iPHONE 12 UNBOXING & SET UP!! By MissKatie

Hello everyone welcome back to my channel. Welcome to today's video. It is going to be my iPhone 12 unboxing. I just got home from school. It is friday, October 23rd 2020. , I pre-ordered this last Friday a week ago, and it is here in my possession, I'm so excited about this.

I don't normally do videos like this. I'm not a tech channel, I'm a basic vlogger, but I figured I had to film and upload this, so we can all look back at it in 2030 when we have like freaking robots following us around as iPhones at that point, if apple continues to release an iPhone every year, it would be the iPhone 22. Anyway. Here we are, I purchased a white iPhone 12. This is not the pro the mini the pro max.

None of that it's just the straight up. iPhone 12 this in total, with Apple Care, cost me this much money I'll leave the number right here on the screen. I'm not doing this video to brag or show off like I said I wanted to have a look to look back on, and I want to share with you guys. So, let's open this baby up, I'm so pumped also, this is not my normal setup. I just wanted to start filming immediately and had no patience.

So here we go. This is the most satisfying part. Probably this entire video here it is. The first thing I noticed is how thin this box is. Look at that it's so thin.

Also, I do know the iPhone 12 comes without the little power box adapter. So that's definitely a new, very interesting thing from apple okay, it's time. Oh, my gosh, okay, by the way, if you don't follow me if your brand new, if this is the first time you're seeing my channel, I have the iPhone 8 right now, so this is a big transition. For me. I have a lot of friends that have the iPhone 11 Ali just got the iPhone 11 a couple of days ago, my twin sister, so compared to that this looks pretty similar, but the shape of the phone itself.

This is so crazy. This is so light. This phone is a much more squared off shape. Oh my gosh, the satisfaction brand spanking new. This almost dropped it that's why? I have Apple Care, this is a beautiful phone, and I was watching Justine's video talking about this in the camera capabilities and the quality, and I am just shaken at what a remarkable phone this is like I said: I'm not a tech channel.

I don't know a lot about technology, but with the whole 5g a14 bionic chip, whatever the heck that is. This is something else. I'm recording my audio and voice memos on my phone right now. So if the audio gets a little weird disregard that I'm going to pop off this case, so I can show you guys the difference. I have the black iPhone 8 and this is the iPhone 12.

You can see the difference in the shape of the phone. This one, like I said, is much more squared off and the cameras like majorly different. This one has a home screen. Obviously this does not. This has face ID.

This does not, so there's just some little differences. Also, another big thing is the charger. You can charge your phone, or I'm sorry, your iPhone 12, using a normal or a charger like this, but supposedly Apple's USB c charger is much, much faster and charges very quickly. It's so weird to me that there's not a little charger box in here and there are no earphones either. I have air pods, so that's not really relevant to me, but it's just so different and what the heck is, this little apple sticker marketing love to see it.

I have no idea what this thing is. It's a little silver, oh okay, I'm going to need that. I think it's for the sim card. I'm not gonna, move that I'm just gonna. Leave it right there.

Let's turn it on moment of truth. It's so beautiful! Here we go. I was gonna, do a double camera setup for this, so I could show you guys a little better quality, but again with my patients. Couldn't really keep it together, so we're going to go in English. United States apparently can transfer.

I don't know how to transfer my apps and data. I think I can do it directly from my phone, so I have to bring this one closer. Furthermore, I just disconnected the audio because I think it might need to be off for this to operate unlock to continue. Okay. This is amazing.

I just scanned that other one. Okay, that's crazy! Pass code of the other phone okay, it says it's going to take 15 to 20 minutes to transfer. So let's just try that okay here we go. I think this is setting up. I don't know, but it might take a minute.

So I will be back when I have an update. Oh, wait just kidding terms and conditions now I'll be back in a sec. If I have an update, all right that was so fast, it literally took, I think, under seven minutes and hallelujah my shortcuts saved you guys. My widgets are not there right now. I still have to put them back, but I think I can do that straight from the widget smith app, which I will do but stay tuned for a what's on my iPhone video coming as soon as possible.

