iPhone 12 Pro 'Real World' 5G Speed Test + Dolby Vision HDR Camera! By Dom Esposito

What's going on everyone, this is DOM, and we are out here in beautiful construction field, downtown phoenix, and we are testing out the 5g ultra-wide band here on the iPhone 12 Pro by the way we're using the iPhone 12 to shoot this entire video. So the footage you see here is a good example of what you can expect from the cameras on the back and the front of the iPhone 12. , but we got the iPhone 12 Pro here. We're going to test out some ultra-wide band, see how fast it is. Let's check it out. We're just going to run a simple speed test right, because that's about as basic as you can get with this whole thing just to see the speed, the raw power that this offers- and here we go whoa.

We are literally 2 300 down right now, like 2526. This is freaking bonkers, like what is happening here, 26.89 down we're almost 100 up 91. This is absolutely insane like you can't make this crap up. You guys like look at this, so if we're keeping this completely on like I want to download apps and files and stuff, so let's see how it performs with that all right. So, let's start downloading some stuff, but one thing there is to point out here on the iPhone 12 under cellular and then cellular data options.

We have data mode and I have allowed more data on 5g checked, and it doesn't indicate whether that that's going to affect actual file downloads, but it does say that it'll provide higher quality, video and FaceTime when connected to 5g cellular networks. So that being said, we'll leave it checked just in case, and I'm going to download modern, combat 5 from game loft right here um. This is a pretty heavy game. I believe it's uh yeah, it's 1.6 gigabytes in file size, so we're going to download this and just see kind of how fast that goes.1.6 gigabytes! It's asking me if I'm sure I want to download it on cellular data. Yes, I'm sure- and we are just going to I mean look at you- can see the progress indicator going right there.

That is moving pretty darn speedy for more than a gig and a half worth of data, that's coming down, and we're almost to the finish line. There look at that. We are inside this game now. The crazy part is if anybody wants to dispute this. The file size is here well I'll, just go back to the iPhone storage, and you can see here that, under that we have boom modern warfare, 1.64 gigabytes downloaded in a matter of seconds. So I don't know what do you think about 5g ultra-wide band, because for my experience, just testing here in downtown phoenix it's stupid fast? Like I mean you saw the game download like in seconds the speed test like 2700 down.

What is even happening here, um, it's! It's pretty ridiculous right! So uh we're just gonna, run a couple other tests and see how that goes all right. So I'm in Google Drive right here. I thought this was a pretty real world style test. I have a video file right here that I uploaded a while back. You can see it's not available offline and if I go to details, it's 502 megabytes, so that's a pretty decent size just to stream right from Google Drive check this out.

If I tap on it, it is literally just immediately starts streaming from Google Drive. That's 4k video right here from Google Drive without any problems at all. It's just the power here is insane now keep in mind that this works with any streaming service, really like it's that fast. It's just it's crazy and I've been using the case the whole time. So if in case you were wondering if a case will interfere with the 5g window on the side of the iPhone, it doesn't seem to be causing any problems for me all right, so I know some of these speed tests might be a little redundant, but it's just cool to see how fast this kind of stuff is.

I mean everybody uses YouTube right, so we have YouTube right here. Let's download a documentary, we have the universal internet documentary right here and if we go to download you can see that we have the option to pick the file size. I want to download full HD 863 megabytes, we click, ok, go to the library, and you can see that that thing is already underway, like look at how fast it's downloading over 800 megabytes we're already halfway done with this whole thing, I mean guys. I just I can't stress it enough.5G ultra-wideband is stupid fast, I'm just pretty impressed overall by the time. I finish this clip there, you go it's done downloading, so I mean I really don't need to go through like a plethora of real world examples.

I think the ones that I showed you are pretty sufficient. The fact is that 5g ultra-wide band is stupid, quick here in phoenix, at least in my experience I mean. Obviously it's going to depend on your location and the availability and, like I said before, I've been using the case on the iPhone 12 Pro the whole time. It didn't obstruct the signal in any way and to be honest, if it had, I, I didn't notice, because I mean gee, that speed test 2700 down is just ridiculous. So this is just a simple 5g real world test here in downtown phoenix, but I want to know what your experience is, and I want to know what you think about 5g ultra-wideband.
