So it's October, and that means the iPhone 12 launch event is this month, and we can't wait for that. iPhone 12 launch event date. We have this week had some more news, including a leak about the iPhone 12 launch storage sizes for all four models. So here is my latest news about the Apple iPhone, 12 release date and price, with my latest iPhone 12 review of designs and specs. So the biggest news we have is a leak about the iPhone 12 Pro launch storage options for all four models on release day.

Just a quick note, I have recently done an iPhone 13 video and a lot of you are wondering why this video has been made. If the iPhone 12 is not even out yet, the simple reason is that leaks are already coming through. Apple is a business where they focus on the here and now products and are already planning for their next one or two as well. Apple have even admitted once in 2011. They are always working on at least three products ahead.

For example, did you know that the first iPad was originally in a prototype stage before the iPhone was even thought of? Also, after the sad departure of Steve Jobs in the world? In 2011, Tim Cook said in an interview after the announcement of the original first iPad Air in 2013 that it was a product Steve was proud of and was sad that he never saw it release. So the long and short of it is leaks for the next models are already dropping. So since the iPhone 11 has been lots of iPhone, 12 leaks given, and if you want all the previous details check out my other iPhone 12 videos on this channel, they are worth a watch to get the latest leaks. So, let's get started with that leak of the iPhone 12 storage options, so we've had news from john prosper again, who has announced that he believes he knows the storage options for the four upcoming iPhone 12 models. He has declared that the iPhone 12 mini.

So this is the 5.4-inch screen model will come with 64, 128 and 256 gigabytes of storage space and the normal iPhone 12. So this is the 6.1 inch model will come with 64 128 and 256 gigabyte storage as well. This news is a bit of a blow if it is true, as we believed apple would now be offering 128 gigabyte storage as the minimum this year, apple bumped up its storage minimum size back with the iPhone 8 and the 10 in 2017 from 32 gigabytes. What was the smallest on the iPhone 7. , however, 64 gigabytes, as the smallest size for a fourth year now, is quite simply embarrassing, with the likes of Samsung flagship models and say OnePlus flagship models, starting at a minimum of 128 gigabytes.

However, john process leaks are fairly good, but sometimes they can be wrong. So, for now we are taking this leak with a pinch of salt, as we have heard leaks from elsewhere, saying it will be 128 gigabytes as the lowest amount of storage. However, one thing john did say is that the pro models, so this is the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro max. They will start at 128 gigabytes, so we believe the storage options will be 128, gigabytes, 256, gigabytes and 512 gigabytes for both models of the pros. Other bits of quick news we've heard this week is another leak showing us iPhone.12 cases labels. So these are the sticker barcodes.

The stickers are confirming the names of the four iPhones again, and this is the iPhone 12 mini the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro max. You may notice there is only three stickers and the reason behind this is the iPhone 12 normal and the iPhone 12 Pro normal version. The 6.1 inches are the same sizes, and the camera block on the back will also be the same size, so both of these phones will fit inside the same case. The good news here, though, is showing us again that apple has made some cases ready for launch date, talk about launch date and release date. The iPhone 12 release date info, we have heard again from john crosser a couple of weeks ago, is apple- will be showing off the brand new iPhone 12 range on October 13th, though that's not official.

Yet, however, we are expecting an announcement this week, while some models are likely to go on sale that week as well on October 16th. We believe that these models will be the iPhone 12 mini and the normal iPhone 12. Other models, like the pro models, won't be available until November time and no firm date has been given for this yet or any strong leaks, so that giveaway I mentioned earlier to be in for a chance to get the iPad 8th gen in that giveaway, make sure you hit the subscribe button first followed by the bell. I'm going to do a recap like I do in all my other iPhone 12 videos of everything we know about the iPhone 12 models, specs and price. So, let's start with the iPhone 12 mini. This is the smallest iPhone that is coming out this year. It has a 5.4 inch, OLED display with a resolution of 2340 by 1080. It also has a 60 hertz refresh rate panel as well inside it.

There is four gigs of ram, and then you have a choice of either 128 gigabytes or 256 gigabyte storage options. We have now got rid of that base, 64 gigabyte option, and it starts at 128, gigs, so good on apple for doing that. At the same time as well, we have that new a14 bionic. What is in the new iPad Air 4 and at the same time, for the first time we will get 5g connectivity inside an iPhone. The body itself will be made out aluminum and there will be a dual camera setup similar to the iPhone 11.

But this time the lenses will be different inside for battery. We will get a 2227 William battery size and the base model will be coming in at 690 us dollars for that 128 gigabyte storage option. The next model is the normal iPhone 12, and this time it comes with a 6.1 inch OLED display at 2500 by 1170 and has a refresh rate of 60 hertz. This is very similar to the normal iPhone 11 that we have at the moment, except for you're, getting an OLED display instead of that liquid retina. What is an LCD on top as well? We get four gigs of ram, just like the iPhone 12 mini a choice.

Again of 128 or 256 gigabyte storage options inside there is that a14 bionic with 5g connectivity again and the body just like the iPhone 12 mini, is made out of aluminum. We also get that dual camera setup very similar to the iPhone 11, but the actual lenses will be different this time and for battery size, we'll get a 2 75 William battery the base model is starting at 799 us dollars and that will get you the 128 gigabyte model. The next model is the pro territory models. So this is the iPhone 12 Pro. It comes with again a 6.1 inch OLED display at 2532 by 1170 pixels, and they will either come with a 60 or 120 hertz refresh rate on the actual screen, and this is still up for debate. However, you will get six gigs of ram inside it again.

You'll have the choices of 128 or 256, but you'll also get the choice of 512 gigabytes storage options for this iPhone. You get the a14 bionic with 5g connectivity, but the actual frame for this body of this phone is made out of stainless steel. This time we will also get a triple camera setup and a LIDAR sensor as well. The battery inside this is similar to the normal iPhone 12, where it's a 2775 William battery size. This base model will be starting at 999 us dollars, and this will get you the 128 gigabyte model.

The fourth and last model are the iPhone 12 Pro max, and it comes with a 6.7 inch OLED display at 2 2778 by 1280 pixels, and again it will have either a 60, hertz or 120 hertz. It has six gigabytes of ram again the choice of 128, gigabytes, gigabytes or even 512 gigabytes storage options. It has that same a14 bionic with 5g connectivity and just like the normal iPhone 12 Pro you get the stainless steel frame body. Again we get that triple camera setup and LIDAR sensor on the back and this time the battery will be 3687 Williams inside it. The base model for this model starts at 1099 us dollars, and this will buy you the 128 gigabyte model for ports on all the iPhones.

They will feature a lightning connection. Not an USB apple still believe that many iPhones require a lightning connection at the moment, because there are still many accessories that require that. However, though inside the box of the new iPhone 12, you will get a lightning cable to USB c end and also, as I have mentioned, and I've rambled on before, and I'm not going to do it this time. That is, you will not be getting a charger inside the box with that cable and, at the same time as well, now cabled AirPods either. Finally, it's also worth noting that this year, all four iPhones will be ip68 at four meters of depth.

So this means, if you're going to go away with your iPhone, and you chuck it into a swimming pool. It can survive up to four meters of depth clean water up to 30 minutes before any serious damage happens to the phone. However, I wouldn't really try doing this watch.