I believe I'm going to upload that on Sunday, and I'll talk more about my home screen and all that stuff, I think I can just I don't know how to do this. Furthermore, I have no idea how to get a sim card out of here. Furthermore, I think I might just take this to the Verizon store and pay somebody, or I think it's free have them do it there, because I don't want to mess me up and then damage the sim card. You know I'm just too worried about that. One thing I do have to say is: I am beyond shocked.

I was able to transfer everything from one phone to the other in under 10 minutes. I did not know that was a thing did not know. That was a possibility, and that to me is completely mind-blowing that I just stuck my phones. Next to each other and everything transferred over, including my pictures. I took this picture of flowers at the grocery store.

That's insane, I had my whole phone backed up onto my computer, because I was worried that this was not a possibility. We're going to do a little um camera comparison really fast, and then I think I will put my case on pop socket everything like that and then in this video. So I'm going to take a picture this quality. No, you can see my very unmade bed in the back and then my books are on top of the camera. It's the most ghetto setup ever, but I'm going to put this picture on this side of the screen and the iPhone name.

I'm just gonna. Look at them side by side, that's crazy! So I think that my Verizon, you know all that stuff is still set up on this phone duh, because this doesn't have a sim card, but it's basically like. I have two of the same phones right now. This will focus this. One is obviously cracked, but all my wedges are here.

I have like the date, the verse of the day, all that, so I just will have to transfer them from the widget smith app, but I'm so excited. I think this is just gonna, be! Oh sorry, I couldn't, I just held down the power button and I realized it was Siri. Okay, I'm going to have to learn how to do some things on here. Like oh, okay, there we go, I think, taking a screenshot is power. Button volume button things like that.

What I'm going to do right now is put my case on this, so I'm a very clumsy person. Okay, let's just get that straight. This has a big crack in it, and I cracked my phone before that, because I dropped everything that touches my hand anyway. I ordered a screen protector because I did not have one before and regret that, and I have this silicone case. I mean it looks nice and everything, let's see if it fits in there.

There we go. That fits perfectly. So this is a silicone case, I'll link it down below in case anybody has an iPhone 12 and wants to buy it. I got it off of Amazon. I like that the sides are raised a little in case.

Furthermore, I do drop it. Furthermore, I also have this leopard print pop socket that I'm going to put on there right now see how it all looks together. Why I'm just murdering this packaging? Okay, I think I want it around that area. Some people have theirs like all the way up here, all the way down here. I think I want to just smack dab in the middle or a little higher than that.

That looks about right. I don't think that's going anywhere yay, I'm so excited um. Now for the most important part, if I had a dime every time that I've dropped, my phone I'd be living in a mansion. I'd have 15 iPhone, 12s, oh wash and dry hands it's a little too late. For that clean.

This phone screen with provided, wet, wipe and dry remove the dust particles included dust removal stickers. Oh, I'm bleeding. How did I not see that gee hold on ow? I'm pretty sure I just like paper cut myself times a thousand okay. Nothing can stop us. I have to finish setting this up here.

We go, give it a nice wiped. While I'm doing this, I have to tell you guys a funny story so, like I said, my identical twin sister Ali got the iPhone 11 a couple of days ago, and she had set up the face ID, and she's. Like wait. Put your face on here. I want to see if this works, if you can unlock it, I could, so I'm probably just going to be using a passcode from here on out.

Another thing I heard I just team talk about in her video is that some people were upset. The iPhone 12 did not have touch ID because of the coronavirus and people wearing masks. I thought that was definitely an interesting point of view and something I didn't really think about or something I wouldn't think about. So that's a good thing to keep in mind. I don't know if you're like debating buying this or not I'm going to peel this off so satisfying.

Oh, it's not centered, it's not centered, no, no, no! No! No! No! No! Okay! That was really stressful. I thought I had put it on there for good, and it was completely off center, and I was like I can't try to take it off. It's going to crack the screen, but we're good, I'm so excited about this iPhone 12. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. It was a little educational.
