Hey, what's going on guys, I'm nick ray, and today I'm doing another smartphone camera comparison with the new iPhone 12 and the Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra now, as I do in all of these camera comparisons. Everything that you see in this video is recorded on these two smartphones, so keep an eye at the bottom of the screen to see which device and which cameras from that device are being used. As far as the specifications go for these two devices apple is keeping things pretty simple, with three 12 megapixel cameras, two on the back and one on the front, and all of them can record 4k video at up to 60 frames per second. As far as the cameras on the back go you're looking at a 26, millimeter main sensor right now, and then it's also paired with a 13 millimeter ultra-wide camera. As far as the Samsung Galaxy note, 20 ultra things get a little more complicated with a 108 megapixel main sensor, a 12 megapixel sensor paired with a 5x, periscope, zoom camera and then a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera on the back, and the rear cameras can actually record up to 8k video at 24 frames per second. But what you're seeing right now is 4k at 30fps from both devices.
As far as the front-facing camera on the Galaxy Note, 20 ultra, that has a 10 megapixel selfie camera that can also record 4k video at up to 60 fps. Now that we've gotten the specifications of these two devices, all squared away, let's jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparison to see how these two devices perform in everyday use. So and this hereare a look at video quality for the front-facing camera on both of these devices, as mentioned before, they can both record 4k video at up to 60 frames per second from the front-facing cameras, which is pretty impressive, there's not a lot of devices that can do that yet. But as far as the video quality goes, I would say, the iPhone does have the advantage here. Even though the video on the Samsung Galaxy note, 20 ultra, is a little brighter in situations like this and that's gonna.
Do it for this camera comparison between the iPhone 12 and the Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra, as you can see, it is raining out here, so I'm going to call it quits for tonight. Let me know what you think of the camera results from these two devices and which device you'd rather use on a day-to-day basis for capturing photos and videos. I have more camera comparisons with the iPhone at 12 coming up so make sure you subscribe to the channel and hit that bell icon as well. If you want to see that as soon as it's online, thank you guys so much for watching, and I'll catch you in the next one.
