eights picture is slightly brighter and overexposed, and in this low light picture we kind of see the same thing with no.8, but in a much more extreme level it can barely read the H&M sign when the iPhone is still clearly there with all the colors still coming through, but both do a perfect job. With this subject, though, even with all that movement going on the background, there's still a ton of detail and those pumpkins look perfect on both when it comes to videos, we kind of see the same characteristics we saw in the photos. Colors are slightly more vibrant on the iPhone and everything's a little sharper or in the noh8. Everything looks slightly softer, but I also noticed this guys tend to overexpose a bit on the iPhone more than a note 8, especially when I point it up to the sky.

Everything just took a little longer to expose properly and walking around a bit. Both do a pretty good job of keeping everything stable things seem slightly smoother on the note 8, but really you won't be disappointed with either of these, so I really want to hear which camera you guys preferred in the comments below, because it's real is a preference thing here, like you're, not going to go wrong with either of these cameras. Maybe you, like the more punched up colors that we're seeing on iPhone this year. Remember you prefer those warmer tones on the note 8 I, don't know. Let me know in the comments below thanks for watching guys, and I'll, see you later.
