iPhone 12 Pro Unboxing & First Look By Geekanoids

Hello internet world welcome to a new video on the geek noise channel. This is my live unboxing and first look at the brand new iPhone 12. I bet you can't guess what color I've got, but before I jump into the unboxing I do just want to let you know that you really should subscribe and tune in again in probably about sort of 10 or 15 minutes time, I'm going to be doing an unboxing and first look at the brand new 2020 4th gen, I think, is iPad Air. So that's coming up very, very soon on the channel as well, but this is the iPhone 12 Pro very, very excited uh. Please do share that on your favorite social media platform. So let's jump straight into it and take a closer look. Shall we so this is this? Is the new 2020 iPhone 12 Pro, and you can probably tell from the box which color I went for very, very excited about this. Uh just have a look at the side, it just says iPhone on the side: it's a very slimline box. It's also got the Apple logo on either end, so very slim line and very sort of mixed feelings about the fact that you don't get a lot inside the box this time around.

But anyway, let's take a look at what we get. I did already remove the cellophane packaging, but what's that that is not. That is not an iPhone 12. This looks like an iPhone 4 or an iPhone 4s. How crazy is that? Look at the slabbed sides, glass on the back glass on the front, very, very strange that would be inside the box.

I'm only joking. You here are the iPhone 12 Pro and I just wanted to show you how similar they are in their slab design. So we've got this sort of straight edges now, and it's gone right back to the design of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s. I just thought you would find that rather interesting, we've still got the cover on the iPhone 12 Pro. We will take that off very shortly.

Let's just pop that, to one side I did go for the blue as well really pleased with that choice extremely pleased. It looks very, very nice. I really do like that. There are lots of colors to choose from this year, especially if you're going for the iPhone 12 the standard version. So what else do we get inside the box? Well, we get a little sheet in here or a little pocket with uh, very, very small instructions and the sim room, little sort of USB to lightning but, alas, no earphones, no air, pods, uh, no apple, AirPods, uh, wired or wireless with this and no charging adapter.

So no charging adapter at all included inside this. That is uh, not great. We'll come back to looking closer at this. In a short while I do want to just talk about the emission of a charger. I've got mixed feelings about it because apple said, you know everyone's got a charger uh.

It saves so much on packaging shipping. Carbon footprint, the environment, etc. , etc. My opinion really is what it boils down to is apple wanting to save money on actually putting a charger in the box. What if this uh sort of scenario played out in that you'd ordered your iPhone? Maybe it was delivered very late on a weekend on a Saturday, and you had minimal charge in it and then Sunday you couldn't pick up a charger, or you live remotely where you can't pick up a charger easily, and you can't get deliveries very easily.

How are you gonna then charge your iPhone? I think it's a very, very um sort of bad decision on apple's part. They should have included a charger, and it should have been the 20 watt fast charger just wanted to interject that here let's get a little fold out instruction booklet, I suppose at least you do get the charging cable cover on the back. So this is left uh, clear, or I have cameras uh. I think it's two times optical zoom, on the iPhone 12 Pro I went for the pro this time. Instead of the max.

I just wanted to go down. A little and 6.1 inches is still very big screen. If we look on the side here really glossy on the sides uh, you can see all the button array here. We've got the silencer switch the volume up and down this I've got the speakers and the mic. Then, on the front here, we've got a little symbol showing what all the uh various buttons do.

So, let's peel this off, and I'm going to stop talking just so we can enjoy this. I love peeling that off. That is very, very cool. Let's turn this on see. If we got any power in here, we should have some power.

It should in fact come up with the Apple logo. Is it going to come up with the Apple logo or do they ship them without any power? In now? Let's try that again. So there we go, we've got the Apple logo coming up. While that starts up I'll. Just come back to showing you this again the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s.

I think this is a 4s, not entirely sure if you can see. I've still got a protector on the back there and a screen protector on the front, so perfect condition, because this lived in a case for all of its uh use, and then I've also got here the previous gen iPhone just for comparison. So this is obviously a max version, so you can see the difference in size, and then I've also got a previous one here. This is the iPhone 10s max and again going down from a max to the 6.1. Inch is a little different for me, but there you go.

I'm sort of almost uh convinced that I made the right choice: it's not that much smaller in actual screen size really, and I'm very, very pleased that this will be obviously more pocketable. Now I'm not going to set this up during this video because I need to go through all of my settings, but here you can see you've got the language selection screen. That's the first thing that comes up. You've also got select in your country or region. Really nice screen.

It's got a warm tone to it the screen, so we can set the language, and then it's going to ask me most likely to bring it near to another phone to set this up. So I can actually do that with my existing phone, but we can get a look at the screen here, just at how clear that is really nice viewing angles. First, impressions of the viewing angles are very, very good wow that is really impressive. Viewing angle soled screens across the range on the new iPhone 12s for this year, uh, including the iPhone 12 mini the iPhone 12 iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro max, have all got OLED screens slightly smaller notch, but still quite a large notch on the top. But that is a gorgeous screen.

Really nice colors uh very, very pleased with this. It feels very nice in the hand- and I'm certainly pleased with my choice of I'll, also be doing the unboxing of the iPad Air. The four problem with the video might go a little jerky, because I've got sort of bad internet at the moment uh, but we've got war, Anthony uh finally made a live, show hard to do in the US. It's such a shame that the um this is the iPhone 12, the standard version uh, but the iPhone 12 Pro comes in less colors. I think it's four different colors in total uh, but you got plenty of choice in colors uh this year around, so that is it for uh this particular video uh. Thank you very much for tuning in everyone.
